“Milena took great care of our cat while we were away. He looked forward to her daily visits. She was even kind enough to water my flowers during the hot weather. We look forward to booking her again.”

“Kristen took great care of our cats while we traveled. She provided detailed daily updates and timely communication to let us know that the kitties are doing well. We returned to find our cats safe, happy, well-fed, and everything nice and tidy. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: Hi there. I'm Dorian. I'm a huge animal lover. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I've cared for animals my whole life. I’ve fostered animals in my home, and I’ve watched pets for family, customers, and friends. Dogs are my passion. They are a huge part of my life. I will treat your pet like family. I am a vigilant sitter. I am experienced with dogs, both young and old. I’ve taken care of puppies and have trained some myself. My husband and son also love animals. We are an animal loving family. I hope you will choose me to take care of your pet(s). I am dedicated, and I will make your animal feel very loved. Thank you for your consideration. Bye bye I have a flexible job and am able to schedule my hours around visits. I am also up early, so I can make early visits. I have a fenced in yard. My dog loves romping and playing outside. In your home, I will make sure your dog is able to go outside-whether in your backyard or on a walk.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats. We do tend to spoil them. I have lots of room for them to run and play in our fenced in yard. We walk them on a leash through our nearby cemetery. I currently work part time with Amazon flex. I will always be available if I have any pet jobs as Amazon flex is very flexible. I’m available for home and pet sitting. I have a fenced in back yard and currently own 1 miniature Daschund female 2 years old to help keep your furry friends playing or if needed I can use a crate with permission only.
About: I’ve been caring for pets ever since I was a kid. I currently manage a dog/cat boarding facility. I’ve been working there for about 5 years and have tons of experience. My family and friends always rely on me for my help. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life! I work with animals daily and have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I build pet care into my routine by making time for walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. When pets stay in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home! 🐾 I provide plenty of love, attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and opportunities to relax. I do my best to keep their routine as close to normal as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special care instructions. I love making sure every pet gets one-on-one attention, whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, getting extra cuddles, or simply lounging around. I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness and treat every pet as if they were my own. ❤️
About: Hi! I’ve had a dog since I was a toddler and I’ve always been fascinated by dogs/pets, and caring for them. I love spending time with them, playing, walking and having fun! I’ve always considered them an extended part of my family, which makes me understand how importante they are in our lives and that they have needs just like everyone does! Part of those needs are caring, helping them keep themselves active, proper feeding and to stay healthy, no matter their age, breed or condition. Time apart from them can be tough, but by showing love and care, I help them to relax, have a good time, and to wait for you to be back with them! 🤗 I currently work part time, which gives me a lot of flexibility, and time to spend with my furry friends 🐶 I also have a car, that lets me move quicker and helps me attend my pet-guests 🥰 I have a large fence backyard and a sweet brown lab named Cocoa, who’s always happy to receive guests! In case our furry friend is not interested in having company, she likes giving them space. There’s plenty of room to keep them separate 🧘🏽
About: I have taken care of my own dogs ever since I was 7 years old and have been in love with animals ever since. I have taken care of all sorts of animals from hamsters to horses. I am currently looking to have pet care be a daily thing in my life and would like it to take up a lot of my free time. I make a routine schedule for my animas so they know when they get fed, when they go to bed and when they get exercised or let outside
“Hannah did such a wonderful job with our mini Aussie. He is very timid and anxious with strangers because he has been bounced from shelter to shelter before we adopted him. Benny warmed up to Hannah and allowed her to give him belly rubs!”

“Lani does a fantastic job with Minnie. She goes above and beyond trying to get our scaredy cat to come out from under the bed and we really appreciate that. Minnie always gets food and water and Lani cleans her box and cleans up throw up. We are very happy with services provided.”

“Kaylee was great!! She took amazing care of my 2 cats while I was away for 2 weeks, getting them plenty of play time and sending pictures of them every morning with little write ups of their moods and activities. She also went above and beyond when obstacles arose with their food supply and my changed schedule. It was a huge relief knowing my cats were being well cared for by someone that clearly loves animals. She’ll be their go-to sitter from now on”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have two pugs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to each dog’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, medications, senior dogs, and giving pets extra attention and affection while their owners are away. I also work in hospice care, so being compassionate, calm, and reliable comes naturally to me. I’ll treat your pets like family and make sure you feel updated and reassured while you’re gone. I work full time during the week from 9am–6:30pm, but pet care fits naturally into my routine since I already care for my two pugs daily. I’m available for evening visits/walks on weekdays and have much more flexibility on weekends for drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I pay close attention during walks and outdoor time, especially in hot weather, and I never leave dogs outside longer than they should be. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and close supervision to keep them safe from anything that could bother or harm them. I’m also very mindful about keeping floors and spaces clear of anything pets could get into or accidentally swallow. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your animals, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d want for my own
About: I’ve dog sat for a few family friends and absolutely loved it! I love animals (especially dogs) and would be happy to care for your doggo. I currently work part time, and my hours are very flexible. I can always take a lunch break for a quick drop in/walk! I have also lots of time for pet sittings and I always let pet parents know about that upfront before any booking! I am also a college student. For the semester of 2026, I have one online class that is also flexible. I always make sure to follow their daily routines to keep them as comfortable as possible while the family is away. I love communicating as much as possible and sending updates during the stay. I always ask questions and let pet parents aware of their day.
“Abigail went above and beyond to care for a stray mother who had her kittens who tragically passed away before I got home. She is a very caring and attentive sitter who I completely trust with my home and babies :)”

“John-Michael was great! We were a last minute booking and he communicated with me right away. He spent time with our old tabby cat and took great care of her! Will definitely book again!”

As of November 2026, there are 2,384 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Keysville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
