Pet care experience
Dependable Pet Care Service
I am an animal lover down to my very soul! When I was a kid, I pet-sat rather than baby-sat human children. So I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have over three years of professional experience dog-walking and (home stay) pet-sitting. I have taken dog and cat CPR and first-aid classes. (I have had to perform the doggie Heimlich twice!) I love getting to know each of my clients' unique personalities and forming a bond with them. I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty with cleanups because with pets, accidents do happen. Or administering medications. I have had the pleasure of playing with puppies to meandering with seniors. Lastly, I'm more than happy to send daily updates of your pet with photos so you have peace of mind that all is well at home. If you notice gaps in my review/availability times (sometimes from months to years), that is due to my either school or work schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and Environment: I find it important for pet-sitting to keep animals in their own home environment. They are already stressed out because their most important person is suddenly gone, but adding a whole new and unfamiliar environment can be even more stressful! Thus, I try to keep to your and your pet(s) original schedule as much as I am able to whilst servicing other clients. Understanding your pets' needs and (possible) naughty behaviors (such as destructive behavior, food aggression, etc.) helps me keep them and your household safe while you are away.
Ratings and reviews
Caitlan did a great job during our 2-week vacation, especially considering she was dealing with a cat who was recovering from a couple of recent illnesses. She went above and beyond what could be expected.
Caitlan was amazing! She sent great pictures and updates, would definitely use again!

I hate to leave this glowing recommendation at the risk of having to share Caitlan with everyone here on Rover. She is fantastic and has been a godsend for us with our brand new 7 week old cockapoo. She is helping us with all things puppy & we could not be luckier to have her as our sitter for him. We trust her with our sweet little guy because she treats him as if he were her very own fur baby. Shes the best of the best 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶

Caitlan is amazing. She is very intelligent, very gentle and has só much “doggie” knowledge! My Sloane is afraid of só much but Caitlan’s calm approach is winning her over quickly. Chandler loves everyone, and boy, does he love her. I am so delighted that we found her. She is simply wonderful! I

Very nice lady. Took good care of my cats and would book her again if needed in the future.
Caitlyn, took great care of our dogs & cats. We had great communication & checked in when she had questions. We highly recommend her as a petsitter.

Schedule
Availability: Over the summer, I am available to add your pet's check-in or walks to my daily schedule. I live in the local Jonesboro area and can swing by at the drop of a hat!
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsCaitlan can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- For dogs, my usually basic questions are: -Are they afraid of anything or anyone in particular (.e.g afraid of males, will jump towards children, or afraid of loud noises such as thunder)? -Are they very reactive on walks, such as to sounds or squirrels, etc.? -Do they have any destructive tendencies that I need to watch out for? -Do they tend to bolt towards open doors? With cats, it is important for me to know their temperament and what is and is not acceptable (e.g. head scratches are fine, but don’t touch the tail!). It's their house and their rules, and we just live to serve them, right! Knowing what is needed to be re-filled, cleaned, and checked-on during a visit are the essential information I need to gain to ensure a productive check-in visit.
