About: I’ve spent over 15 years in the pet care world, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of settings — from veterinary clinics and kennels to long-term boarding facilities, doggy daycares, and canine training, including work with both gentle companions and those with behavioral challenges. At home, I share my life with two Australian Shepherds and three other wonderful dogs. To me, pets are far more than just animals — they’re family. The bond we share with them is one of life’s greatest rewards, and I believe their physical and mental well-being is the foundation for that special connection. I have a large, secure fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love to play and help keep visiting pups engaged and happy. If your dog prefers a quieter pace, I’m always ready for one-on-one time — whether that’s playing, going for walks, running, hiking, exploring, or simply snuggling. No pet should ever feel unwanted, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own.

About: I have two rescue dogs. Their personalities are opposite as night and day. One is very energetic and the other is a couch potato! Whether you have a high energy pup or calm one, your dog will find a friend here. My energetic pup knows when to stop playing if it’s not reciprocated in the first 15 minutes. I have a giant playpen and crate for dogs who need their alone time or is required by the parents. Those doors are always open. No need to bring yours. I separate all dogs while eating and let them out when they’re done. We mostly stay in the living room watching tv or outside. I have grown up with labs, chihuahuas and pit bulls. I have been dog/cat sitting for years for family and friends. I am fairly new to Rover. My fur family enjoys hiking and going to the park. We walk the neighborhood for 2 hrs a day. I am comfortable giving medicine. My dogs are my children and I take care of other animals like their mine. I worked as a manager for large department stores so I am very dependable and responsible. Thank you for your interest in me! I am currently working part time. My job is flexible. However, if you’ve booked me less than 48 hrs, we will have to agree on a good time for a drop off. I am able to be present with my animals majority of the day. If you request to board, make sure you bring everything your dog needs for a successful stay. Appropriate size collars/harness, training pads, etc. If your dog is an escape artist or doesn’t walk on a leash well, disclose that to me. So I can prepare myself before each walk and not be caught off guard. I also provide a quiet relaxing space for dogs. If your dog barks excessively and not the casual barking here and there, I would not be able to babysit them. Feel free to reach out to me at any time. About: I have 7 dogs, 4 cats, and 3 guineas pigs here at home, so I have a lot of experience with many kinds of animals, all shapes and sizes. I can deal with any type of breed, and any type of pet (snakes, bearded dragons, etc.). I can walk, feed, and spend lots of time with the animals if needed. I prefer watching the animals at the client's home, since I have so many animals already. This job sounds perfect for me because I love animals so much, and it has a flexible schedule. Since I do have many animals at home, I am not able to stay over night at houses. However, I am able to stay late (11pm) and arrive early (7am) if needed. In my own home, we rotate the dogs outside every 45 minutes. We feed our animals at 7 am and 12 pm. I can adjust to any schedule recommended by the client. We work our dogs a bit different since there are so many.

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was young, grew up with more pets then I can count on both hands and they always needed attention. I am free for many hours of the day, and can take care of pets from the crack of dawn till the wee hours of night I can provide your pet with all of the usual pet care help, including walking, sitting, playing, feeding and I can help with some small grooming or bathing if needed.

About: Hi! Since before I can even remember, I have always been surrounded by animals. Growing up I was certain I’d be a veterinarian. I have handled little dogs to dogs twice my size. My family and I used to breed dogs as well. When I couldn’t have pets of my own I volunteered at the Jacksonville Humane Society and fostered puppies and kittens. Later in life, I have had the opportunity to do the same now! Although I am currently enrolled in college courses, they are all fully online so I have open availability! Being a college student, my schedule for the week is free since they’re all online! Beyond the schoolwork, your pups and cats will definitely get the love they deserve! I currently have two family dogs of my own, so I am not available for boarding, but I always do my best to ensure your animals get the best care they can even when you are away!

