About: enjoy taking dogs for off-leash adventures…I mean look where we live! I also loving caring for senior pets…they are truly the best and sweetest ones… i’m semi-retired and have lots of time, and a deep love of ALL the animals but dogs in particular. I want to work part time, and helping others with their pets seems like a great way to do it.. I have a condo free of distractions or dangers for your pet, and I live just a very short walk from the dog park on Warm Springs in Ketchum…

About: I have had my own dogs for as long as I can remember. When I moved out I started helping the strays in the neighborhood. I do work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. However I can always stay with the animal and walk them in mornings or evenings. I am pretty flexible on weekends. I am able to keep the dogs well groomed, well fed, as well as walking them and playing with them too. I can stay at the hosts house.

About: I've taken care cats, dogs, and guinea pigs since I was a little kid. My family was super adventurous and we took our dogs everywhere with us. Growing up we fostered cats and dogs of all breeds and ages. I am a professional cross-country skier so I am very active during the day. I can go on many walks or runs with your dog if needed. I will be out for two hours in the morning and then free until the afternoon. Our cats are indoor cats because of our busy street. However, growing up we would let our cats out for however long they wanted and then let them in. We had a revolving door so when we were home they were allowed to go out. I will try to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible when watching your pet.

During this visit, I also familiarize myself with the location of your dog’s items and routines, ensuring that I can provide the best and most attentive care. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with two labs and giving them several walks a day was always a high priority so they could burn up all that energy!I understand the importance of a good walk and how it can also be tough to squeeze in sometimes on a busy day. So don’t spend the day feeling guilty if your schedule won’t allow time to give your dog a walk. I can help. We usually let our dogs off the leash so they could run and fetch, but if you would rather me keep them on a leash that is what I will do. I have lived in the area for a while so I know plenty of spots to take them, or if you have preferred routes I will do that. On 3 occasions over the past couple years I have stayed with my sister and her husbands two dogs (lab mixed with Aussie Shepard) for a week at a time. They have as strict of a walking routine/diet as you can imagine and I had no problems satisfying their needs. I also understand that when traveling you cannot always bring your pet with you and putting them in a doggie hotel is both expensive and not a good time for them. If you’d like them to remain in the comfort of your home I’m happy to spend time with them and make sure they are comforted through that period. I work mornings from 5:30-noonish 5 days a week. I am available from 1 until 8 or 9 for walks or check-in’s, feeding, cleaning up. I’m a very active person so can take your dog on long walks, a hike or just play in the yard if preferred. My parents who are often not in town have a large very nice condo in elkhorn that is pet friendly that is available for use. There is an upstairs deck available off the living room for them to go between for them to get some fresh air The yard is not fenced so downstairs I could not leave them to roam. But neighborhood is quiet with a great path for walking them, also have trails out into the desert I could take them if alright.

“Shelby did an excellent job on a week-long stretch of drop-in visits for our cat. She gave daily updates and went above and beyond by bringing in packages from the door, cleaning up cat hair (which gets everywhere in a week's time), and taking out the trash. The videos she sent were hilarious. Never worried about the fuzzball or our condo while we were away. Shelby has been our best Rover-sitter yet, and we'll be using her next time.”

About: I am currently living in Ketchum with my wife. I am working at Lefty’s and she works at Sun Valley. We have both had animals since we were born, and we love them all. I am from Salt Lake City but have lived in San Francisco and Chicago working as an Engineer. My wife is from Chile and has 5 cats at home. We are always happy to meet new animals. I like to spend a lot of time with whatever animals I’m taking care of. I love going outdoors and am experienced in keeping my own pets safe with the risks of the mountains. I am also happy to keep them at home or walk them in more controlled environments if they or their owners are more comfortable with that. Taking care of someone’s pet is a great responsibility and my absolute priority when dogsitting is keeping them happy and safe. Particularly staying in someone’s home, I will always do my best to make sure everything is taken care of as well as I can.

About: I love dogs! I live with my 17 year old miniature poodle, Milo, who I have had since we were both pups. We love house guests and walking mates. Milo and I walk around city park twice a day. In addition, I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. I work from a home office and am at home most of the time. Your dog will always be by my side. I am a professional videographer and would enjoy sending update videos letting you know what your loved one is getting up to while you are away. Milo and I hope we are a great match for your dog / dogs and would love your dog/dogs to be our temporary roommates. I work for Sun Valley but have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Walks, Sitting, check ins only as I currently can't have pets staying at my current dwelling. Unfortunately I can't house any pets at my current location but would love to watch your dog set up as a sitting at your house.

About: I was raised on a farm in WV, having been around all different animals my entire life! I love working with and caring for animals. I work at the Montessori school in Ketchum 11-5. Could be available in the morning if communicated! I am available in the evening anytime after. Also can be available on the weekends or over night if communicated! Keeping fresh water, the animals gets ample attention & playtime when appropriate. For dogs a minimum of two one hour walks a day. Anything that encourages active and connecting stimulation

About: I have taken care of animals, whether they are my own or my neighbors since I was a child. I have fed, walked, bathed, given medications to, and played with most types of animals. I just moved to the area, so I currently have all the time in the world to hang out with your fur-babies. I have two cats of my own and I love to play with them, but I love meeting new animals and making friends. My cats have free roam of the house, and they are very well behaved. They are allowed outside with a harness on, and they love to explore. When taking care of animals in a home that is not my own, I typically ask what the owner prefers to do, and that will be my default for the time period I am caring for that animal.

About: Hi, my name is Jackie Flaherty and I am a college graduate from the University of Hawaii. I graduated UH in 2020 with my B.A. in Communications. I am a former kennel tech and adoption counselor for the Hawaii Rainbow Ranger animal rescue. I have always had a passion for working with animals, from dogs, cats, horses and even small caged animals. However, dogs are my absolute favorite to work with. I have 10 year of experience pet sitting. I am a seasonal worker in Sun Valley and have a lot of availability in my schedule for this winter season. Your dogs will be well cared for with long walks, extra play time, and any treats or food it may need. Photos of your pet will be sent to you each visit to keep you updated on their day. I work remotely which allows me to fit pet care into my daily schedule. I’ll be able to stay at your home and keep your pets company all day while you’re away. I always make sure to keep my clients pets well attended. Throughout my work day I always check in with the animals and make sure they receive ample love, attention and exercise.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, and honestly, my life just doesn’t feel complete without them. I’ve had 3 dogs, 3 cats and lots of different animal. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been gentle and caring with every animal. Animals aren’t just pets to me they’re family. I love spending time with them, whether it’s playing, cuddling, or just making sure they feel safe and happy. I’m studying psychology and hope to combine that with my love for animals in the future, maybe as a vet or through therapy work. I have a house back in my home country in Europe, and I currently have a dog and a cat. My dog lives inside but gets lots of outdoor time, and my cat goes in and out as she pleases. I walk my dog three times a day, and sometimes we go on long hikes. I really believe dogs should spend as much time outside as possible, get plenty of exercise, love, and a good diet. In my home, pets are safe, happy, and super well cared for. I’d give the same care, attention, and love to any pets I look after making sure they’re happy, safe, and well taken care of.
