“Molly loves when Cory comes over. He takes super great care of her and keeps her in the center of his attention. It means a lot to me to know that she is being looked after by someone who shows her so much love.”

“Kim was amazing! She went above and beyond and I’m so grateful! She communicated wonderfully and sent plenty of pics while I was away. This was the first time I left my cats with a sitter and wasn’t sure what to expect, but Kim was so wonderful and made it such an easy process. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my girls were well taken care of! 💞”

“Kasie has been great with our berner! He’s older and never had drop in visits so he’s been a little hesitant with her but she has been great and so patient with him, we appreciate her time and effort!”

“Stefanie was so sweet! She took great care of our two cats and spent time loving on them while we were gone. She was very understanding of their quirks and needs including with our older cat! Will definitely book her again if we go on another trip!”

About: When I was younger we had 3 dogs, they were my best girls! Over the years we had rescued 8 cats, one of our cats may have some autism but she is so gentle and just needed some love. The trick is to let them come to you so they see you as a safe space! I currently work part-time but I am not working as much this summer, I may have a few softball lessons since I play college softball. My morning and afternoons are mainly free, in the afternoon is when I workout but I am very flexible! We used to have a fenced in area in our backyard for our dogs and a pool deck (no pool) but had to tear down our deck and now we have a beautiful grassy green area with lots of plants! Our home inside is very pet friendly we have cat and dog toys as well as cat and dog food/treats!
“Britney was the sweetest person! She was great with my girls and they were very relaxed with her even though they just met her. If we are ever in her area again, we would definitely use her again! I highly recommend her.”

About: With a lifetime of experience growing up with dogs, including a Dutch Shepard named Rita whom I taught tricks, I am comfortable with all types of animals. In fact, my dad was a dog trainer, which provided me with additional insight into proper pet care techniques. I’m fully free after work to spend all the attention on your special friends. I will make them my priority in all my free times. Able to follow your instructions to the order. The more information you have to share the better! I want you to leave feeling safe and secure!
“This was my first time to use Rover. Caitlin was great! I liked that I was notified when she checked on my pets and getting pictures of them from Caitlin was reassuring that they were happy. Will definitely use Caitlin again.”

About: Potty breaks Walking I’m home care Out home care I can do anything for your pet and you won’t regret that you picked me for the job. Big or small and I can do the job, does it woof or meow? It doesn’t matter because I can do it. I have no allergies with any animal and I’m a very big animal lover of all sorts. I’m available all through the week and weekend and even some holidays. I had 2 little pups of my own before I moved to Lubbock but sadly we had to give them away because we were staying with a friend. I believe that your dogs and cats will fill the hole in my heart. About: I’ve had dogs all my life! I grew up taking turns potty training, walking and trick training our dogs. I also have experience bottle feeding puppies. I have partial experience caring for senior fur babies. I also have partial experience giving oral medication. I know some dogs have their own preferences for medicine taking, whether with cheese, meat or peanut butter. Just let me know what works for them and I’ll do it! We didn’t have our senior dog for very long but I am more than willing to learn what your baby needs and will do whatever it takes to make them happy and comfy! I’m excited to meet, love and care for your pup! I currently work, mostly, full time. Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings are my free time during the week, but I am also willing to work before or after work on the other days! Also, my Saturdays are entirely open! I unfortunately cannot offer boarding but I can come to your pet and give them the best care I can! Depending on what your pet needs I can let them out to potty in a fenced yard or I can walk them then crate them after, if called for. I can stay for as long as needed to accommodate their potty break and/or if they need play time or just some company! I will follow whatever schedule you have set up for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
