“Phoebe house/dog sat for us. She took excellent care of Rocket and sent lots of pictures. She paid attention to all of our instructors and set our minds at ease that all was going well. Phoebe is a true animal lover and I won't hesitate to request her services again”

About: Hi, Caring for your furry family is my full-time job! Your pet(s) are my number one priority. I personally carry general liability insurance and Care, Custody, and Control insurance, in addition to "Rover's guarantee". This sets us apart from many other service providers on this platform. I always respond quickly! If you're looking for a sitter who's reliable, caring, responsible, and friendly and who will give your pet all the love and care they need, send me a message! I'm a stay-at-home caretaker with a love for animals. My husband grew up on a dairy farm outside Kutztown. We have always been dog owners and love the energy they bring to our lives. We have two labs, one chocolate and one black. They are well-socialized with other animals. We live in a house on an acre with a fenced-in yard. We always play outside and walk around the neighborhood if the weather allows. I offer boarding, doggy daycare, check-ins, and dog-walking services. We have a lake just down the road, where the dogs can enjoy quiet walking time and play in the water. Please be sure your dogs are protected against ticks. I prefer to hold meet-and-greets on neutral territory at the Upper Macungie dog park on Route 100, across from Weis. I'm looking forward to caring for your furry family member! Be aware and keep in mind that a request for service that is not booked counts against the Rover sitter. If you message me for services shown as available on my calendar, I am available and will happily care for your furry family! I've been a stay-at-home mother for the last 15 years. Carrying for our home, children, garden, and animals is what gets me out of bed every morning! I'd love to invite your furry family member(s) into our home. We have an electric dog fence around the property but keep guests in the fenced in yard unless your furry family is fully trained to obey "sit", "stay", "come" , and "leave it" commands.
“Ilene stayed at our house with our three small dogs while we were away for a week and she took the best care of them! She sent updates and photos any time she could, and she made sure to follow the extra instructions I had for miscellaneous things around the house. The dogs really seemed to enjoy her and I would rebook her anytime!”

“Kyra took excellent care of our dog Cooper. She gave him her undivided attention throughout the evening. We are extremely happy with her and Cooper loves her. We will definitely be reaching out again when we need a sitter.”

“Isabella is really good with dogs. She did a great job! She kept my husband and I updated. Sent pics and texts. Very knowledgeable made me actually enjoy my trip knowing Tyson & Cooper were in good hand. House was in clean when we got home, she went ahead and made sure everything was good. Highly recommend. Thank you!”

“Alyson did great with our two English Setters. She sent us many pictures and the pups looked happy and smiling! She left our house is great order when we arrived back home. We would recommend her for your furry friends. She even fed our fish!”
“For the first time ever, our cat wasn't traumatized by our vacation so Khadijah has my high recommendation! She kept trying to make friends with our antisocial kitty, took good care of him, our bird feeding, our plants and our home. She reported daily with photos which I really appreciated. She's responsible and caring and I'm grateful to her!”

“Gabrielle did a great job with Maggie! Gabrielle is very responsive and easy to work with. Maggie got lots of exercise and I got lots of pictures. I would definitely use Gabrielle again!”

“In-home pet care for our two older dogs is preferable to boarding and Kristine did a great job looking after our fur babies while we were out of town for a long weekend. Kristine communicated with us on a regular basis and was not hesitant to ask questions. We will definitely consider using Kristine's services again when needed.”

About: I have been house sitting and watching animals since I have been in middle school. I have also had a dog since I was in kindergarten with my family adopting a new puppy there years ago which I helped train. I am a college student taking a summer class at Lebanon Valley College which leaves me free all day on the weekends and on Wednesdays in which there is no class. I am also available to stop by for a bit in the evenings after class lets out. I love playing with dogs and would love to any type of dog on a walk/run and promise that I will be able to tire out the dog before I do. I very familiar with how to clean up after pets and will maintain a safe and clean environment
“We couldn't be happier with the way Eren and Luca cared for our two young cats while we were away! They gave them so much love and attention, and were very patient with our skittish kitty, monitoring him carefully to make sure he was getting enough food when he was too anxious to eat at regular mealtimes. They were great about checking in and sent us lots of video and photo updates, making it easy for us to relax during our trip in the confidence that our cats were being well taken care of. They followed our instructions carefully and left our house just as they found it. We highly recommend them!”

“Syd was absolutely wonderful. We’ve had some rocky experiences in the past with pet sitters but Syd put us right at ease. She was truly a magical human and our animals and home were well taken care of. Absolutely recommend for others and will definitely re-book in the future. Thank you Syd!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 784 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Klinesville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Klinesville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Klinesville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Klinesville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Klinesville. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
