About: Hey there – my name is Angie, and I’ve taken care of dogs 🐶most of my life. I am an experienced dog/cat owner who you can trust to take amazing care of your pet.❤️ I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with your pet. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I have a YorkiePoo of my own and would love to have more dogs but due to frequent traveling, it’s sadly not the right time for me. I love having the opportunity through Rover to love on other pets. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! My 13 year old son also helps me out on occasion because he wanted a way to earn some extra money 😊 I have a very flexible job so I am able to spend as much time with your pet as you'd like me to. I am also able to visit several times throughout the day if the need is there. My job allows me to work from anywhere so if a longer visit for companionship is needed I am happy to do that. I am happy to take your pet for a walk if that's what they are used to or spend some time with them letting them run around your yard. If they just need some company and some love for a bit then I am happy to just sit with them for a while and remind them that they are loved.

“Heather always does a great job with our pup! Due to my ongoing changing schedule, I often reach out to her the night before I am in need of her service. She remains flexible with times and is great with communication!”

About: I’ve taken care of a couple of dogs in this area while people are on holiday leave or vacations. I enjoy dogs so much! I always had dogs growing up around the house and they are truly a man’s best friend! I currently work full-time during the day with a hybrid type work schedule that allows me to work from home part of the time. I have availability in the evenings and mostly weekends to be able to pet sit! The precaution of using a leash and making sure I am aware of using that for every single walk is crucial for safety on walks. I want to be able to care for your home well and lock up every time I come and go. I would most definitely ask for specific requests for your animals such as feeding time, when they need to go out, how often for walks to your specific liking.

About: My love for animals all started when I was eight and took care of a family friend's cats. Since then, I have gained experience with animals of all types and sizes. In addition to our family dog, I adopted a rabbit of my own who was my pride and joy for six years before succumbing to a hereditary health issue. I also have taken horse lessons, and I currently volunteer with a nearby animal shelter as a dog walker and socializer. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and breeds, and I look forward to offering your pet the best care it can get. I am currently working remotely, so pet care will be sprinkled throughout my daily routine. Because my schedule is spaced out and very flexible, I will be able to visit your pet as many times as needed throughout the day (or even stay at the house while working if asked) to ensure that they are getting the quality care and attention they need. I work with my clients to give both them and their pets the best possible experience. Prior to hire, I am happy (and in fact, prefer) to have a free 15-30 minute consultation to familiarize myself to the pet and discuss any care specifics that the client may have. Because my care is individualized and will conform to the owner's wishes, I love to send pictures and videos throughout the day of the pet's activities and any extra-cute moments. I make it a habit to send short write-ups of the day and the pet's activities that day so that my clients feel as connected as possible to their pets.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

About: With over 5 years of experience handling small to medium dogs, I've provided expert care through regular walks, feeding, grooming, and pet sitting for family friends. My passion for animals ensures they receive personal attention, comfort, and love, whether it's during daily routines or when they need a trusted sitter while their owners are away ! As a full-time graduate student, pet care fits into my routine by allowing me to balance my academic responsibilities with my love for walking outdoors. Since I’m new to Lynchburg, it’s a great way to explore the community while giving dogs the care and attention they need. I’m available evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends, with added flexibility on Wednesdays and Fridays, making it easy to adjust to your pet’s needs! I currently live in an apartment, which provides a great space to walk dogs outdoors. In the past, I've pet-sat in clients' homes, always respecting their space and following specific instructions to ensure their pets receive the best care. Although I don’t have any pets of my own after losing my dog two years ago, I approach each pet with the same love and attention I would for my own, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.

About: I have dog watched for my neighbors every time they leave for town for multiple weeks in a row. I was responsible for walking and feeding them as well as checking on them every hour. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m available any time of day, any day of the week—including weekends. I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s schedule to make sure they get the care and attention they need when you need it most. I will spend more than the minimum hours with your dog and make sure they are happy. I will play with them and run with them if needed. I will be respectful of your house and make sure everything stays organized and neat.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I am an EMT-b and am working on my RBT certification, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. Safety and trust are very important to me and if desired I can frequently send you pictures/videos of your pets throughout the day! 🫶

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for most of my life, including huskies, shepherd mixes, hounds and small breeds. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

Angela S.
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Angie as a pet sitter. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does. From the moment she meets your pet, it’s clear they’re in kind and capable hands. What sets Angie apart is not just her attentiveness and responsibility, but the genuine affection she has for every animal she cares for. Angie’s heart for animals is also evident in her personal life. She adopted two sweet kittens from the humane society, giving them a safe, loving home when they needed it most. She didn’t just bring them home—she welcomed them into her family. Watching them thrive under her care is a testament to her patience, compassion, and deep understanding of animal needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just providing comfort and companionship, Angie goes above and beyond. She’s the kind of person who will notice if something’s a little off and make sure everything is okay. I trust her completely with my pets, and they adore her too!”
