1. Hakan C.
“Worried about taking trips to the mainland and leaving your pets behind? Don’t, Hakan is the best pet and house sitter you could ask for. We have a terror of a chihuahua and an indoor cat and he managed them perfectly for over a week. We’ve had bad experiences with pet sitters before but you won’t have to worry about that with Hakan. He’s honest and dependable. Worried your sitter won’t answer the phone or reply to messages for days? That won’t be the case here, he always responded in a timely manner and he always kept us updated on how things were going. I would strongly recommend Hakan for all your pet and house sitting needs.”

2. Diana S.

“My family and I decided on a last minute trip and booked a house sitting gig with Diana. We have two dogs and a cat, and as a first time Rover user I was hesitant to have a stranger look after everything. I couldn’t be happier with who I found. She was incredibly kind and attentive to our fur babies’ needs every step of the way. You could tell she loves what she does. She even met us the day before to get acquainted with the animals and listen to me ramble about where she should start (I’m a bit of a control freak). To top it all off, she left the animals a care package! Diana is all aces!”

3. Cat N.

“Cat was an awesome pet/house sitter for us! She’ll take care of your pets as if they were her own.”

4. Sonya W.

“Sonya is an excellent house and pet sitter. Professional and devoted to her task at hand. This is her career choice and has no other work distractions. As new clients, she made two visits with us before the short stay. Stayed with our two high energy Irish Setters in our home. One has special needs that she handled very well. Tried various methods until she succeeded with where we sometimes cannot. She thought it was important to be with them the entire time and being sure they got what they needed including love and fun. It was also a rainy time which as pet owners know is extra challenging. She has a lot of experience and was insightful working with the dogs and knowing what they need. Best experience we've had with a care giver for our dogs and look forward to the next time she is available when we can get away. On top of all that, Sonya is very tidy, and kept in touch with pictures and messages during the stay. Highest marks and recommendations.”

5. Clare T.

“Clare was so communicative, respectful and my dogs seemed to have absolutely love her! She had only really good things to say about my dogs and that’s always so good to hear, thank you Clare!!!”

7. Ares Rica-Ann G.
About: Apart from having my own 4 year old Shiba (Kuma), I’ve grown up around tons of dogs. My mom has a german shepherd and a black lab! I used to volunteer at the Humane Society when I was in high school and I even got to foster my own! With having Kuma, my roommate has two cats that i’m absolutely in love with! As a college student, i’m majoring in Biology and i love learning about animals. I can’t wait to meet your dog! Since i’m in college, I have a pretty set schedule as of right now. I’m available all day on the weekends (including friday) and monday and wednesday after 5pm. On tuesdays and thursdays, i’m off around 7pm. Hopefully this isn’t confusing but i’m available most of the days, and all of the days in the evening. I think it’s very important for a dog to get their sunlight and exercise in so i’m happy to take them to a park or walk around the block or even just play with them in the backyard/home! I’m pretty good with routines and pick up on things quickly. I’m good with cleaning up after your pet, whether it’s their poop/pee of just making a mess. Whatever you need me to do, i’m glad to do it!

“My dogs love Ariana, sometimes I think more than me! Lol I trust her with my 2 baby boys more than anyone I know, including my family! She is the best dog sitter I know. It makes me feel safe to know that my dogs love her and they are happy when I am away.”

13. Erma R.
“Erma is a Jem! From the time my dogs walked in the door they loved her. Her over the top demeanor of care and kindness shows in how she presents herself. I could tell that the dogs had been well cared for by the quiet way they were when I returned! I highly recommend her. She won’t let you down.”

14. Jack Y.

“Jack did great. Our dogs really loved him and we will definitely book again!”

15. Bernice M.
“Bailey, our Yorkie, has separation anxiety and does not care to be around other dogs or young children. So when we interviewed Bernice and learned that her landlord doesn't allow her to have pets, but she loves animals, I had to meet her. We scheduled several four-hour visits, and after seeing that Bailey enjoyed being with her, we left for a 10-day trip to Japan. Bernice kept us updated with text and pictures. Best of all, she spoiled him by letting him sleep in her bed at night. During the day, she took him for walks at the same times to keep the continuity of his schedule. She works from home, so Bernice is your answer if your dog has separation anxiety. I think her calm demeanor and loving attention made Bailey feel comfortable, and that, in turn, made my husband and I relieved to leave him for the first time. If you prefer a calmer one-on-one home environment with an extremely caring and responsible sitter, I highly recommend Bernice.”

16. Eric B.

“I have known Eric all of his life, he is my son. We had three dogs when he was born and always had dogs in the house as Eric grew up. He loves and respects all animals and especially dogs. I have left my dogs in his care on many occasions and he is meticulous in keeping their routines intact, playing with them, and caring for all of their needs. He is honest and reliable and would be a fine addition to your business.”

17. Elissa C.

“Elissa took great care of our cats and our house while we were away. She sent pictures”

19. Jennifer M.
“Jen took care of my two dogs while I had to go off island. They were walked regularly and well loved. She is a completely trustworthy lady that should be your first call. Ten stars!!”

20. Lauren R.

“Lauren was amazing! She was able to help us out very last minute. Took the time out of her day to chat with us beforehand and we immediately felt comfortable with her for our little guys!
