I’ve grown up around dogs and currently care for my energetic Australian Cattle Dog, so I understand the needs of both high‑energy breeds and pets that require extra patience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely to keep routines consistent and stress‑free. That includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, administering any needed medications, and making sure they get the right amount of exercise and playtime. I also give plenty of love and attention—whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together. I make sure to keep your home tidy and secure, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and safe while you’re away. My goal is to make your dog (or cat) feel comfortable, cared for, and loved—just like they would if you were there.

About: I am a caring and responsible pet caretaker. A pet is a family member; therefore, making sure they are fed appropriately, walked accordingly, and given the attention they deserve is top priority. I have had three dogs of my own, all rescued, so knowing how to gain trust and provide a comforting environment is my specialty. I also have two cats that have enriched my world as well! I know how to handle both anxious and energetic dogs; each needs the same amount of care and attention, yet knowing how to provide this in a unique and effective manner is important to me. I treat all pets with respect and provide the care and service they need, and I hope to provide this care for your animals as well! Compared to other sitters, my schedule is pretty flexible as I do not work a regular 9 to 5! I am back in school to pivot my career; therefore, I am available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings! (depending on the day and class schedule) At this time, I cannot offer pet accommodations in my own home. With my own pets, I stick to a daily routine for my labradoodle (Dora) and two cats (Candy and Tilo). Regular feeding times, regular walks, and of course, keeping their designated areas clean and tidy!

I will treat your dog as if it were my own, give him/her special attention, and a walk/home while you are away. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I enjoy spending time with other people's dogs, taking them for walks, and giving your dog love and attention. I have had experience walking dogs and taking care of dogs throughout my life. I have 2 rescue dogs are both beagles. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and love taking them for hikes in the woods, on trails in state parks, and around the neighborhood. I am available for all the services Rover offers. I can board/watch your dogs at my home. I would love to meet you and your dog! I am a teacher and love coming home to my 2 dogs. We spend a lot of time outside and go for two walks a day. I have a fenced in backyard that is about a 1/2 of an acre. Our fence is 6 feet high. I have two dogs myself, so we have lots of treats and toys as well as extra dog beds. I am also a foster for the Humane Society, Midwest BREW, and Fluffy Dog Wellness & Rescue. I have fostered over 20 dogs in my home of all different breeds and ages. I find it really rewarding!

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone. With over 15 years of experience dog sitting/walking for friends and clients I understand the importance of trusting someone with your pet. You, as well as your pet, need someone you feel comfortable with. I have dog sat for a range of dogs from a 70 pound lab to a 5 pound chihuahua. I also have experience with a wide range of ages from puppies to senior dogs. I am involved in a rescue that works with senior and special need pups and am currently fostering one of the rescue dogs. I also have one dog of my own so I know the value of having someone watch your pets as if they were their own. As a person who loves animals, I am reminded every day the reason these four legged creatures become such an important part of our family. I have a somewhat flexible schedule so am available for stop in visits and walks as well as house sitting. I am willing to work with your schedule. I currently am not taking pets in my home. I am willing to come over for walks or potty breaks at your house if needed.

I work full-time remotely, which means I’m available for dogsitting during the day—my work will just need to come with me!
