About: Eager to work with all sorts of animals, from dogs & cats to reptiles & rodents! Experienced with animals of all ages and abilities, even those with specific medical needs. I discovered my love for all animals during my two year veterinary assistant training I took in high school. I went on to work at a local vet clinic after high school where I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats of all ages and abilities. I was also very fortunate to learn the basics of caring for toads, turtles, snakes, and chickens as I worked at a 4-H Center for a year. While I no longer have the space to keep my own pets, I treat any animal I care for like they are my own and am very eager to start working with your pet! I am a homebody at heart, so I am available most nights and weekends to care for your pet! I also get flexible breaks during my work day, so I can check in on them consistently. About: I’ve had a variety of pets over the years. Dogs, cats, reptiles, and even small animals. In the past I even worked as a Pet Care Manager at a local PetSmart. My own cats are lovable and quirky and I can’t imagine not having them in my life. I work from 730a-430p M-F. I can make trips early in the morning and then after work at night. My availability for the weekends and most holidays are wide open. One of my cats has asthma so we break down her playtime into 10 minute blocks. My own cats get wet food and dry food with litterbox cleaning 2x a week with a deep cleaning every 2 weeks. both of mind are super social so i spend a lot of time petting and grooming them with their fav brush.
