About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. We were a home that always had a cat and I was always begging my mom for a dog. I trained my first puppies at 13 and fell in love with puppy care. I've had my dog Tucker for 4 years, got him from the shelter at 5 months old and he's just the best dog. He's a big boy at 100lbs so I'm well equipped to deal with large dogs. I've worked with him through leash reactivity and pulling on walks, he isn't perfect but those traits don't intimidate me, I'll find a way to give your pup the best walking experience I can. I have experience dealing with nervous dogs as my own dog is very selective when it comes to strangers. I'm comfortable administering medications having dealt with a wide variety of pet illnesses/care with my own pets. I'm currently a housewife so I have lots of time to care for your dog or cat. I have no availability on Mondays because I have no vehicle on Mondays. I do not offer care in my home but I am happy to come over and care for your pet while you are away or busy working from home. I can provide play time, puzzle enrichment, walks, meals, and lots of love. My own dog is very friendly to all dogs and would love to come play if your pet is open to socializing!
About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.