About: I am an active duty service member of the U.S. Navy and have been in for 6 years. I had two dogs of my own for 9 years before I enlisted, who were house trained and learned to respond to two languages, English and Spanish. They were taught tricks and were well behaved. I was responsible for the grooming and potty training. Every time I was able to come home, I would jump right back in the routine of caring for my babies. I enjoyed every minute of the caretaking process and the bond that I grew with my dogs. The one thing I miss is coming home and having them greet me at my door. Their is nothing like that love. My major pet care experience is knowing and feeling how special a pet’s love is unless you had one yourself. Some people treat pets as animals, I treat them like family.

About: Hi, I’m a young professional with several years of pet ownership experience on my own. We had multiple pets in my family since I was a child so I have lots of experience working with animals. Until recently I had my sweet and playful 70lb Pit Mix rescue baby named Tyler. Looking to help take care of someone else’s fur babies when need. I can administer medications as directed when given proper instructions. Work with helping provide strict diets required. I offer a large fenced in yard out in the country to play and run around and work out the zoomies. Can help with taking to vet or grooming appointments as needed. Look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon. Currently work a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule . But don’t have other schedules or priorities typically outside of that so will be available. I have a fenced yard, no other pets in the home. The neighbors have a sweet beagle dog. That will come for a visit if you allow for them to play.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats at boarding and daycare facilities, as well as pet sitting, bathing, and basic care for fur babies for many years! I have cared for dogs as small as a chihuahuas and as large as a Great Dane! I have also worked with dogs and even cats that tend to be nervous and a bit shy and even dogs and cats that are excited to see anyone! I try to make every animals environment safe and clean and in case of emergency I am able to de-escalate many high stress situations as well as perform CPR only if necessary! I have open availability usually, however I do have a menagerie of animals of my own, so some weekends I may be unavailable due to the care of my own fur babies! For dogs, I have a fenced in yard for dogs that may have to board with me, so they have plenty room and time to stay outside supervised! If dogs are boarding at their own home, and they have a fenced in yard, I try to make sure they have plenty of time to play supervised as well! If the owners do not have a fenced in yard I take many dogs for walks, I also have a 10 ft leash and if the owner permits I will allow them to walk around on that leash and possibly throw a ball, run around with them, or even lounge and hang out! Within the home I will keep toys (owner permitting) out and around for enrichment, also lots of affection. I try to keep their bowls clean, as well as if the dog is comfortable brushed, and clean up hair around the house! With cats I try to keep them comfortable, if there is a nervous cat i will give them some space, so that i do not cause any stress. If there is a social cat I give lots of affection to them and brush them (owner permitting)! I try to allow them to play with toys, and keep them entertained! I also keep a list of where things are and times for feeding to ensure that the owners fur babies are kept comfortable!

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life and absolutely love being around them I have also been a pet sitter for family and friends many times I currently am a stay at home mom with two little kids so I can give your pet a lot of attention with many potty breaks play times and all the lovings a pet needs I currently have a Newfoundland and a Rottweiler that loves another animals and loves playing with them I do not have a fenced in yard so your pet would need to be able to walk and go potty on a leash.

About: I have taken care of all types of animals from horses to bunnies to dogs since I was 15 years old! Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, groom and feed their pets and I built a relationship with these animals throughout my time working with these animals! It is my duty to make your pet as comfortable and safe as possible! I’m currently working every other weekend until 3pm! I am available through all weekdays and every other weekend to allow your pet to be under my care! I have a fenced in back yard with 3 friendly dogs! I have horses on my property and the pups will have supervision and will not have access to these horses!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and love spending time walking and playing with them. Many people have called on me to care for the pets. I had a dog with diabetes so I have lots of medical experience. I am completely free to take care of animals most times of the day. I do not have another job. I can work around most schedules to accommodate pets/owners needs. My dog is a member of my family, he goes with me to lots of places and loves camping. I am willing to follow whatever wants or needs the pet owner may have.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. I’ve taken care of others as well! I love animals, great at reading body language. I’m a nurse as well and feel like I can provide a safe experience for your pet. I work 3 days a week usually Fri Saturday Sunday so I’m free 4 days a week on average. I can fit about 3-4 pet care sessions a day. I have five cats of my own and two dogs in my home. Right now I am not open for boarding or pet sitting. I may be in the future
