I have a section of the house for cats, and one for dogs. The cats have access to the dog room, but can easily be cut off from entrance. My home, and habits, are very safe and organized. I work and network with my husband and family. There is always someone available! All animals are considered family to us! Please take special note that when booking for you animal companions to stay at our home, we are not a boarding center, we are a personal home setting. In order to ensure the best success with this arrangement, a visit to your home where your dog is comfortable and not stressed is required before visiting our place of residence. This gives us important insight on your animals natural behaviors to ensure the best action/sitting experience not only for us - but especially for your animals. I have plenty of time for your pups and their specific needs/routines. We cater to every animal as if they were our own, and understand each one is special and different. We have a double fenced yard, with lots of open space indoors and out. Extra crates and or farm house furniture for your pets needs.

I have experience with dog medications, wound car, injections, tick removal. I work from home and am very attentive to dogs and ensuring they are well cared for. I regularly take dogs to the beach which is 1/2 a mile away and they run and play. I have two friendly dogs and a large, but unfenced, yard. Dogs have free reign in the house and can use the furniture and beds.

About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life—caring for them isn’t just second nature, it’s something I truly love. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I’ve spent years helping out neighbors by watching their pets while they were away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just being a calm and comforting presence, I bring attentiveness and compassion to every pet I care for. Recently, I lost my soul dog, and while I’m not quite ready to adopt again, spending time with other people’s pets fills my heart in a way that’s hard to describe. About: I’ve worked with cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have a wide range of experience from working for an amazing rescue called Canine Connections and personal experience. Canine Connections rescue is a program within the Washington state juvenile institution that teaches the juvenile residents how to care for and work with cats and dogs. I was an employee and ran this program within the juvenile institution. We would take in puppies/dogs from local humane societies to train them generalized life skills, walking skills, and take complete care of multiple dogs at one time. We worked with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and breeds so during the training it was important to determine target behavior that the individual dogs would need to succeed in their future furever home. The puppies/dogs would be posted for adoption once they’ve gone through the program and training. I have experience with all types of handling equipment (front/back harnesses, gentle leader, prong, etc.), walking skills/basic obedience training, and the everyday care of dogs who are timid with people and/or other animals to very excited and distracted dogs. We trained dogs with positive reinforcement, which includes a lot of patience and treats, and taking the time to learn what the dogs strengths and weaknesses are to be successful. We also had a program that socialized and cared for cats and kittens while they waited to be adopted. I realized that I have a passion for working with animals, and I would love to continue in this field since I recently moved to this area for my new chapter in life. My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! I enjoy furry toddlers as much as I do my human children. I own a crate for those that are shy, and need security. Tons of toys, and I have a long lead which allows a dog (or cat) their freedom while still being leashed which is perfect for recall training as well as frolicking in the yard behind my apartment. I'll need to know if any client is sensitive around small children, as I have an infant. Animals must be up to date on vaccines, and rabies. Not open to intact pets over 2 years old.

About: I’ve always enjoyed taking care of animals … most of my experience comes from dogs … I have worked around a lot of huskies . I used to help give dog sled tours to cruise ship tourists in Alaska. I have experience w older dogs that have been my own … So my house address says seaside Oregon . However , im a traveling nurse aid that works in nursing homes…. I work in Vancouver, and centralia mostly right now ..
