About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my crates or bring your own. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.

About: Growing up we always had dogs! From German shepherds to doodles, I’ve had experience in caring for a variety of breeds. I have a 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy, who I’ve taught general commands to, crate trained, potty trained, and manners. I’d love to help you in caring for your fur babies! I offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times, transportation to and from my home if needed. If approved by owner, visits to the park on leashes will be offered. My husband and I recently moved to the Fort Wayne area. I am currently not working and have wide open availability! I can be flexible to accommodate existing routines and schedules for pet care and or house sitting. I have 3 acres of open land for dogs to run. All outside visits whether it’s play time or potty breaks are supervised. Animals are kept on a routine or schedule, as I think this helps reinforce good behavior. My 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy is crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight. I have experienced in dog training as well.

About: I was born with the yearn to care for animals built into my core. The day I turned 16 I got my first job in a kennel, caring for dogs boarded there on the weekends and after school. Once I turned 18 I began volunteering at my local shelter, fostering sick and injured animals, bottle feeding kittens, training puppies, and finally making the difference I dreamed of growing up. I was eventually hired and employed by the shelter and trained in many different elements. Feeding, grooming, administrating medications, behavior classes, training, and general overall daily care. I have been fear free certified twice. I was since promoted to a veterinary assistant in 2022 where I’ve thrived working in the medical side of animal care the last few years. There I have gained many lifesaving skills as long as senior care skills to add to my belt. I have most recently had a baby so I’m looking to continue caring for animals in a way that better fits my current life. I’d also love nothing more than to raise my child teaching her to show animals compassion and care! 💜 I am currently staying home with my daughter so as long as you don’t mind she tags along, my availability is wide open! (She is an infant so remains in her carrier) Your pets will be treated like family whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine. About: Hey, their fellow pet parents! I welcome all creatures to my side, I have cared for all types of animals. I was raised with dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, goats, and ducks. Both of my parents are breeders while my dad has havanese and my mom has poodles I love caring for our pups of all ages and sending them to their forever homes! I have raised over 15 litters of pups so I have a great amount of experience around them. I have also injected and given oral medication, so I am very comfortable working with dogs of different medical histories.I am happy to accommodate any special requests when caring for your animal(s). I will even take your dog on car rides to multiple different parks as we run / jog while playing with sticks. I am available most days and hours, even overnight. I am new to the area after moving closer to family and looking for my next opportunity. I prefer to take dogs out once an hour during the day. I stick to any schedules and am happy to use your toys or toss around one of the many tennis balls I travel with. fetch tug of war and running are an option as well.
