“Sarah is wonderful, I’m so glad we found her! She’s super sweet and was great with my dog— playtime, pictures, great reports! She even took a couple pics of my shy cat who came down to say hello 😊 The cat wasn’t part of the deal, but they got love too! Would definitely rehire next time we have a need.”

“Absolutely loved Marisa! My kitty has been a bit nervous at our new home and Marisa was so respectful and welcoming to her. I really appreciated the updates she sent and the photos that showed how my kitty was warming up to them and enjoying having them over. I will definitely be reaching out to Marisa again for future visits and highly recommend her! She’s kind, professional, compassionate, thoughtful, and very communicative.”

“2nd time taking care of our 4 cats recently. Did everything as requested including sending pictures everyday of happy kitties. Pans were scooped, bowls clean, dry food, wet food and treats. Even took care of feeding the feral.”

About: I've had animals my whole life. They have became a normal part of life! Growing up I always had at least 1 cat and 1 dog (sometimes more!). Now I currently have 4 dogs in my home. 1 GSP, 2 chihuahuas and a French Bulldog. I love all the different personalities they have. I am always the first to volunteer to Pet sit for Family & Friends. I can follow any schedule you have for you pet, or I can simply hang out with them while your gone. I work full-time, but have a lot of flexible time during the day to stop in and care for them. Weekends are always free and I can be with your pet all day/night! I have a fully fenced yard that cannot be dug under. I have a doggy door as well in my garage so they can go inside/out as they please

“It’s really not the most attractive behavior in meeting new people…Nor does it help my carpet. Lol Thank you for the help, yes she loves that trail behind the house! She is a good girl. It’s hard she’s hurting!”

“Jase took great care of our 2 kittens while we were away for a long weekend trip. He fed them, played with them, and cared for them like they were his own. This helped me relax during my vacation, knowing that they were in great hands.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. Fun fact: my first word was doggie. I’ve dealt with all kinds of breeds: Keeshond, pug, chihuahua, jack russell, lab, Australian shepherd, you name it! I SO enjoy dogs, and treat them (perhaps) better than family at times. I firmly believe that dogs are a humans best friend and just want to share my love of them by helping people care for them. I had a pug for many years and towards the end of her life, I bought her a wheelchair and a doggie stroller so she could still enjoy the outdoors with myself and my other (now senior) dog. I moved to Birch Bay in February and was commuting to work in Canada up until the end of June. Since then, I have been looking for work and secured a few house cleaning and Airbnb cleaning jobs for the time being. That being said, I am local and available almost all the time now. I take my own dog out about 5-6 times a day and have been assisting my neighbours dogs (2 golden retrievers) while they’ve been away on shorter trips. While I do live in a condo with stairs, there are several grassed areas in my complex where dogs can relieve themselves. We even have dog bag stations throughout the complex and many owners and renters have dogs here, I can name all of them in my building. My dog goes where I go. She’s allowed on the couch, she’s allowed on my bed. My house is her house as well.

About: Hello all! I grew up on a cattle ranch with all sorts of animals around, all the time. I've raised / fostered / adopted dogs & cats of all sizes and breeds. I moved to Blaine, WA in July 2020 from Orcas Island, WA - and we live 5 minutes from the beach. Beach day, all day! I was certified as a therapy dog trainer in Oregon in 2009 and have carried techniques and skills learned there through my entire adult life. I can offer tips and tricks for training certain behaviors, if that is something you need support in! I can't imagine what life would be like without our fur family and I can ensure your fluffy buddies will be treated as family as well in my care. Have a whole farm? We can chat about a budget that works for you! Even farm owners deserve to take a vacation once in a while! :) Located in Canada? We can make arrangements for border travel, no problem! While currently on a hiatus from fostering, I serve as a behavioral rehab support to multiple rescues that serve Whatcom county. If you have a question on behaviors or something you’re struggling with with your dog - I’m happy to brainstorm and offer options to help! I work from home part time during the week. My weekends are free 100%. I also can bring dogs along in my truck (in the cab) and potty/walk them throughout the day. If we go on an adventure, your fur baby will ride in the back of my car with the climate controlled depending on the weather. They can be transported with or without a crate as well. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 ft no climb wire fencing. The yard is separated into 3 sections, to allow space and time for introductions. No dog is left outside without a human supervising. Crates are available upon request (so you don't have to pack yours up!), and the house can be divided 3 ways to allow for space and time as needed. Wherever your dog is most comfortable is where your dog will sleep (even if it's in our bed or on the couch!). PLEASE NOTE: We have our own pack of SIX (6) dogs (see below). I make sure to allow for proper introductions to any new pet on site. This means that for meet & greets and for pickups/dropoffs, our home may sound a little like a ZOO! And, if you’d like to meet everyone that’s onsite - plan to allow plenty of time for the interaction (and let me know ahead of time so I can plan my time as well!) I can assure you that we maintain safety above all else & are happy to accommodate preferred practices for your canine.

