About: Update 07/28/25: I am blessed to have a flexible job that will let me be fully remote during house sitting bookings if your dog(s) need someone home all day. During longer bookings I do periodically pop home to see my husband and own dog and on those days may be out of your home 1-2 hours. I am offering doggy drop in visits on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I do not have any drop in visit availability on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I can easily do drop in visits in between the 11-1 timeframe ideally and if your dog(s) need more than 1 per day, I have evening availability 4p-10:30p. Update 6/20/23: My goal is to keep my rates reasonable, as dog care and sitting is a passion and true love of mine. Ensuring your pets’ safety and wellbeing while you are unavailable should not cost outrageous fees. I have many years of experience on and off Rover, but due to a technical issue with Rover, I had to make a new page and lost my past reviews. I do hope you’ll book with me and help me get those re-established! I’ve had dogs in my house since I was a baby. I grew up with German Shepherds and shih tzus. In 2013 I started fostering dogs for a non profit no kill shelter and truly found my passion. I fostered 33 dogs before I finally foster failed myself! Fostering taught me how to care for dogs on medication, post surgical dogs, shy and fearful types, as well as senior citizens and special needs dogs. Most of my foster favorites were special needs including blind dogs and amputee dogs. I have experience with puppies of all ages and breeds. No breed preferences here. I welcome regular/ongoing clients. I will be available to spend most time at your residence if you book me for house sitting. Your baby or babies will be my first priority! I will be in your residence for the majority of your booking. I will follow your instructions on how to best care for your pet and follow their daily routine.

“Jennifer is such an animal loving person and very quickly got to know my dog prior to a pet sitting opportunity. 10/5 rating because her warmth and love around animals was instant from the moment she entered our home.”

About: We love dogs in our house. We've had 3 dogs of different sizes at one time. I loved going for bike rides with my Husky and my Border Terrier. Now we have a small Border Terrier named Indy. I love training dogs to do tricks, and just cuddling up in bed or the couch. Your dog friend will be have a blast with us and get all the love. I particularly like large dogs and I don't mind them jumping on me when they're excited, they just think they're little in their heads. My kids, of course, like the little ones and are always ready to play and be gentle with the little guys. Your dog will be just one more family member to us. I work from home, and I can take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, potty breaks. I rarely spend more than a couple of hours out of the house if I do go out. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets feel safe and cared for. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding, exercise, medications, and enrichment. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure the space is pet-proofed, monitored, and filled with love and positive attention. I believe in earning your pet’s trust through patience and consistency, and I always treat them like part of the family.
