My dogs have very different personalities, which has given me experience with both calm, easygoing dogs and larger, high-energy ones who need structure and engagement. I also have light experience with cats and am comfortable respecting their space and routines. Safety and consistency matter a lot to me. I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and try to maintain your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. We are caretakers of all creatures, great and small. I've had all sorts of pets including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, lizards, birds, even an opossum! I love all animals. It's my belief that my purpose on earth is to care for animals in any way I can. I rescue abandoned or injured animals on a regular basis. I've been lucky to be able to work from home for the past two years due to the pandemic. So I can basically stay with your babies 24/7. My goal when staying in a client's home is to leave no trace of my stay when I leave....except happy and healthy pets! I bring my own bedding and food so you don't need to do anything for me. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home. Which means I can work from your home as well. I'm pretty much a homebody. While petsitting, I will stay at your home most of the time, only leaving occasionally to go home to check on things, depending on the length of the petsit. While caring for your pets, I prefer to have written instructions which tell me when to feed them, how much and where the food is kept or where they are fed. (Sometimes dogs are fed in separate areas, etc.) And all other things I should do whether it be taking in mail or putting out garbage, etc.

About: Ive been an animal lover since I was little, Ive had all types of animals growing up and absolutely love caring for all pets. My roommates travel often and I take care of their senior dog Riley, he is deaf and blind so he needs a lot of extra TLC. I am local to south salinas, I have my own business and make my own schedule. I have my office 3 mins away from home so have the flexibility. Commutation is the most important thing for me, making sure you have updates about your pet and making sure they feel safe and protected weather it’s on a walk or home sitting.

About: I’ve have experience caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I currently have two 6 year old cats in my home, that I raised from kittens. Before them, I had a cat for 16 years and a beagle for nine years. As a child, we had multiple dogs and cats and there has been very little time I’ve spent in my life without a pet of some sort. I am open and flexible all days of the week as this is my only source of income. Same day appointments are also an option most days. I currently live in an apartment with my partner.
