“Robert was great with my dogs. They had a nice place to sleep and play. I think they thought they were on vacation. He was very thoughtful about making the dogs feel at home. Will definitely bring them back again!”

“Perfect stay! Perfect environment for the boys and let Bentley cuddle for naps which he loves to do. Got lots of adorable videos and even dropped them off at the end. Best experience we’ve had in years on this site :)”

“Andre and McKenzie were fantastic to work with. We have a senior pup with extra special needs around feedings. They were attentive and caring, even asking to have a video tutorial of his feeding prior to booking with us. It’s clear how much they care and it meant the world to know our special needs guys was in great hands. They were highly responsive and provided lots of photo and text updates. Couldn’t recommend more highly!”

“Lorri did a wonderful job with Dunkin’s stay. Very reliable, responsive, and great with pets. Dunkin came home happy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a great sitter.”

“I boarded my dog Hamilton for the first time with Emily and he did so well! He came home happy and exhausted and I’m so grateful. I was nervous as he is a very shy boy and I felt like he was in really good hands! Would highly recommend!”

“Jamie and her family were wonderful! Milo had such a great time, we knew he was sad to leave. Jamie sent us tons of videos and photos during the stay so it was nice being able to see how much fun our little guy was having! Also she was extremely accommodating with drop off and pick up times, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend Jamie and we will definitely use her again in the future when we make trips down to the South Bay!”

“Todd was exceptional in taking care of our Ava! He made sure she was comfortable in his home prior to the booking and answered any questions we had promptly. He is very communicative as well and provided us plenty of pictures and updates while we were away. We're very thankful for Todd and would recommend him to anyone seeking pet-boarding services.”

“Cynthia was absolutely amazing with Eddie! She was very communicative and made me feel very at ease with the drop off and pick ups. I recommend her for boarding and I'll be booking again I'm the future!”

“Steve did an awesome job in taking care of my Golden Retriever, Blue, for the 4-day boarding. He helped Blue adapt smoothly to the new environment. The daily picture and text message update is really helpful and gave me a joy each day.”

“My little doggie couldn't have been in better hands than with Katie. My pup is a very nervous, frighten little thing with strangers but Katie, Mat, and Finn brought her out of her shell. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Brandi was amazing! Our dogs stayed with her for a week and were very well taken care of. She kept us updated with pictures and a check in each day. In every picture, our dogs looked so happy! Brandi handled our dog’s medication and their little quirks with ease. Drop off and pick up were easy. She really went above and beyond!”

“Gloria was AMAZING! My pup can take a little bit of time to warm up to people, but right away she loved Gloria’s energy and so did I. Gloria is knowledgeable and confident in her care for animals and does a wonderful job at providing a welcoming and calm space. I’m already planning more trips and feel so relieved knowing I have someone who will take such good care of my pup while I’m away.”

“Morgan is absolutely phenomenal. She took such good care of our pup and really made him feel welcomed! She was great with making sure he got what he needed and was very comforting when he would get nervous. Highly, highly recommend!!”

“Daniel was a knight in shining armor for our family. Our original sitter had a family emergency and we had a flight to catch. Daniel was accommodating and made my pup feel at home with lots of walks and belly rubs. Daniel and his family will definitely be our go to for pet sitting!”

“Highly recommend! Our dog had a great time at their home. Aundrea sent frequent updates, including video and pictures which really helped us feel at ease. We could see that he was really enjoying himself with their family and staying very active, playing and going for walks.”

About: I grew up with a love of animals. We had 7 dogs, 4 cats and many small caged animals as well. Starting at about 10 years old I was responsible for feeding and cleaning up after our pets. My kids have been around animals their whole lives as well and have a special love for dogs. We have a medium sized labradoodle named Honey. She is spayed and loves playing with other dogs. I dog sit for my friends and family pups. Now I'd like to help more people have a place they feel safe and comfortable leaving their pets. I am home all day aside from dropping off and picking up my kids from school. So I have plenty of time to tend to your fur-babies! I have a fenced yard and a playful gentle dog to keep yours entertained. I always keep mine on a leash when going on walks and will do the same for yours. I can accommodate any special requests and routines you may have. I understand that your dog is a part of your family. So I will do everything I can for you to feel comfortable leaving them in our care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Keasey home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Keasey.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Keasey sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
