“Danielle was amazing with our animals! She was super flexible with our last minute plans and was fast to respond to texts. We also enjoyed the several pictures we received while we were away. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
2. Alyson F.
“Alyson was a godsend. We have a very hyper 5 month old boxer puppy who literally flipped out when she arrived and could not settle down. We felt terrible leaving him with Alyson as this was our first time having her to our home. By the time we got to West Jefferson she had sent us texts and videos of how everything was going. Our pup went from absolutely nuts to sleeping with her on the sofa and snoring ? Clearly she is a dog whisperer. We are so blessed to have met her and look forward to more visits!”
3. Jeff L.
“Jeff did a terrific job of taking care of our pups. He stayed in our cottage, while watching our dogs (no small feat as they are Great Pyrenees - a 1 and a 2 year old) . Not everyone is up to the task of handling these gentle giants, so kudos to Jeff. He communicated with us daily with pics or a video. He also kept an eye out for deliveries to the residence. We will definitely book with Jeff again.”

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
5. Kristine C.
“Kristine is incredible! We were more than comfortable leaving our dogs with her over the weekend. She came to us for a meet & greet and I knew our dogs would be very happy with her. She kept us updated with photos and videos so we had total peace of mind while we were away, also left our house clean & tidy. Thank you!!”
6. MaiLynn A.
“MaiLynn was fantastic with my 3 animals. She was very punctual and communicative. I would trust her with my animals in the future.”
7. Paige M.
“Paige is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! We have 2 dogs, a kitty, and three chickens and she has been so loving and accommodating to all of them. She has done stop by feedings for us and has stayed at our house for a long weekend. She was clean and is totally trustworthy in every aspect. We highly recommend having her watch your fur or feathered babies 😊”
8. Jaszmyn L.
“We have 3 beautiful fur babies and we usually leave them with Jaszmyn, as we travel quite a bit. Since I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to observe Jaszmyn with her own fur baby, I was not only impressed but also extremely confident that she could handle my 3. Her knowledge and patience with mine has always been unmatched…and I have 3 American Bullies!! I would certainly recommend Jaszmyn as she has always epitomized responsibility, genuine love and concern for my 3!!”
9. Carolyn "CJ" F.
“CJ is friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. She took great care of our dog for a few days and provided daily updates with pictures. Our home was left virtually untouched - CJ was super clean and responsible. We recommend her to anyone needing a sitter and we won't hesitate to book CJ again!”

About: My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I have been a dog sitter and have been boarding dogs for 3+ years. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "fur baby". I grew up with a household of furry friends! I currently work from home so I am able to dedicate quality time for the care of your pet. I am available Mon-Friday as well as weekends. I have an electric fence for my pup but when I pet sit, no pup goes out without supervision and on a leash. I allow pets to be comfortable in my home too but if you need them crated, I can accommodate that too.
11. Heather & Richard R.
“I'm not used to having anyone outside of my home to care for my pet dog Mimi. I urgently need someone to care for her for about a week, so I decided to try a dog sitter. I met Heather and Richard and they appeared to be very passionate because as soon as Mimi saw them, she ran to them and it appeared that they had a good connection with her. All and all, I was very happy with their service.”
12. Briana W.
About: Let me introduce myself I’m Briana, I’m a 27 year old cow farmer (at least I like to think so) I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed animals of really any breed. Some of my fondest memories is running barefoot on my family’s land full of cattle with my sweet puppies always following me to keep me out of trouble. I truly enjoy animals and love taking care of them. I started this job as a way to spend more time with my future husband. He’s in law enforcement and his schedule is all over the place and we really wanted more time together. With that being said he will be staying with me on overnight trips for safety reasons and just because we enjoy each others company. He’s also a big animal lover and shares my admiration for animals in general. We both see this job as very important considering we have a dog of our own that we love and adore. Her name is June and I base how I’d want someone treating her as to how I treat your animals. I have some experience with medications. Mostly oral and one time with injection for a diabetic cat. Please contact us so we can meet and greet and see if it’s a right fit for you and us! I can keep your animals any time. I am self employed full time so the only schedule I have to work around is my own. I have one dog, June. She is friendly with all animals and loves to play. I have a giant yard to walk the dogs in.

18. Bridgette B.
“Bridgette is the very best care giver I have ever had. She’s very dependable caring compassionate and energetic person I’ve ever met. My blaze loves her to death and cries in excitement when he sees her and when she leaves he cries from sadness she’s gone. She always goes above and beyond what is expected of her. I will always use Bridgette for my fur baby needs.”
19. Destiny W.
“Destiny did a good job watching my 2 doggies. A yorkie and pit bull mix. She offered to have an early meet and greet which helped them recognize her when she came to stay. House was neat and clean when I came home. I did have to reach out for my updates but not a big deal.”
