About: I’ve had pets at all different stages of life. Usually a dog, sometimes a cat. Last year we adopted a family dog from Juneau animal rescue. I loved training her, developing ways to communicate, and building a strong bond with my new best friend. Keiko and I would enjoy making friends with your fur baby while you’re at work or on a trip. We would be happy to help you train them, or just have new friends to play with. I work from home and already watch my dog during the day. She would love to have someone around that can keep up with her. We own a home with a fenced back yard on a low traffic street. Taking walks around the neighborhood or on the nearby trails provides plenty of stimulation without the stress. It’s a quiet and peaceful environment, with plenty of space to run and play.

“Debbie and her son took excellent care of our two kitties while we were away. She made sure that our cats were fed, played with, and received plenty of love and snuggles. Debbie sent the cutest update pics that really captured the cats' quirky, goofball personalities. Communication was all-around awesome. Will definitely rebook again.”

She house sits for us while we are on vacation and cares for our cats ( now deceased) and our dog Samson ( Black Russian Terrier - who left us 2 years ago) and now our dog Kai. They have been well cared for and exercised. And given lots of affection. Sarah is not just a fair weather dog walker, she gets them out for exercise every day !”

About: I’m a dog parent of a 3 yo husky mix who keeps me busy. She’s more social than I am, & most days, I’m chasing her around trying to keep up. I like to bike, ski, and play in the mountains, and it’s pretty easy to add another pet into the mix of our high energy lifestyle. Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.

About: Currently enrolled in the Animal Behavior Institute, and have been house sitting since High School! I have many established homes already in need of my care, but hope to use Rover to fill in the gaps. I get along with all animals, big or small - yes even birds and rodents! PLEASE NOTE: I have a child who joins me in our mission to make animals happy and healthy, in their own homes. If your pet cannot participate with children, please find a different user. But I assure you she is better with animals, than I am! She has joined me in this journey for the last 4 years and loves every moment of it I work your standard 8-5 office job. If you are able to find a friend who can assist with afternoon bathroom breaks, I will be able to do the rest! We will accommodate to all feeding and walking/outdoor schedules, and groom your pet as needed. We will clean up after ourselves by the time your return, and even clean your home in the process! We like to consider ourselves as an established part-time maid in the process of also being a house sitter :)
