About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. For the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old, I’ve cared for almost every species of house pet you can think of, in just about every way that the owners needed. I genuinely love animals. Playing with them, training them, caring for them, it’s such a rewarding experience for both of us. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own, and they make my life so much better. I’m always building cat walls and catios, new interactive toys for the dogs, and whatever else I can do to give them all the best lives they could possibly have. When working with my family’s business, it’s always been “customized pet care needs.” I plan to stick with that. I have no allergies. I’ve cared for all ages and sizes of cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and probably a few other species that aren’t coming to mind at the moment. I can walk your dog, let them out, or you can drop them off at my house for daycare or meet me to exchange them as well! If your dog isn't dog friendly I would be happy to keep them separate and comfortable! I have a fence for the dogs to run around and play. I also have ties outs for the dogs as well. We live in a wooded neighborhood on a dirt road that is super quiet!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. One may want to play, explore, and keep you moving, while the other may need a slower pace, extra patience, comfort, and a little more attention. I also frequently care for a French Bulldog in my family when his dad needs someone he trusts to look after him. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog individually and learning their routines, personalities, favorite activities, and little quirks. I also have experience caring for Ozzie, my mom’s boyfriend’s 7-year-old Whoodle. Spending time with Ozzie has given me even more experience caring for an adult dog with his own personality, routines, and preferences. I enjoy taking the time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy rather than assuming every dog needs the same type of care. And of course, I can’t forget Mochi, my boyfriend’s approximately 5-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix. Mochi is another special part of my life and has given me even more experience getting to know a dog’s individual personality, routines, habits, and quirks. Caring for him has also taught me that sometimes the smallest dogs have the biggest personalities! What makes pet care special to me is that I don't look at it as simply a job or a checklist of feeding, walking, and letting a pet outside. Your pets are family, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away. I’m naturally very patient, attentive, and nurturing with animals. I pay attention to the little things—whether a dog needs some extra exercise, some quiet time, reassurance in a new situation, or simply someone to sit beside them and give them some love. I’m also comfortable giving pets the time and space they need to warm up to me rather than expecting them to immediately feel comfortable. Whether your pup is a playful youngster, a laid-back senior, or somewhere in between, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them happy and make their care feel as close to home as possible. And because I’m a lifelong animal lover, I genuinely believe that four little paws come with a whole lot of love—and deserve a whole lot right back. My schedule is currently flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week, including weekends when available.
