About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I have a canine first aid training and 13 years of experience working at boarding kennels and agility competitions. Dog walking and canicross competition. . Recently we removed our old swimming pool so now there is even more space for the animals to run. Your pet will be always supervised. If your pet stays at my house you need to provide their food. I would also recommend to bring their blanket or a favourite toy to help with the transition. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate please bring your crate too or let me know ahead so I can make sure my crate is available. I can provide treats, blankets, bowls and toys. All pets sleep inside the home.

About: Hi! Just moved to Highland and I work remote. I am able to work from anywhere as long as you have WiFi. I’m looking to make a little extra cash on the side. I grew up with a lab and a pit bull so taking responsible of pets is nothing new to me. I enjoy getting out to exercise and later cuddling up with the dogs! Not having one of my own is rough right now so what better way to hang with man’s best friend and get paid for it by creating a profile on Rover :) Whether it’s my place or yours I’m here to help look after your fur child while you are busy or on vacation. Overnight as well. Feel free to reach out at anytime! I have plenty of references if you need them. Breakfast and walk in the morning. Hangout during the daily while I work at my desk. About: I’ve always grown up around dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and etc. A dog is more than just an animal, they are a part of the family. Im a dental assistant and love helping people achieve the confidence to smile again. Im 22 years old and still live with my parents so this is a great side hustle to save money to move out eventually. At home we have a basset hound named Maggie that’s three years old, an Australian Shepard named Ranger that is also three years old, a Yorkie Shih Tzu named Trixie that is about 15 years old (yeah I know she’s basically deaf and blind but old girl is still kicking it), and then two cats that we rescued on the side of the road named Stormi & Klondike! I also have chickens & ducks! Let me dogsit your fur baby 🥰 I’m currently working at a private dental office located in Staunton, IL Monday-Thursday. Usually when I dog sit for a family friend or just anyone in general I stay at their house with the dog(s) so they feel comfortable in their own environment. My work hours are as followed; Monday & Thursday: 7-4pm (lunch 12-1pm) Tuesday 8-6pm (lunch 1-2 or 2-3pm) and Wednesday 7-1pm. I am a reliable and a caring person to watch your fur babies! I usually stay at the clients house so the pet is in a familiar environment and won’t get over stimulated. Every dog is different and so I usually meet the clients and/or the dog(s) so they are somewhat familiar with me and aren’t frightened by a stranger while their loved ones are away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, high-energy pups, leash pullers, shy seniors, and everything in between. I worked at a boarding facility where I was trained to administer medication to cats and dogs, and watch for signs of serious illness such as bloat. I also house and pet sit regularly for family friends as well as take care of my Sheepadoodle and two cats at home. 🖤🤍 Your pet will be in loving and capable hands with me! 💞🐾 (P.S. I love animal photography! so expect lots of pictures of your pet 😉) I currently work part time with just four hour shifts so your fur baby would not have to be alone for long! I'll be plenty available to spend time with your pet and keep them safe and happy! I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs including feeding, walking, playtime, medications, and plenty of belly rubs included! I keep routines consistent to reduce stress and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and comfort. I also monitor for any signs of illness or distress and communicate updates so you always know your pet is in good hands. I have plenty of experience with all types of dogs and know what's best for your pet to keep them safe and happy!

About: I have a 9 year old English bulldog so I am very familiar with specials needs animals. I understand allergies, food sensitivities and medications. I also have a 6 year old lab who is still very much a puppy and enjoys her play time! I am a full time stay at home dog mom just looking to meet some new babies and make some money on the side. I travel full time with my hubby so this would be a great way for me to get out and socialize. I never let my own dogs out of my sight when we are outside so I will do the same with your babies. I am very observant and attentive. I also believe that if your dog doesn’t like someone then you probably shouldn’t either.

About: I have been dog sitting and caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I have a huge passion for animals and have been volunteering at my local humane society for the past few years. I have animals of my own and am actually about to add a new puppy to my pet family! I am willing to walk, bathe, and feed your animals and make sure they get the care they need while you’re away! I am actually a full time college student and am looking to give pet care in between my classes during the week. I would be available on T/Th all day. On M/W/F I am available anytime after 12pm to come care for your pets. I am looking to be doing home visits rather than dog boarding because I am currently living in an apartment and do not have the space needed to provide quality care for your pets. I am willing to do drop in visits and in the past am used to doing that type of care for my clients.

About: I have had several dogs ever since I was young, and I continue to care for my two dogs when I return home from university. I am in charge of feeding them, taking them outside, and bathing them, when necessary. I am tentatively planning to reapply for my summer retail job, so my schedule may vary. My summer break will begin soon, so I will not be working immediately, so I will have plenty of time every day for pet care. My family has a fenced yard with plenty of space for a dog to run around. We also have two Labrador retrievers who love to play with other dogs.

“Amanda was great. Very friendly, responsible, and responsive. We had her come walk our large labradoodle several days during the week. It was nice to meet with her prior to the walks. Would definitely recommend her!”

About: I grew up on a horse farm and have been an animal lover all of my life. I have raised dogs, cats, horses, sheep and even ferrets. I have a lot of experience with high energy and large dog breeds (owning two Australian Shepherds myself). Pets love my bubbly and caring personality. I promise to treat your pet(s) as if they were my own. I take pet care and pet ownership very seriously. Leaving a pet can cause stress for both the owner and the pet. Let me be the person you can rely on to take the upmost care of your furry friend while you are away. I am very flexible with my availability and feel free to PM me with any questions you have before booking. Thank you :) I work full time (9-5) as a lab supervisor in St Charles, MO. I do have about an hour commute both ways so M-F will be the most time your pup would have to wait for a potty break. Otherwise I’m an absolute homebody and love to spend time with my own pets and meet new ones! We have an open 2 acre yard complete with a leashed dog run. We can easily accommodate a crate trained pup as well. I have a super friendly Aussie and a cat who would keep your pets company during the work week.

About: I have a natural instinct of care and admiration for all animals! What sets me apart from other sitters is is the level of care, attention, and genuine love I bring to every animal I look after. I have four pets of my own, 2 dogs (Marley & Thunder) and 2 cats (Bear & Sassy), and I love them with all my heart. I have all the time in the world! I am a college student home for the summer, so I am available any time needed. Any times ranging from 7am-9pm. Depending on the day, I will accommodate to your pets schedule! I would supply for them everything they needed, whether that be food, water, medication, or just simple play time! I would assist in their exercise such as walks/runs, etc.

“Kelly was amazing. She communicated with me before she dog sat and every day while taking care of them and even sent pictures. One of my dogs is a husky and he can be a lot to handle but she did great with him and was even great at giving my elder dog her meds. I was actually able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dogs at home were being taken care of and in good hands.”

“Nikki has been a large part of my father's dog's life, Sophie. Sophie has been an energetic and loving dog her entire 9 years, so it's difficult to keep up with her. Nikki has always been going above and beyond to help take care of Sophie for my father. Whether it's multiple feedings, sleeping with Sophie during bad weather or when the pup is sick, or going for daily long walks to help Sophie blow off some puppy energy. Along with her excellent dog care, Nikki has always been a magnificent individual. She is very social and always willing to go the extra mile for anyone.”
