9. Megan L.
“Megan really came through when we were in a pinch last minute. She helped me figure out what services we needed to ensure comfort for my 2 dogs while we were away for one night. We settled on multiple drop-in visits in our home. She communicated well throughout our trip, letting me know of any slight scheduling changes and sent lots of pictures while visiting with my babies. The house was just as we left it when we arrived home, and the dogs were a lot less stressed than when we've boarded them at the vet in the past. We will definitely rebook with Megan in the future!”

I will 100% be using Mercedes again and cannot thank her enough for loving on my good boy!”

About: I'm not a dog person. I'm an animal person! I have two senior kitties, a gecko, an anole, a hamster, and fish under my care. I love all sorts of cuddly and not so cuddly creatures! I've cared for family cats and dogs growing up and am looking forward to getting my own puppy next year! I've been a sitter for two years. I'm very comfortable caring for senior kitties and dogs. My own senior cat needed oral medication weekly since age 3 for a special condition. I've been solely responsible for feeding, exercising, bathing, and medicating cats since I was 12 and as someone in my mid 20s I make a mature and responsible sitter. I've also cared for medicating a spicy elderly cat with hiv that needed two daily medications, including pills, before their passing (6 months) RIP. So for pets that have special needs I'm very familiar with these procedures and am comfortable with them if necessary as long as we go over them in person first! I believe challenged pets deserve equal opportunity to be cared for and loved! I cannot bathe cats that are fiesty when it comes to water. I also cannot trim any nails as I am not a professional groomer and accidents can cause infection. Safety is my number one priority! AVAILABILITY I have a very flexible schedule as a freelance, work from home graphic designer. I can be available most any day from 5am-10pm, when given at least a day's notice, for sitting, drop ins, and walks. I promise to let any regular customers know as soon as I do of any vacation or emergency preventing regularly scheduled pet care so you have time to find a suitable replacement for your four-legged family member! As I work from home I'm available your pet's entire stay to keep them company and to keep an eye on them! AGGRESSION I'm not comfortable with pets with aggression and if your dog has leash fear I'm afraid I cannot provide outdoor services such as walking or hose showers. Please let me know of any fears or concerns.

15. Shannon H.
“Shannon is a responsible and compassionate dog caregiver. One of the only people I trust to take care of my dogs while I’m out of town. She reinforces positive behaviors and always makes sure she keeps me updated. Our dogs love when she comes around.”
16. Karesa P.
“Karesa did great with my three babies and communicated the whole time for the drop ins she did. I appreciate her coming by to meet them before hand and just her great personality over all. Definitely going to be having her watch my three pups again!”
17. Jacklyne T.
“I was lucky enough to find Jacklyne years ago when I was in need of a cat sitter. She has been the most loyal and trustworthy person that we could have found to take care of our cat. She always sends updates about how her visit went and contacts us if there is anything that is unusual about our cat as well. I would completely recommend her to anyone that needs help with their pets while they are away from home. You can have peace of mind knowing that she will care for your pets like her own.”

About: I have always lived with at least1 dog, I have had super small dogs to extra large dogs. I volunteered at the Pitt County Animal Shelter for 2 summers while I lived there. I treat all my dogs like children. Im working part-time. I can walk dogs before or after work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays or throughout the week at lunch. I walk my dog in the morning and afternoon, so if your dog likes socializing, I can walk them with my dog. I can provide love and comfort when taking care of pets in your home. I will spend time with them so they don't feel alone. I prefer staying in others homes since your dog is used to your home

About: I have take care of dogs for since I was in high school for friends and neighbors. I also have recently taken to caring for my neighbor’s cats. I loved to walk, play, feed, and cuddled with these pets that I kept. Making sure they knew they were looked after and loved was top priority. This comes from me adopting 2 rescues who were surrendered. Remembering stability is important. I am a teacher so I have the summers off. I will also be working part time at Grainger Stadium. The home games are every other week but the games are at night. I have a fenced in backyard for my dog and cat to play in outside. Before opening the door I make sure that both animals are secure in harnesses or away from door before opening if not going to backyard. Security is key.