About: About this sitte I've been a dog lover and owner of both small and medium dogs for the past 25+ years. I've had young dogs, old dogs, sickly dogs and can handle any situation. I have experience administering medications, injections, etc. I’ve also had several cats over the years and understand their idiosyncrasies. I prefer small to medium dogs but am open to caring for large dogs as long as they aren’t known to be aggressive or have a bite history. I'm a retired RN with time now to pursue things I enjoy, one of which is caring for pets. I have two senior dogs of my own so understand how difficult it can be to find someone who is trustworthy, reliable and who will care for them as they would their own. My schedule is flexible, available most days and times. At this point, I am not offering house sitting or boarding in my home. In the near future, I may decide to update my services to include boarding in my home. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, a house with a fully fenced yard and a special “cookie” cabinet just for them.

“Tammi did a great job and we will definitely have her watch our cats again! She sent us daily updates/photos, communicated with us well and we are so glad to have found her. She loves animals and we highly recommend her!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by animals of all kinds. I’ve had lifelong experience caring for pets, especially dogs and cats. I provide loving, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I handle all care personally. I am recently retired and want to stay active. I have two adult daughters who are active on Rover, walking and boarding dogs in Seattle and Tucson. I live on a 300-acre farm in Custer, WA, where I grew up with dogs of all different breeds. Later in life, I raised a black lab from a pup. Her name was Keela; she was very smart and lovable and lived to be 14 years old. Pets in my care receive constant supervision, regular exercise, and a calm, clean environment. I care for each pet myself and prioritize safety, comfort, and trust.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. My partner and I have 2 young, high energy dogs as well as 3 cats. Gus is a 2 year old Golden Retriever and Pennie is a 3.5 year old English Shepherd. Cats are ages 10, 6, and 5. I am not a dog trainer, but I have attended training classes at Tails-a-waggin as an owner with my 2 dogs and I am comfortable using positive reinforcement techniques with dogs. I work remotely out of Ferndale. I have the ability to work from your home or I can stop by on my breaks (timing can be flexible). I have an hour lunch break so plenty of time for a walk or potty break if you live near by. I will be very diligent about the safety of your pets. I have a lot of experience making sure pets are contained in their home or yard. I do not allow on leash greetings with other pets or people when on a walk for your pets safety. I have reliable transportation just in case a pet may need to be transported to the vet.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Being in the army I also get called to take care of others pets when they are out of town. Once I am scheduled with a pet owner they assume priority after I get off work M-F at the latest 5PM and I get weekends off I get a full understanding of the owner’s expectations with me and there pet in there home when they are out of town. I try to make constant communication with the owner too.

“Kay was great! We were nervous because our dogs haven’t had anyone come to the house to let them o before, but she took great care of them. She was on time and followed instructions and played with them and let them out. They seemed to be comfortable with her. We will definitely use Kat again!”

About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! Your pet is as important as my own pet, I don't want anything to happen that would make anyone sad, things happen but things can be prevented as well.

“Brianna and her family are excellent dog hosts. Our pup Scout was a bit nervous during the first night of a multiple night stay, but she was patient and literally exhausted every idea possible to make sure he was comfy. Ultimately, he settled right in and enjoyed the rest of his time. Brianna communicates well, is prompt, and even went out of her way to drop Scout off for us the day after we got home from vacation.
