“I have said it before and I'll set it again, faith is the best cat sitter ever. Really. She is more than a cat sitter. She's a good friend and carer for my beloved Morgan.”

“Abigail was wonderful with my cats! She was reliable, communicative, and sent regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while being away. It was clear my cats were well cared for and comfortable which is all I could ask for. Highly recommend! 🐱💕”

“Thank you for taking my Derby last minute. You were professional with my expectations, The times we talked about, Great communication if something came up. Thank you for going the extra step and picking up the mess he made when he got into my basket that had snacks in it. I really appreciated that. The pictures you took of him while taking him out, was super sweet. He’s such a good boy. Recommend you anytime.”

“I cannot thank Kevin enough. He jumped in last minute during an emergency and kept me updated every step of the way. He was super prepared at all times and very kind. My kitties were thrilled with his care and happy and healthy when I returned. Thanks so much Kev-- you'll hear from me again!”

About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.
“Kelly is an amazing cat whisperer who has taken wonderful care of our skittish cat. She goes above and beyond daily care and our cat actually sits on her lap. Very good with communication. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been the primary care taker of my dog. I have also dog sat multiple times for 4 different dogs, three of which are in the same household. I’m currently working part-time at tacobell, and I’m still in high-school, but for the summer I am mainly working from around 930/10 to about 5/530, this will definitely change when school starts back up though! I would like to work more at other peoples houses due to my own dog being territorial.. I can take the dogs out for walks (Maybe take them on a trail if that’s alright) or I can let them into the backyard if that’s what is preferred. I will also pick up the dog’s poop (I’ll bring my own poop bags and will throw it away in the outside garbage can).
“Becky is a wonderful pet sitter!! I highly recommend her! She took great care of my dogs and was prompt and on time for our first meet and greet. I could tell right away what a great person she is!”

“Anika was great. The cats took an immediate liking to her during the meet ‘n greet so we knew we could trust her. Great communication throughout - so easy and pleasant to work with.”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah! I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, cows, and other animals. I have two dogs of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I’m reliable, responsible, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just hanging out with them while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m always happy to meet beforehand so you and your pets can get comfortable with me! I usually work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but my schedule can switch around sometimes. I’m mostly available Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, depending on my work schedule that week. I provide dog walking and drop-in visits in the client’s home. I’ll make sure your dog gets the exercise, attention, food, and care they need while you’re away. I’m respectful of your home and will follow any instructions you leave for your pet
About: I love animals and have been caring for pets for over 10 years! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, cats, and very young kittens. I have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also worked with different feeding and walking routines, given medications, and even changed dog diapers. I can easily adapt to any pets needs! I just graduated college and have a largely open schedule at the moment. I can pop in almost any time of day and am usually open to last minute visits if they fit into my schedule! I prefer week day visits but can make weekends work too if necessary. In your home I can adhere to any safety protocols you give me and take pet safety very seriously. I have a small dog at home who I keep from getting outside on her own every day, and will treat your pet with that same level of attention and care.
About: I have a medium sized dog of my own and have taken care of her since a puppy. I have helped others with caring for their dogs as well. I absolutely love all kinds of animals. I care for my dog everyday. I give her food and water, and brush her everyday. I exercise her each day as well taking her on walks and playing ball in the yard. I have a dog of my own who plays well with others. I have a dog friendly neighborhood and a field nearby to play in along with many nature trails nearby for long walks.
“Alexandria was great! Appreciated her flexibility adding a drop in on short notice and grateful for her attention to detail in caring for our cats- we came home to happy and clean kitties!”

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Angela to take care of my beloved pets, and I couldn't be more impressed with her services. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that she was not only professional but also incredibly caring and considerate. Angela followed every instruction I provided to the letter, ensuring that my pets' routines were maintained perfectly. Her attention to detail was remarkable, and she went above and beyond to make sure that my pets were comfortable and happy. Whether it was feeding them, taking the time to groom them daily, or simply spending quality time with them, she handled everything with the utmost care and patience. What truly sets Angela apart is her genuine love for animals and her compassionate nature. She treated my pets as if they were her own, and it was evident in the way they responded to her. Her calm and patient demeanor made my pets feel at ease, and I could see how much they enjoyed her company. Beyond her exceptional pet-sitting skills, Angela is a wonderful human being. She is kind, reliable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of the pets in her care. Her positive attitude and warm personality made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Angela to anyone in need of a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. She truly is a gem, and I am grateful for the outstanding care she provided to my pets. I would absolutely, without a doubt book with her again in a heartbeat. Angela, we wish you the absolute best in life. - The Andrews family”

“Ella came to our house daily while we were on vacation to take care of our cat. She made sure she had food, water, a clean litter box, and some cuddles. She sent photo updates each time, and I could tell our kitty enjoyed her visits! Thanks Ella!”

“I booked Elaina to do a drop In visit for my 10 week old puppy and my 8 month old puppy. She cleaned up the pee on the floor, let out my two older dogs and stayed over a half an hour to get my stubborn 8 months old puppy back in her kennel. I will definitely be booking again, if she is still willing to accept us after today’s events.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was born. I grew up walking, feeding, bathing, and loving my first two dogs—a Chocolate Lab and a giant Weimaraner. Since those two, my pet family expanded to a Yellow Lab, a rescue mutt (Australian Kelpie), a Hound mix, an Australian Shepherd-Pitbull mix, a Great Dane, a Pomeranian, a three-legged rescue dog, three horses, five goats, two pigs, three mini horses, and a cat. Throughout my life, I’ve helped to take care of each and every pet that we’ve had. While it’s not always easy, I love every second of it. I am home from college for the summer (May-August), so I will be very flexible and available to help out you and your pets :) I will always make sure your fur baby is happy, healthy, and comfortable. In my care, your pet will always be my top priority. I will never take any job that I cannot 100% commit to.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kings Station
This was our first time using Rover and we feel so lucky to have met Faith! She took great care of our four family cats and paid careful attention to their individual needs and personalities. She was great about communicating each day, sent plenty of pictures, and asked important questions as needed. We highly recommend Faith!

Carolyn was very professional, trustworthy, and caring doing drop ins with my cat, Marvin. During the meet and greet she proactively asked about so many things I hadn’t even thought of to make sure Marvin was well taken care of. She loved on him and made me feel at ease while away! I definitely recommend Carolyn and will be happy to have her watch Marvin again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kings Station. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
