About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them like family. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and ages, including high-energy dogs, anxious pets, and senior dogs who need extra patience and care. As someone with a CNA background and currently in nursing school, I’m very comfortable with routines, medications, attention to detail, and providing dependable care. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, medication, or just someone patient and trustworthy while you’re away, I’ll treat them like my own. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to provide dependable care throughout the week and weekends depending on your needs. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to stick to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and playtime. I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to communicate updates and pictures while you’re away so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I understand that every animal has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I’m attentive to instructions, comfortable with medications if needed, and patient with shy, anxious, senior, or high-energy pets. Whether caring for your pet in your home or during walks and drop-ins, I’ll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own animals.

About: Experienced in 25 years with all domesticated animals from bottle feeding to senior care. I have raised and rehabilitated lots of animals. I have a lot of experience at rehabilitating wildlife as well. I stay in contact with local shelters, vets, and sanctuaries. I currently work from home and I make my own schedule so that allows me to know in advance what days I can book your furry (or non furry) pal! Being home also allows me to spend much needed time with your pet, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will take multiple pets from the same owner. I want your pal(s) to have the best experience at our home. I stay at home the majority of the time. One of my three dogs are crate trained. I have experience with crate training if your dog is used to a crate upon leaving or at night. I have a separate 3rd bathroom that I have always used for my own dogs in case they need to be put up a while upon leaving briefly. If your little guy or gal is shy, no worries I have all the patience needed for that. If he/she wants to stay away from the others, I have a separate large room (with TV for noise) and extra bathroom. My dogs love watching dog TV, and maybe yours will too. If your pal follows a strict schedule, it would not be a problem to accommodate!

About: I have always had pets growing up, and have taken care of countless pets of all species, breeds, ages, and sizes for friends/family since high school. I love the challenge of winning over an animal that is hesitant around new people. The more stubborn they are to warm up to new people, the harder I try to win them over. But it is always at their pace and on their terms so that they are completely comfortable with me. Your pets will be loved and spoiled like they are my own. I am available during the nights for in-home pet sitting, with the option to pop in during the day to let your pet out and for feedings. When I care for pets in their own home I make sure that the pet owners show me where everything is located within the home for the animals, and leave emergency numbers such as vets in an accessible place in the case of emergency. I will take as much time with your pets as they need in order to be comfortable and well provided for.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I absolutely love my babies. I really love getting to spend time with animals, and even getting to take care of them! I work part time at a cleaning company so I have plenty of time to look after your babies! The only times I ever need is Sundays for church! I go by all of the house rules and feeding plans, and if it is needed, all of the cleaning needed while I am there!

About: Hi I’m Madison! I love animals and have dog sat on multiple occasions for elderly and young dogs. I’d love to take care of your animals in exchange for the happiness I’ll get from walking and interacting with them! I have pretty open availability at the moment. I can pop in a couple times during the week or stay longer if needed. I do have animals at home so extended days will need to be talked about. I have a large yard that I can take your dog out to play in! There is also a park with a bunch of trails nearby!

About me: Raised in the country surrounded by both family pets and farm animals, caring for critters is second nature to me. I am a doting grandma who lives too far away from my kids to see my grandchildren so I channel that attention toward my Australian Shepherd, Gumbo, and my new puppy, Boo, the Yorki-Poo. After I lost my husband and best friend I found the best way to cope is to help others and keep busy. If I can help you out with your dog or cat while you're away, let me know. I can use the extra income but also I need to feel useful. I keep my fee low. Tips are appreciated. I board at my home in the country near Dukedom, TN. Think of boarding here as bringing your dog to Grandma's house. There will be some spoiling and if pet parents permit, homemade dog cookies! Currently I am home all the time. Your dog will be with me and my dog while here. Gumbo (30 pound neutered male) likes to play fetch or frisbee and we do this daily. I feed my dog early morning (6-7) and early evening (6-7). I give a lot of outside time when weather allows. I give my dog a lot of attention and your dog(s) will get the same. We are a pack and your dog will be part of that pack when he/she stays with us. I live on 6 acres near Dukedom, TN. My large backyard has a chain link fence. If your dog likes to play ball or frisbee this is a great yard to do it in. In addition to the backyard, I have a large field that I keep a path mowed around just for walks but to go there your dog(s) must have excellent recall or be leashed trained very well. I don't want to be pulled around or have to struggle to hold them. Dogs really like going to the field. "No" is the word I use to stop misbehavior. If there is a different word you use, let me know. It is good to know what words/phrases your dog recognizes. It'd be great if you write those down and give it to me. I have carpet throughout my living quarters so PLEASE only housebroken dogs. I give numerous long outdoor time between 5 AM to 9 PM. Potty breaks are every couple of hours. Your pet must be vaccinated! Bordatella vacs are recommended every six-to-twelve months. if your dog frequents places with other dogs, get 6 month vaccine. My dogs are vaccinated. In the warmer months, it is very important that dogs have a flea and tick preventative or have some defense against these nasty bugs because both are out here. I keep grass mowed but they still get on the dogs so make sure they have a preventative. My dogs wear clothing treated with Sawyer flea/tick spray and I have had great success with that method along with a monthly prescribed medicine. Bring your pet's food/bowls/treats along with feeding instructions. Filling out pet profile in depth on Rover helps tremendously! It has an area for vet info and anything I would need to know about your dog can be on their profile! Gumbo has dog toys that he shares but if your dog has a fave, bring it. If your dog must sleep in a bed or crate, bring it. Sometimes a sweater or anything with your scent on it comforts a dog that misses his/her owner. You're welcome to bring that. If he/she has a brush that you want me to use, bring it. I can brush dogs but have no proper facility to bathe. In the summer, I have a small dog pool to cool off in and plenty of shade in the backyard. NO cell service out here so I do not carry my phone with me. I check my messages several times thru the day but I'm not like most that have their phone on them. It does me no good. Many rural people pay for cell service despite not getting it at their homes. I have a landline that works providing my internet service works. If there is anything else you need to know, do not hesitate to ask. I have my profile set to only take in three dogs at a time. I have two so I think five is enough. I am very attentive so rest assured I am keeping a good eye on them.
