“Have a small concern. When we got home the following morning after your visit, there was no dry food in Minnie's bowl and the water level was done to about 1/2 inch. The only thing we can think is that Minnie was full of anxiety and just ate and drank everything. To make sure that doesn't happen again, In the future we would love it if you could fill both bowls just before you leave at the end of your visits, whether that be morning visit, evening visit, or both. Minnie is very slow to warm up and is likely very scared and nervous about us leaving her. We will try the approach of filling both bowls at the conclusion of all future visits and see how that works out. Thanks.”

About: Ever since I was a little kid, I have felt connected to animals. I have had and taken care of dogs since I was 10. When I went away to college without my dogs, I realized how necessary doggie love was to my happiness. This led me to volunteering at the local SPCA walking dogs. Now, I am back home working at a doggy daycare. Caring for animals makes me feel fulfilled and I would love to share this love with your furry friend! I currently work part-time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available both in the mornings and evenings. I care deeply for all living beings around me and believe they are all deserving of love and care. I will take your pup on walks and make sure to keep them company while their favorite people are away.
About: I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 3 dog's now and just enjoy their company because they make me happy. We like them more than people at times. A dog will always be in my life. Even have tattoo of 3 my best camping buddies I have currently retired from government serves after 36 years. Now I have fun jobs. Dog sitting and DJing. I have no kids just dogs , but my dogs and your dogs are my kids and I just love love having new joys to watch. I had 5 doggies at one time,but we are now down to 3 pups. I will always have fur babies as part of my life. I care for my pets as if they were my kids. I have no kids. So they are spoiled. Even when I watch other people’s dogs they are treated better than their own homes they don’t want to go back. Our own pets are under my Carroll county kennel Lic #60 Pryors pawls palace! Your pets are treated as if they are mine. Big yard to play in and to play with my dogs if they like them. If they don’t I have plenty of rooms to keep them safe. And if your the type that would prefer to have someone stay at your place so you dog doesn’t get upset i can work with you as well and follow all your dogs needs. I’ll even pick your mail up and take your trash out.

About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.
About: I have always had animals from reptiles, ferrets, dogs, cats and everything in between. I know life happens and sometimes we need help in giving them the love and care they need! I am available at anytime any day! Please let me know if there are any last minute adjustments but I should be able to make anything work. About: I've been taking care of dogs and sometimes a cat that my family had had for many years. In 2017, I got my first dog, Rowan, who's in my profile picture with me. Sadly, he passed away in March of 2025, but I was there with him every step of the way and tried to give him the best home and all the love any pet deserves. I have experience with potty training and some basic command training using voice tone, treats, and a consistent routine. When my dog got older and got sick, I had to adjust certain ways of doing things to help him be more comfortable and get him to eat and take medications, so I'm a bit experienced with those situations, as well as with a healthy young pet. I'm available every day, except for Tuesday-Thursday. I'm good with dropping by every 2-4 hours or even staying over for an extended period of time to watch and take care of a pet. If it is a dog I'm caring for, then I'll give regular bathroom breaks and, at the same time, incorporate exercise time for the dog (may give more time if needed/requested). I'll also feed and check on the pet as requested and discussed with the pet owners to ensure that the needs of the pet and what is expected of me are satisfied. If it is a cat, I'll engage outside or inside as requested, feed and clean the litter box, and even give a little time with the animal to ensure they don't feel lonely, and then either leave or stay as requested.

I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: Having the background of being raised on a farm has given me an innate love for animals. I have become a go to person for my friends and family in the city with not only dogs, but farm animals as well (cows, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits etc.). I have experience with injured and ill animals as well in care taking. I am able to follow dietary restrictions and diets in general as well. Pets, cuddles and walks are no problem of course! :) I currently work from home (Thurmont, M-F 8-5) so I am very flexible with me being in home for either a whole work day, half day or drop ins (if close by). About: Ive been taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets for a little over 6 years now. Over the years I have learned many things about pets and how to calm them down and gently direct them in the right path. I also have lots of experience with senior dogs who need more attention to detail than younger dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite well.
