About: I have been pet sitting for several years. I have experience with young and older dogs. I can give medicine that is needed for senior dogs, and am able to walk them with extra patience. I dont mind accidents from young and old, its part of life. I can also do cats at your house. Im happy to come and feed and change boxes at anytime. I work from home, so I can be here with any pets, or make breaks to go to your house to check on your pets. I am available all day on weekends, minus the usual errands or church. I have a newer privacy fence at my home. I use baby gates at all entrances of my rooms to prevent pets from going in there if I am not in that space. I have an older home with no issue of accidents. I have a car and truck an am able to take pets for rides or travel back and forth to your home. I have several leashes if needed and I have a large crate for crating. I love to reward with snuggles and treats, so i always have treats on hand.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life and have always loved their company. At a young age I wanted to be a veterinarian so I can learn more of animals. Even though I did not take that route in my education I still have taken care of many pets with disregards to age range or personality. Coming from someone who has experience with a pet with an illness I know how important it is to insure their health and safety. I am solely focused on their need of comfort and safety in my care . I believe open communication and direction for the care of your loved ones is very important in this role. I currently work a full-time job so my availability is not as open. I am currently open on weekends and the occasional weekdays, I will try my best to align with yours and your pets schedule. I intend to keep the best environment of safety and enjoyment wherever it may be. I will work to keep the peace and chaos in a healthy balance, whatever your pet will need.

About: Hey ya'll! Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I have taken care of animals since I was a little kid. My aunt always had a lot of animals, especially dogs, when I was growing up. Over the years, I have dog sat for family friends as well. It is my dream job to work as a vet tech, but for now I would love to help out those in need around me! I have 2 dogs of my own that are part of our little family. I have experience training puppies (basic commands/using potty) and am in fact currently training our 3 mo old Aussie mix. I do have a small child so I will only accept clients with child friendly fur babies. I will update you while they are in my care as frequently as you'd like. I am also willing to help anyone who may be on a budget and possibly can't afford my rates, or maybe are in a temporary bind. I also accept bookings off of Rover. I'm a stay at home mom who is great at multitasking, between taking care of our children and animals, I am a reliable care taker! My dog is an inside/ outside dog. She is free to run around outside in our backyard as she wishes. They also sleep inside at night. We have .7 acres but we only have a small fenced off section for the dogs until we can fence our entire property. As for caring for your pets, I will follow your instructions/ wishes to a T as long as I know what they are. I will always disinfect the floors/crates/etc between clients.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life !! I currently have two dogs of my own as well. I do some dog training. Sit, stay, lay, shake, crate training, and potty training. I work full time however I get two breaks and only work Monday-Thursday. I work from 8-5 and take a break at 1130 and 2:30. I live in a house and have a closed in fence. I take my dogs for a walk or run every day and will play fetch or tug of war with them in the yard. The dogs get lots of outside time and my girls love having new friends to play with! A kennel is not required but I do ask if you have one to bring it. Since we have our own dogs and also board more than one dog we put them up in the kennel when going to sleep at night.

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and taken care of many pets of my friends or people in my hometown. I was consistently walking dogs this past summer. I have also taken care of dogs with medical needs. I have class for a few hours Monday through Thursday. Only one class per day so a pet won’t be alone for long at all. I frequently walk and run so a pet to join would be so fun. I am available really any time to take care of or hang out with a a pet. I am able to walk and run pets often. I can care for pets with medical needs. I don’t have a year but I can take the pets outside on a leash or an enclosed designated pet area. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and genuinely love caring for animals. I currently have two friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own and have cared for multiple dogs throughout my life. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, and I believe they deserve patience, attention, and lots of affection while their owners are away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether your pup loves to play outside, go for walks, or simply relax and get belly rubs, I’ll make sure they feel at home. I have a spacious, secure fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, and they’ll be treated like part of the family while they’re in my care. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Because I live in a quiet country setting with a large fenced yard, many dogs enjoy a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of room to explore and play. I offer flexible availability seven days a week and do my best to accommodate my clients’ schedules, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays whenever possible. Whether you need care for a planned vacation, a last-minute trip, or regular pet care, I’m committed to providing dependable, reliable service. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my priority, and I’ll work with you to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I strive to provide a calm, loving, and stress-free environment where they feel safe, secure, and part of the family. I understand how important routines are, so I’ll carefully follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special care they may need. In my home, your dog will enjoy a clean, comfortable environment with access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. My home is equipped with a doggie door, allowing dogs to move freely between the house and my securely fenced yard at their own pace throughout the day. Whether they want to relax indoors, enjoy the sunshine, or stretch their legs outside, they can do so comfortably and safely. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your home and your pet with the same respect, care, and attention I give my own. I know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and communication to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention.

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for animals for over 16 years and have five dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I have experience with high-drive dogs, multiple-dog households, and I’m very familiar with canine body language and behavior. I also have livestock experience, which has helped me develop strong animal awareness and handling skills. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every dog like my own — your pup will be safe, happy, and well cared for with me! Pet care is already a central part of my everyday life. I care for my own dogs daily, including walks, feeding routines, enrichment, and monitoring their health and behavior, so providing attentive care comes naturally to me. I intentionally structure my schedule around the animals I’m responsible for to make sure they receive the time, exercise, and attention they deserve. I’m dependable, flexible, and committed to giving every pet consistent, quality care while keeping owners updated and reassured. I live on 160 acres in Luther Oklahoma. I have 5 other dogs and 2 cats along with 30 head of cattle. We have 3 ponds ( clean to swim in ) and 2 fenced in pens. I do have 2 large crates, a medium and a small crate along as a yard outside that has attached inside kennel.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Kendrick. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Kendrick after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
