“Thank you again for all the attention you gave Molly. We hope to arrange sitting time with you again in the future! We felt very comfortable leaving her with you. She was in good hands!”

About: Hello! My name is Kara, and while I am new to Rover, I'm certainly looking forward to putting my extensive animal care experience to good use! I currently own two cats named Ernie and Fern, and I hope to one day add some more friends to our family. Nearly every job I've had involved the care of animals, from my first job at a doggy daycare, to a few summers spent working at a veterinary clinic, a challenging but rewarding period of time at an animal shelter, and my most recent work at a dairy farm! Even as a child, several neighbors trusted me enough to ask that I care for their pets while they were out of town. Through all of this, I developed the ability to understand the individual needs of each animal and to work toward meeting those needs. Whether your furry friends love long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out on the sofa, I would love to help out! I'm available for drop-in visits or more extensive stays as well. I just moved to Saratoga with my husband, so I'm looking for some meaningful work to start off my time here. My schedule is relatively open, so I can make time for most types of care routines. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I am available for a wide range of in-home services. Due to having two cats of my own, I unfortunately cannot have other animals stay at my house. However, I can stay for any length of time with your pets, depending on their needs. Please let me know if your pets require any special assistance/services, and I will do my best to accommodate. I would also be happy to stop by before the scheduled care days to get to know you and your furry friends!

About: I have hands-on experience walking and caring for dogs for clients, plus years of caring for both dogs and cats for friends and family. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet snuggles, I tailor each visit to your pet’s personality and routine. You’ll get updates and photos, and your furry friend will get dependable, loving care every time. Pet sitting is a natural extension of my weekly routine, allowing me to combine my love for animals with a structured and reliable schedule. I plan my visits around my other commitments to ensure I have dedicated time for each client’s pet, providing consistent care and attention. This includes scheduled feeding, playtime, walks (if applicable), and check-ins, all integrated seamlessly into my day-to-day activities. My organized approach ensures that every pet receives the same high-quality care, regardless of the day or time. Dog Care: When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I follow their regular routine to ensure they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I handle feeding, exercise, and rest according to your instructions, providing plenty of walks or playtime suited to their energy level. I incorporate enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. I’m attentive to their individual needs—whether that means extra cuddle time, gentle handling for seniors, or more active engagement for high-energy pups. I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Cat Care: When caring for cats in a client’s home, I maintain their established routines to minimize stress and keep them comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and offer playtime or quiet companionship depending on their personality. I take the time to ensure they have stimulation through toys or enrichment activities and monitor their overall well-being. My approach is always gentle and respectful, prioritizing their safety, health, and happiness until you return.

About: I truly love being around furry friends! I grew up with both a dog and a cat, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. Now, I have a 1.5-year-old Labradoodle of my own, so I totally understand the energy (and chaos!) that can come with younger dogs. I have experience with everything from playful puppies to older pets and I’m happy to help with things like basic training or giving medication if needed. Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I currently work full-time during the week, so my availability is mainly on weekends. That said, I’m very flexible with timing and happy to work around your schedule as best I can! I always try to stick as closely as possible to their normal routine—that way they feel comfortable and safe while you're away. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, along with feeding, walks, and any other care instructions you provide.

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

“Justin is incredible. He’s responsible, caring and goes above and beyond. I would definitely use him again and highly recommended. He kept me informed and contacted me immediately with any issues.”

About: I have always grown up having dogs and love to be around them! I have experience in dog walking and daily pet care such as feeding, cleaning up messes and taking it outside to the bathroom. I am excited to meet your pup! I am a teacher who will be working short hours over the summer. I am available for weekday walks and weekday check ins for your dog. I plan to make sure that I clean any messes that the dog makes within the clients home and that I leave their house the same if not cleaner then how I found it.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and farm animals. Since childhood, I’ve owned and worked with animals of all kinds. In high school, I completed a three-year veterinary science program at a vocational college, where I gained hands-on knowledge in animal care. I also worked at a veterinary hospital, where I was responsible for caring for dogs and cats who were boarded during medical procedures or while their owners were away. In addition, I am a lifelong equestrian with extensive experience handling horses and currently work as an exercise rider at the local racetrack. I also work part-time for another professional dog sitting company. Animal care isn’t just a job for me—it’s a lifelong passion. I work at the racetrack in the mornings, but I am available every afternoon, night, and before I go into work in the morning. I am very reliable! If it’s a fenced in yard, I go outside and watch the dog(s) to make sure they went potty and had adequate play time. If they need walked on the leash, I make sure they have enough time to go potty, and see new sights and sounds!

“Carolyn, I am grateful for your walks with Dunkin. Now you’ve met both my sons & my “big” grand pup. I love 💕 her. She is funny, a real piece of work! Thank you so much!”

About: Hi! I'm a dog-loving teacher who has rescued and adopted many dogs in my lifetime. I have a dog at home: Gracie Lou, a 13 year-old pit-mix. I would love to be able to lend a hand to anyone else who knows the trouble of finding someone to watch the fur-kids when they travel. I usually rescue Seniors, so I understand the unique needs they sometimes have. Additionally, I have been involved with pit bull rescue and have a love and appreciation for the bully breeds. I have lived in Saratoga for 9 years and know all of the dog-friendly and accessible places to visit. If my schedule works for you, let me help! During the summer, I am available for walks during the week and on the weekend. When the fall begins, I have limited evening availability and average availability on the weekends. Occasionally, I am able to take in a dog or two for overnight stays, but generally, I will stay overnight at a client’s home. I will make sure that your dogs are loved and cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog since she was a puppy and she’s now 14! Also helped take care of neighbors and friends pets, and pets while babysitting. I’m currently not working so have plenty of time to take care of any and all pets! I’d love to spent this free time caring for your pets. I have gates for areas to block off if necessary and a large crate to house your dog as well. I have a large backyard with a line set up for own dog that clips to any collar. I love to play with and walk dogs and all cats warm up to me!!

“Emily took such good care of our dog Kala, she was punctual and went the extra mile playing with her, letting her swim in the pond, and hosing her off and drying her before putting her back inside!”

“Truly a great experience with Alexa! Not only prompt response/communication for scheduling-but treated my dog Buddy like royalty. Better yet, family. She kept me updated on how everything was going and even sent pictures. Her dog Skadi was very friendly and got along with Buddy famousley. Buddy’s stay with Alexa was LUXURY to say the least! Highly recommend a booking with her… know I will be again.”

Gisselle C.
“Gisselle is awesome when I would have her come take care of my cats When I was on vacation she would be on top of it. One of my cats is on medication and it has to be given a couple times a day and she would never miss a day or time. Litter box would be cleaned daily and she would give them so much love it would put my cats at ease since they stress when we are on vacation. Gisselle would also take them on walks since they are trained on a harness which is great because other pet sitters I’ve had wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that. She is punctual and very responsible a great pet sitter if your looking for someone to take care of your fur babies!”

Ariel D.

“Have used Ariel twice now and am always 100% satisfied. My pup is always happy to see her and left in good hands while I am at work. Ariel is wonderful.”
