About: My name is Emiko, I’ve been living on Maui for awhile now but new to Rover. I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr (after the wind in The Odyssey bc he runs like the wind), and grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. Especially if they come with baggage or little quirks (Zephyr is a rescue) or they need extra care like medication, etc. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own—feeding, walking, playing, following any other additional instructions and giving them lots of love to feel safe and happy 🤍 I am currently phasing out of my part time job that is three days a week to working remotely from home full time. Currently on the days I work, I will only be available for drop ins early morning by 8AM or after work at 7 PM Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure your pet feels secure and loved at all times. I’m attentive to their body language and needs, and I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I work full time on Sunday-Tuesday. So I cannot work those days. The other days I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. I live right next to a park and the beach so it’s very easy to take dogs for a walk. If I am staying at a clients place I have a truck to take the dog to a dog park if there isn't one nearby.

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I have looked after many diverse pets for friends, family, and clients on a regular basis for as long as I can remember. I pride myself on being responsible and adherent to your rules and preferences. I will treat your pets like family! I am not new to pet-sitting, but I am very new to Rover! I am a substitute teacher, so my best availability is on weekends, but I am happy to arrange services for after school as well. Notes on housesitting: if your dog cannot go 6-7 hours without a potty break while I am in school, you would need to hire an additional dog walker for either late morning or noon(ish). I can specify in advance which days I would be teaching! While I cannot bring your pets into my own home space or car, I am happy to come to you and treat your home space with the utmost respect. If you would like me to take your pet for outings during housesitting services, it would need to be in one of your own vehicles.

About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. About: I started off at a large animal vet hospital as a teen and since then I have taken care of coworkers' and friends dogs, even my chiropractor. I'm a school counselor so I'm only available afternoons and weekends. More during the summer months and holidays. Flexible on time and schedule, especially for feedings. I only offer in home care as I am not allowed to have pets at my own place. Preferably, I would like to remain outside of the home when coming to pick up your baby but it is not necessary.
