About: Hello! My name is Kara, and while I am new to Rover, I'm certainly looking forward to putting my extensive animal care experience to good use! I currently own two cats named Ernie and Fern, and I hope to one day add some more friends to our family. Nearly every job I've had involved the care of animals, from my first job at a doggy daycare, to a few summers spent working at a veterinary clinic, a challenging but rewarding period of time at an animal shelter, and my most recent work at a dairy farm! Even as a child, several neighbors trusted me enough to ask that I care for their pets while they were out of town. Through all of this, I developed the ability to understand the individual needs of each animal and to work toward meeting those needs. Whether your furry friends love long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out on the sofa, I would love to help out! I'm available for drop-in visits or more extensive stays as well. I just moved to Saratoga with my husband, so I'm looking for some meaningful work to start off my time here. My schedule is relatively open, so I can make time for most types of care routines. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I am available for a wide range of in-home services. Due to having two cats of my own, I unfortunately cannot have other animals stay at my house. About: I truly love being around furry friends! I grew up with both a dog and a cat, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. Now, I have a 1.5-year-old Labradoodle of my own, so I totally understand the energy (and chaos!) that can come with younger dogs. I have experience with everything from playful puppies to older pets and I’m happy to help with things like basic training or giving medication if needed. Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I currently work full-time during the week, so my availability is mainly on weekends. That said, I’m very flexible with timing and happy to work around your schedule as best I can! I always try to stick as closely as possible to their normal routine—that way they feel comfortable and safe while you're away. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, along with feeding, walks, and any other care instructions you provide.

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: I have always grown up having dogs and love to be around them! I have experience in dog walking and daily pet care such as feeding, cleaning up messes and taking it outside to the bathroom. I am excited to meet your pup! I am a teacher who will be working short hours over the summer. I am available for weekday walks and weekday check ins for your dog. I plan to make sure that I clean any messes that the dog makes within the clients home and that I leave their house the same if not cleaner then how I found it.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and farm animals. Since childhood, I’ve owned and worked with animals of all kinds. In high school, I completed a three-year veterinary science program at a vocational college, where I gained hands-on knowledge in animal care. I also worked at a veterinary hospital, where I was responsible for caring for dogs and cats who were boarded during medical procedures or while their owners were away. In addition, I am a lifelong equestrian with extensive experience handling horses and currently work as an exercise rider at the local racetrack. I also work part-time for another professional dog sitting company. Animal care isn’t just a job for me—it’s a lifelong passion. I work at the racetrack in the mornings, but I am available every afternoon, night, and before I go into work in the morning. I am very reliable! If it’s a fenced in yard, I go outside and watch the dog(s) to make sure they went potty and had adequate play time. If they need walked on the leash, I make sure they have enough time to go potty, and see new sights and sounds!

About: Hi! I'm a dog-loving teacher who has rescued and adopted many dogs in my lifetime. I have a dog at home: Gracie Lou, a 13 year-old pit-mix. I would love to be able to lend a hand to anyone else who knows the trouble of finding someone to watch the fur-kids when they travel. I usually rescue Seniors, so I understand the unique needs they sometimes have. Additionally, I have been involved with pit bull rescue and have a love and appreciation for the bully breeds. I have lived in Saratoga for 9 years and know all of the dog-friendly and accessible places to visit. If my schedule works for you, let me help! During the summer, I am available for walks during the week and on the weekend. When the fall begins, I have limited evening availability and average availability on the weekends. Occasionally, I am able to take in a dog or two for overnight stays, but generally, I will stay overnight at a client’s home. I will make sure that your dogs are loved and cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog since she was a puppy and she’s now 14! Also helped take care of neighbors and friends pets, and pets while babysitting. I’m currently not working so have plenty of time to take care of any and all pets! I’d love to spent this free time caring for your pets. I have gates for areas to block off if necessary and a large crate to house your dog as well. I have a large backyard with a line set up for own dog that clips to any collar. I love to play with and walk dogs and all cats warm up to me!!

I live in Saratoga but I’m willing to travel to surrounding areas for your pets. I have grown up with pets my entire life and feel comfortable with cats, dogs and other animals. My favorite thing to do is take the dogs out for a walk, play fetch and just getting them active. If you have any special requests for your dog or pet I can certainly make sure that these are accommodated. Thanks for looking! I prefer to work after 4, so afternoon walks, let out, or overnight stays. I can also make myself available on the weekends, early in the morning and later at night. If is it multiple days, then I can coordinate to make sure the pets are getting the playtime and outside time that they need. I love to care for all pets. I prefer to take care of the pets at the owners home where the dogs is more comfortable. Let me know if there are cases where the dog would stay with my two.
