“I was looking for a daycare option for my corgi to get used to bigger dogs again after a bad experience with a loose dog. Brasilio gladly did a meet and greet with us and brought his Husky to meet Tucker. He was very laid back with Tucker and very comfortable giving him a chance to get acclimated to his dog. Tucker responded very well so I felt like he’d be in good hands w/ Brasilio. He was also very accommodating when he needed to stay overnight when I had a schedule change and wanted to just pick him up the next day. Tucker has been doing MUCH better with new dog friends thanks to Brasilio!”

“We were visiting LA and required a last minute sitter due to the hot weather. Edwin and his family were quick to respond and accepted Java last minute! Edwin and his family were so great! We got the updates that we wanted throughout the day and Java looked like she was having fun. Java was spoiled during her stay and even received some homemade dinner. We would definitely recommend you leave your pet with them and we would if we are back in the area.”

“Had to go into work last minute on my day off and Caroline accepted my last minute request. Glad she was available as she is a great sitter and cares for my fur-baby very well.”

“The house is so clean and well set up and the owner really loves the dogs she looks after. Thoroughly recommend Shahane and family for day care and drop offs. They are very flexible with time as well!”

“Bernadette took great care of Wensley. He seemed really content when I picked him up, and I appreciated her flexibility as far as drop off time. She's a great communicator and kept me posted with pictures. I will definitely be using Bernadette again for Wensley's future doggy daycare needs. Also, he loved the extra little doggy treats Bernadette had made. Such a great little surprise.”

About: I treat every dog like family not just a job. With hands on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, I understand that every pup has their own needs, routines, and quirks. What truly sets me apart is my attention to detail, calm energy, and deep commitment to making pets feel safe, loved, and at home even when their humans are away. Pet care is woven into my everyday life it’s not a task, it’s a lifestyle. I have a fenced yard, which means dogs in my care get safe, outdoor playtime as part of their daily routine. I also have pets of my own, so I fully understand the love, attention, and structure they need to feel happy and secure. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and be themselves. With a fenced yard, pets get secure outdoor time for play and potty breaks. I follow each pet’s routine closely whether it’s feeding, walks, meds, or bedtime rituals and make sure they get plenty of love and attention, just like my own pets do. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I’m respectful, reliable, and detail-oriented. I stick to your routines to keep your pet comfortable and stress free while you’re away. From playtime and feeding to administering medication or sending updates and photos, I care for every pet as if they were my own and treat your home with the same level of respect.

About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.

“This was my first time using Matthew as a sitter and I would definitely use his service again. First off he is nice and polite and he took good care of my dog. He sent me a lot of pictures of my dog having fun throughout the day. Overall very happy with his service.”

About: Hello! My name is Jen, and I share this Rover account with my partner, Jamie. He also has his own Rover account if you’d like to check his references. We work together on all Rover jobs, so if you book with us, both of us will attend the meet and greet. We believe having both of us present is beneficial, especially if your pet needs round-the-clock care. I hold a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and have experience as an animal trainer. Previously, I worked at the Animal Actors show at Universal Studios, where I cared for over 40 dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as many cats. I also have experience working in vet clinics and am skilled in administering medication. My true passion lies in wildlife conservation, and I recently completed a master's degree in Conservation Wildlife at Miami University. Currently, I work at the Los Angeles Zoo, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the well-being of animals worldwide. Note: Our pricing is negotiable. If you have a pet that is particularly easy to care for, or if your pet has special needs, we can discuss the details and adjust the pricing accordingly. Feel free to reach out so we can find a solution that works for both you and your pet. We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet and care for your pet! I work full time S-Wed. Jamie works gigs in the evenings or nighttime as needed. We live together in a house with a yard if you do decide to do a boarding with us. If you decide to do a sitting we both stay at the house. He is also on Rover, please ask for a link to his profile if interested. We have a large house with fenced yard. I can crate the dogs if that is something that is preferred, and I am a professional animal trainer. Someone will be with your pet 24/7. We have a dog small/medium size dog in the house named Emmy, as well as a small dog named Ramon. Therefore for boardings your dogs must get along with others.

