About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.
About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. I volunteered at animal care and dogwash places throughout highschool as well as taking care of my grandmother and other seniors in life I am looking for work but currently unemployed and always able to give your pet only the best care and time I walk and drive I care for pets in my home by feeding them the proper food,giving them water,snuggling and playing with them,taking them on walks to excersize as well as getting them outside for bathroom breaks
About: I grew up with animals and have been trusted by family and friends to pet sit. I have worked at a doggie daycare place and currently work in the vet medicine field. I plan on staying in the vet medicine field, but it is always nice to see animals where they are relaxed and happy. I do work full time and sometimes long hours but can always check in on animals before and after work. Some days, I will be working in Eagle River so it would be hard for me to check in on animals during the day. I am very good at following instructions so if there is a certain routine that an animal is used, I will follow it. About: My golden is my boss, and I love it. I have had dogs my whole life and am finally in a position where I can help other people with their pups. Walking, playing…I can’t wait to meet all your puppers and doggos! I currently work part time so have pretty open availability for walks and playing. I could potentially board but it would have to be a good fit with my pup. I take my dog Simon on 3 walks a day as I live in an apartment. Keeps me active and him happy. About: I’ve taken care of cats, I have 2 cats as well! While I was in college my roommates had dogs that I would watch when they would leave or couldn’t come home in time. I’m good with both both cats and dogs. Im currently working part time, I don’t think pet sitting is a job it’s so fun to do so I would love it as a side job. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
