About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds. Back in Texas, I had a hobby farm with cats, goats, chickens, and my lovable dog, Hero. We even boarded dogs on occasion, and my passion for animals has only continued to grow. These days, I enjoy getting outside often—I’m a recreationalist who loves walking and hiking with my own dog. Now that I’m new to the Outer Banks, I’d love the opportunity to walk your dogs or stop in for house visits with other pets, too. My goal is always to make sure your animals feel safe, happy, and loved. You can feel confident knowing they’re in caring hands and treated like part of the family. I’m also happy to answer any questions or concerns before booking to help put your mind at ease. I am currently a stay at home Mom, with school just around the corner I will be kid free with plenty of time to care for your pets! While caring for your pets in your home or taking them for a walk, I’ll happily provide updates about the visit—including whether they ate, went potty, and how they’re feeling—along with photos and even our walk route. I can also administer any needed medications, crate them if required, and ensure your home is secure before I leave.

“Macey has walked both my dogs & let me tell you, they are challenging! A 100lb lab who pulls like he is at the Iditarod & my 14 lbs Cairn Terrier who is extremely bossy. Macey is kind, patient, & reliable. She is excellent at communicating, letting me know she will be there & on time, then letting me know when she is on her way. Extremely good with my difficult dogs. Can't say enough good things about Macey.”