About: I'm a cat and dog owner myself, my fur baby is 7 years old. I rescued him from the pound when he was 3 months old (it was love at first sight for me) and a 3-year-old lab/retriever. I rescued him, and he's amazing. I will take care of your fur baby like it's mine. I work remotely, so I am home all day and night. I only step out too go to the gym, and to take and pick up my daughter from school. I have a big house, so your pet will have plenty of space to run around in and friendly pets to play with and have fun.

About: I’ve been a proud owner of 4 amazing dogs, including my current companion, Luca. Over the years, I’ve cared for Judge, a German Shepherd/Husky mix, Yako, a Rottweiler/Doberman, and Nina, a Doberman. I’m comfortable with every breed and believe all dogs deserve to be treated like family. With a background in handling larger breeds, I don’t buy into the stigma around “aggressive dogs”—every dog is unique and just needs the right care and attention. I have a natural way with high-energy dogs and love to keep them active, happy, and busy. I’m outgoing, bubbly, and caring, and your dog’s happiness will always be my top priority. Rest easy knowing that your beautiful pet will be in loving hands and might even pick up a few new tricks! If you’re looking for a fellow dog lover who will give all the attention your furry friend deserves, without juggling multiple dogs at once, I’m your girl! I work from home in the Valley, so I’m here throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention and care. With a spacious, fenced backyard, they’ll have room to play and explore safely. I also have a car, making it easy for us to take trips to local parks or handle any last-minute needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine, allowing me to keep a close eye on your pup and ensure they’re happy and comfortable from morning to night. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming space where pets feel at ease. My fenced backyard offers plenty of secure space for play, so your dog can roam freely without worry. Inside, I set up cozy areas for rest, away from any hazards, and always keep a close eye on them to ensure they’re safe. For visits to your home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s routine and environment, creating a familiar, stress-free experience. I follow any special instructions you provide and keep my communication open, so you know your pet is in good hands. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet with the same love and care as my own.

About: We had all sorts of animals while I was growing up, including cats and dogs. We started with cats and two beagles, and after the beagles' passing, we adopted the sweetest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle) on the planet! Long story short, after my sister and I moved out, my parents ended up with two more dogs and trusted only one person (other than my sister) to look after all three dogs when they (my folks) would go on trips: me. We continued to have cats and other animals during that time. My parents are down to two dogs now, but that's been one of my jobs for the last several years, in addition to looking after friends' dogs. I've also volunteered at a couple of shelters as a cat socializer and cat/kitten foster parent. During that time, I completed a "Fear Free Shelter" course and understand the signs of distressed dogs and cats and how to reduce their stress (one spoiler: classical music for dogs). I also recently became certified in canine and feline first aid/CPR. Anyway, I love doing drop-in visits and dog walking and am happy to offer my home as a daycare. I love seeing animals in the comfort of their own homes and letting dogs explore my backyard. I'm currently funemployed, so I have time to do drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy daycare most days. Dogs staying with me for the day would have access to our fenced backyard. If you need only dog-walking or drop-in sittings, then I can usually start after 10a. For doggy daycare, I’ll be sure to provide the stability and boundaries your fur baby needs. Your dog is welcome on the couch during the day, and we have a heated and air conditioned home during the hot and cold months. If I'm in your home, such as for drop-in visits, I'll use Rover Cards to let you know when I arrive, document how things went while I was there (with photos), and let you know when I head out. It would also help me tremendously if you could provide written instructions on Rover ahead of time. My goal is to provide all of the comfort your honey needs while you’re away. (I've been that anxious pet guardian myself, so I get it!)

“I used to have a small West Highland White Terrier named Horchata while I rented a room in one of Robert’s properties a few years ago and he was always happy to take care of her while I was gone. He saw that Horchata got her exercise and made sure she felt loved by playing ball with her while I was out of town. Robert made me feel my doggy was in safe and loving hands and I would definitely recommend him for dog sitting!”
