About: I’ve taken care of many animals over the course of my life. I lived nearly two decades on a farm where animals would often get dropped off and I’d care for them for the remainder of their lives. I worked at a veterinary hospital for 3 years and have 4 cats and a dog of my own. I’ve cared for many friend’s pets while they’re out of town, including both cats and dogs with medical needs. I have a passion for helping others and their furry family members! I believe all animals are deserving of our unconditional love and attention. When life calls you away, I’m happy to step in and ensure they get the utmost care. I’m experienced in giving animals medication, including insulin, and have worked with many different types of collars, leashes, and harnesses. I’ll do my absolute best to care for them in the way you prefer them to be cared for and am happy to take time to make a plan for the care that you expect. I’m also aware of signs and symptoms to look for in an emergency situation and have phone numbers and resources on hand to ensure they get the best care, with your permission. I love sending photos to my clients to show them what a great time we’re having together! Having worked full time at a veterinary hospital, care of animals and their owners was a part of my daily life! I try to accommodate all schedules to the best of my ability and am flexible with my schedule. I treat each pet and home as if it were my own. I spoil my pets and would love to do the same for yours. I work individually with you to come up with a visit plan that is tailored to your pet's needs and prioritize communications with you going forward to ensure your expectations are getting met. I relay any immediate concerns that I have during a visit by calling you or directly messaging you. Otherwise, you can expect a summary of the visit, with images, at the end of my visit with your pet(s).

About: I worked at a veterinarian center for 2 years, and have 15+ years of experience with pets. I absolutely love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I am currently working part time so i’ll have plenty of time to play and take care of your baby’s. I love going on walks with them and they will be able to snuggle up right next to me at night! I have a lawn outside and a great walking route where i live. I also have space for your doggies to sleep, play and hang out!

About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student but classes do not take up much of my day! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I can do late afternoons and mornings, as well as nights if need be. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.

About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for both relatives and family friends since I was maybe 5 or 6. I grew up in a big dog family and have always had a passion for animals. I’m starting school this fall at Iowa State University, and I plan to major in Animal Biology so I can get myself started on the pre-veterinary track. To get some extra hands-on experience, I want to “officially” get some pet-sitting under my belt through Rover. I have also recently started volunteering at the Ames Animal Shelter and I love the exposure that I’m getting! Apart from starting college in late August, I am currently unemployed and am looking for one (or more!) part-time job(s) to add some more structure to my summer :) From there, I’ll probably stay active on Rover, but my availability might become a little less flexible. I have two cats and one dog (all girls and all spayed!) that know how to behave with guests. Our dog loves to make friends and is very sociable. I’m perfectly fine visiting or staying overnight for your pets, and they will always be welcome at my house. I can adjust based on whatever your preferences are!

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born and have always loved animals. I currently have two large dogs and a cat of my own. I worked as a vet tech for 3 years and am familiar with caring for animals with various health needs such as medications both orally and subcutaneously (insulin) as well as general first aid. I am comfortable with all size pets and all breeds and am happy to take my time with nervous animals to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. I am not working currently so I am available most days and most times. I can accommodate early morning or late night requests for walks and drop ins. For the safety of my own pets as well as your own I do not plan to bring any pets to my house while under my supervision.

About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. I'm extremely patient and will take the time to let your cat get comfortable with me, or back away if your cat is stressed. I would love to play with your cat! I love cuddles! I love chillin' from a distance if that's what your cat needs. I'm a responsible adult and will follow the directions you leave for me. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. I have flexible job hours and can work around your schedule. I have a car and am not afraid to drive in inclement weather conditions. With my own cats, I feed them twice per day and give them hours of cuddle time. My experience at animal shelters has given me a lot of experience approaching cats with different personality types.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am around different types of dogs regularly. I am very passionate about caring for dogs. I work part-time and attend college. I am available pretty much every day during the summer, my summer is fairly open until mid August when I go back to school. I have one dog at my apartment, but when I am home, there are three more dogs. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for dogs, and I love to entertain them and take them for walks.

About: I grew up in an animal loving household. My mom is a vet so that helps lol. I have had a pug, Yorkie and a St. Bernard. I currently have a French bulldog and two Frenchie mixes. I also have owned a Ferret and I currently have a snake. I have pet sat in my neighborhood for a while now. I have also pet sat for my mom's coworkers too. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, llama's, alpacas, horses, goats and poultry. I'm here for all your animal needs! I showed dogs in 4-H for 8 years. Showmanship, obedience, and agility. I showed a St. Bernard, French bulldog, German shepherd and a Golden retriever. I also showed my ferret and my snake in the small pet show. I will be in school staring end of August so I will have to see what that will look like for me. This summer I will have another job so I will have to make this work around that. Just contact me and I'm sure we can figure something out. I will have to go to your place to care for your animals. I will be in an apartment starting August and my roommate would not be too thrilled if I had animals over to care for. If you really need your pet at my place for a short time then lmk and I will have to talk to my roommate. I will try to make something work.

About: I am a stay at home military spouse looking to make some extra income. I would have my toddler with me on walks. Because I stay home I have a very open schedule available to you. I have years of experience wrangling children and animals. From horses to cats to my friend's big husky, I have worked with many animals throughout the years. I am a stay at home mom to my toddler son so I have a very open schedule! My son loves dogs and is very good and gentle with them. He is small enough to be in a carrier on my back or in a stroller depending on what you and your dog would prefer! I live in a small apartment so I currently own two cats because I don't feel right about having a dog in such a confined space. My vehicle is an SUV so I would easily be able to transport your dog to a park or for a more scenic walk if requested.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since childhood. I grew up with 4 different dog breeds and loved all of their different qualities. I have been taking care of other people’s dogs since I was in middle school and have been fortunate enough to keep doing during and post my college career. I love all types of dogs no matter how big, small, old, or young! I currently work part time, and have half a day off a week (flexible on which day) and one full day off a week (flexible as well). I get a 1 hour break when I am in the office, located near The Cafe. I do live with 2 dogs and a kitty that mean the world to me. I consider them all my children. I take both of them on walks daily and play with them in the park everyday! I also love doing my own thing by them!
