“Caitlan was truly the best Rover sitter I have ever had! Her updates were very detailed for every visit and I received tons of great photos. Caitlan treated my dog as if he were her own and I know he’s in good hands with her.”

About: I have three dogs of my own and love being around them. I have taken care of neighborhood dogs and house sat for many. I am always ready for a good walk :) I am a division one soccer player so I am always out and about doing something active. I am home from college and want to do something active and fun and being around dogs sounds like the perfect choice! I am very responsible and trustworthy. I will make sure your home and animals are well taken care of and safe. I take pride in everything I do and will make sure it is done well.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I’m reliable, patient, and love spending time with animals of all sizes and personalities. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping pets company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a completely open schedule, so I am flexible with your animals routines and schedule! I am truly here to help you so I can do whatever I need! I have a safe, clean environment and always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I follow owners’ instructions carefully and keep pets on their normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on making every pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free while in my care.
“The most reliable and professional people on this app by far. Go ahead and hit that book button you won’t regret it. Lowla has been at their house and they have checked on her at my house. Never any issues and always has great communication.”

About: I pride myself in the work that I do, which makes me dependable. I love dogs and their different personalities and would love to care for yours! I am a Physical Therapy student at Arkansas State University. In the summer, I only have class on Tuesday, Thursday, and some Fridays. I am available in the mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and the weekends! I currently do not have any pets at home as I just moved to Jonesboro. However, I love playing fetch with dogs. It reminds me of my college baseball days. I also love going on walks with dogs as they make the experience so much better.

About: As a kid, I helped care for our family cats and learned early what it means to be responsible for animals. In high school and college, I started overnight dog sitting for my aunt, which helped me build confidence and consistency in caring for pets in someone else’s home. As an adult, I’ve continued pet sitting for three main families, becoming someone they regularly rely on for trustworthy, attentive care. I’m calm, dependable, and comfortable with routine care, overnight stays, and making sure pets feel safe and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine since I work part time and have a flexible schedule. I already spend a lot of my day being active with my own dog—we typically go on 2–3 mile walks daily, which I really enjoy. I love being outdoors and keeping pets engaged and exercised, but I’m just as happy providing calm, relaxed care for pets who prefer a slower pace or more cuddles and downtime. My routine naturally revolves around making sure animals feel comfortable, cared for, and well looked after. We have a large, secure, privacy-fenced yard where dogs can safely spend time outside, and our neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I always prioritize safety, supervision, and making sure pets are comfortable and stress-free in my care. I’m also very happy to care for pets in their own home—whether that’s letting dogs out for potty breaks, going on walks in their favorite areas, feeding meals and treats, or spending time giving cats attention and cuddles. I follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar environment.

About: I have volunteered in my hometown’s rescue since I could walk. I love animals and aspire to earn my doctorate degree to be a vet and help all kinds of animals. I am currently a student at ASU. I work on the weekends and have classes Tuesday and Thursday. Schedule is flexible on any other days. I do live in a dorm so my services will be offered at the clients house or any place is recommended to walk the pet!
About: I took care of my friends three dogs a couple times, but mainly had my own pit bulls when I was younger and loved on them as much as possible. I work full time, get off at six. I could come after work if wanna date night and your dog needs a little extra while your gone or just want care I can make it there. Off Saturday and Sunday. I can follow all the rules you need me to at your home to take care of your fur baby. He or she will be safe with me.
“Thank you Morgan for looking after our kitty Eli while we were gone. He enjoyed your visits and looks like he jumped in your lap several times to be petted. I have never seen him do that! Ha!! He was very happy to see you! Thanks for a great and comforting experience so that we are able to travel and leave our little furry guy in your care. And our home!”

“Laura was a tremendous help while we were on our holiday trip, and even accommodated to our request of dropping in a day earlier than planned. She had very clear communication and sent pictures of our pets while they were playing. We will definitely use Laura in the future”

About: I am a family and pet orientated person. I have 4 dogs, and 1 cat. I grew up in the country on a farm with LOTS of dogs. We were always bringing in strays to help give love and find furever homes for. I became highly involved in my local community animal shelters helping out with the caring and getting them ready and some training for adoption. I am not a certified trainer but I have years of personal experience. I am looking forward to taking care of your babies as well as my own. I do work outside of the home at a couple jobs both are part time and my partner helps rotations when I'm home and gone. I like sticking to routines. I spend all of my free time giving lovins and making sure there is play time. Animals separated from their owners need to know they are not alone.
About: I have been a dog sitter for 10 years and a cat sitter for 7. I promise to care and love your pet(s) while you're gone. I'm currently a full time college student at Arkansas State University, meaning on the weekends I am free for overnight housing! I am pretty flexible as long as there's clear communication. At the moment, I am living in a dorm on a college campus so i am unable to have any animals in my living space.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Jonesboro
I hate to leave this glowing recommendation at the risk of having to share Caitlan with everyone here on Rover. She is fantastic and has been a godsend for us with our brand new 7 week old cockapoo. She is helping us with all things puppy & we could not be luckier to have her as our sitter for him. We trust her with our sweet little guy because she treats him as if he were her very own fur baby. Shes the best of the best 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
