About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs over the years and am just getting started with pet sitting. My priority is providing a safe and caring home for your pup while they are in my care. I currently have a yellow lab mix who loves other dogs. I have some experience with high energy dogs, nervous dogs, giving medicines, and helping finicky dogs eat. About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. I had a golden retriever from ages 0-10, two Bichon Shih Tzu mixes from ages 11 into my late teen years, and a mini golden doodle and Bichon poodle mix from my teens until i moved out at 18. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!
About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I began playing a role in walking, and feeding/filling water for my dogs since I was 12. I have also watched my friend’s dogs before by stopping in a few times a day to feed them and give them love! I’m currently working a part-time job, most of the time I work night shifts. I am available in the mornings and afternoons Mon-Thurs for pet care and am able to be flexible on Fri-Sun. At home we use an electric fence for our animals but for others I accompany them outside on a leash. My two puppies who are 1 years old enjoy company but are very energetic and can be kenneled if needed. My cat does not do well with other cats without meeting/getting used to them over a period of time.
About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.
About: I have had a passion and love for animals since I was young. I enjoy spending time and playing with animals. I have had experience with animals my whole life. I love taking my dog on walks and playing with him when I am home from school. I have taken care and watched many of my friends and neighbors pets. I also have experience with caring for elderly and sick dogs. Currently a sophomore at Iowa State University, but I keep my calendar updated and am always available during my breaks. Along with my dog I have also had and or cared for a variety of different pets including cats, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs, and guinea pigs. At Iowa State, I am majoring in anthropology and with a minor in biology. I have future aspirations of working in the medical field once I have graduated. Through this app I look forward to meeting new people and animals!
About: For as long as I can remember, my family has always had at least one dog in the house. From Siberian Huskies to Boston Terriers, as my little babies have grown up, I have had both the pleasure and responsibility of potty training, exercising, cuddling, and even divided up medication as needed. Other than just having pets of my own, I have also worked at a local veterinary hospital for about a year now, and have truthfully learned a lot about veterinary medicine, and how I can professionally help these wonderful animals. It is this passion that has presently lead me to pursue a degree in Animal Science, and work towards training dogs professionally after college! Currently, I am working at an equine facility from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning, and from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the evening. With that, I also work on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM to 7:10 PM. The weekdays in which I work are not set in stone; feel free to reach out with any questions! As not to make my own dogs uncomfortable, I do not offer any boarding services at this time. Once a client has given me the necessary details regarding their pet, I will do my very best to respect and follow what they’d like me to do. I am comfortable giving oral, or otherwise general/external, medications. When on walks, I take into account each pet’s needs, and will under no circumstances put them under any unnecessary stress.
About: Breed, raised, train, and show my own two dogs that are at home with my family as I go to college for my pre vet undergrad. Have worked in a vet clinic with the border dogs can give meds if needed. I can also work with your dog on obedience if wanted. I take classes at ISU so when I don’t have class I can take care of your pets. I have a part time job and I can work weekends or for long periods of time. I can work with your dogs how ever you would like at your house. I will care and love then as if they where my own.(My apartment doesn’t allow pets)

Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”

About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs over the years and am just getting started with pet sitting. My priority is providing a safe and caring home for your pup while they are in my care. I currently have a yellow lab mix who loves other dogs. I have some experience with high energy dogs, nervous dogs, giving medicines, and helping finicky dogs eat. I work full time, but have a flexible job that will allow me to let your dog out as needed. Our routine includes three walks a day so I will make sure your pup is exercised. I am home evenings to spend with your dog. Weekends are the best times for me to board and your pup will be sure to get a lovely walk or hike! I have a comfortable and dog friendly apartment and access to a fenced yard/private dog park to play in. My yellow lab will love to keep your dog company, play, or show your dog the best places to nap. I can be flexible with whatever care instructions you need.
