About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. From wiggly goofy little puppies learning the basics to senior pups with all the wisdom and grey whiskers to match. My time volunteering at the animal shelter taught me how to build trust with shy or nervous dogs. I’m patient with training reinforcement, leash manners, and introducing new environments, (with the owner's permission, of course). I'm also experienced with pups who need a little extra care, including medication administration. Whether it’s long walks, play sessions, or quiet companionship, I tailor care to each dog’s personality and needs, so they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I currently work part time from home, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pets with plenty of attention during the day. As I am very flexible, we can create a schedule that works best for you and your loved ones. I’m happy to spend quality time with your animals, whether that means playtime, walks, or just relaxing companionship while you’re away. I live in a condo with plenty of space and a large lanai, perfect for pets to relax or play. I’m committed to ensuring any pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I create a pet friendly environment by setting up a quiet, dedicated area with their favorite toys and bedding. If your pet is rambunctious and needs to burn off some energy, I’m happy to work with that too. I keep harmful items and hazards out of reach and supervise pets closely at all times. When caring for pets in their own homes, I follow your routines carefully to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I build trust through gentle handling, patience, and clear communication with both pets and their owners. Whether at my home or yours, your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities.

“Sofiya was so wonderful watching my big baby while I was out of town! She sent so many updates and pictures and videos that I didn’t have to worry about my girl at all while I was gone. She also took very good care of my house and left everything clean and tidy for my return, even washed the bed sheets! Looking forward to rebooking with her in the future!”

“We needed someone to stay at our house for the weekend while we were away and Jane was available! She took great care of our pets, dog and two cats. I always got updates and pictures. Thanks again, Jane!”

“Argentina was a life saver. She dog/house for my three dogs for several weeks and on very short notice. She sent many photos of the dogs and was in constant communication. My dogs love her. She took great care of my home as well. She is such a sweetheart and I will certainly hire her again next time I need a sitter!”

About: A BIT ABOUT ME: I’ve been around animals literally all my life. Throughout elementary and high school, I volunteered at the Hawaiian Humane Society and the Honolulu Zoo. Growing up, some of the pets and animals I’ve taken care of were: Dogs Cats (currently I have three cats now) Smaller pets (rats, mice, birds and rabbits) Ducks Chickens A lot of fish and even a baby pig, that required nursing. I work at a dog daycare, but am currently seeking clients to transition to Rover full time and am willing to be flexible. If you are planning an extended trip and need someone to watch your pet everyday, I might be a great fit. I have worked at the pet daycare for 9 years and have experience with monitoring and working with a pack of around 40 dogs (or more) Some of the other jobs I have at the dog daycare are: -Cleaning kennels -Laundry/Dishes/General Cleaning -Cat playtime -Litter box cleaning -Rabbit Care -Preparing food bowls -Dog walking -Enrichment activities for the dogs (such as puzzle time, basic command training, arts and crafts for the dogs, bedtime stories) -Basic grooming (such as nail trims, baths, blow drying brushing and ear cleaning and teeth brushing.) -Monitoring dogs during swim classes -Administering medications to pets -Giving extra attention to animals who are seniors or have special needs PLEASE NOTE When I meet you and your fur babies I would like to spend at least an hour with them before scheduling a pet sitting or regular walking, to be sure they feel comfortable with me. Things I need to know from you: -If your pet has special needs, health problems, allergies, separation anxiety, issues with taking medications, is food/toy aggressive with humans, or other dogs. -If your pet requires medications, any tricks or treats you use. -If your pet has any anxiety at bath time, or during nail trims -If there is anything I can do to make them feel more comfortable, relaxed and happy, please let me know. What you can expect from me: -I will absolutely give your fur babies the love and care they need. Should they require extra attention, you can rely on me. -To give you peace of mind, after a walk visit is completed, or while you are away on a trip, I will update you with a fun report, via email or text. Please note that should an emergency arise, I will call immediately. All animals are special to me…with the exception of spiders. You can trust that while your fur baby is in my care, they will be well looked after. To start, I’m able to work Sunday mornings, Mondays and Wednesdays. If more time is required, I’m flexible. Currently I’m starting as a dog walker, if clients increase I will devote more time to dog walking and eventually sitting Currently, I am available for dog walking specifics on where to collect/return dog can be individualized to meet client’s needs. I would prefer not to enter the client’s home, but if it is necessary, I am willing to do so. If client requests home entry, I will need to meet with owner and dog in client’s home at least twice, to be sure the dog feels comfortable with me. If client prefers leaving the dog in an enclosed yard, one meeting with both dog and owner should suffice, but all decisions will be made case by case.

About: During my wonderful time in Texas, I had the joy of working at several kennels and doggy daycare facilities. This gave me the chance to interact with so many different dog breeds! From the little Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to the medium-sized Beagles and Cocker Spaniels, and the larger Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds, all the way up to the magnificent Great Danes and Mastiffs. This hands-on experience not only helped me understand canine behavior better but also sparked a genuine passion within me for caring for all kinds of animals. Beyond dogs, I'm thrilled to have cared for a variety of other pets, like charming bunnies, playful ferrets, colorful fish, fascinating iguanas, and even the extraordinary Komodo dragons! Each animal comes with its own unique needs and personality, and I'm fully committed to providing exceptional care that's perfectly tailored to each one. Whether it's making sure a puppy gets plenty of exercise, a ferret enjoys stimulating playtime, or an iguana has the right diet and environment, I'm always dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of your treasured pets! I want to continue my journey by caring for pets on weekends when families go on short vacations and can't take their pets with them. I am also available for individuals who need a recurring sitter or dog walker, as I believe in building solid and trustworthy relationships. As a pet sitter and dog walker, I play a key role in keeping pets happy and healthy when their owners are away. As a pet sitter, I: 1. Feed pets based on their dietary needs. 2. Provide exercise and playtime. 3. Administer necessary medications. 4. Offer companionship to reduce loneliness. 5. Handle basic home care tasks, like cleaning litter boxes. 6. Manage any emergencies and contact a vet if needed. As a dog walker, I: 1. Take dogs out for daily walks for exercise. 2. Help them socialize with other dogs and people. 3. Reinforce training commands. 4. Ensure their safety during walks. 5. Monitor their health and report any concerns to the owner. My goal is to ensure pets receive loving care while giving owners peace of mind.

About: I’ve grown up with pets, dogs, cats, rabbits. So taking care of pets comes naturally to me. So there is no need to worry if you will be away, your animals will always be pampered and loved in my care! I have a pretty flexible schedule, I work mornings though it can always be adjusted when needed. Taking care of pets comes naturally to me so it’s never a hassle or burden! I owned 2 dogs back from where I lived (they stay with my parents now). It’s hard to be away from my dogs because we had such a strong bond. I take care of my animals very well, they had a good routine and slept in the bed with us, I know right so spoiled. Whenever my husband leaves the room early in the morning, I was never alone because when I turn over there is my dog laying down, looking back at me saying good morning. I know the big responsibilities pets can bring, and id like to help you out with that load. I’m also trying to bring that joy pets bring back into my daily routine.

About: With 5 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds—including playful puppies, calm senior dogs, curious cats, and even reptiles—I bring patience, adaptability, and a deep love for animals to every visit. As a former daycare owner and stay-at-home mom, I'm naturally attentive, dependable, and skilled at managing routines and unique needs. Whether your pet needs a little extra care, structured playtime, or just a comforting presence, I treat every animal like family.🐾🫶 As a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, I’m able to give your pet the attention they need throughout the day. My routine is centered around providing consistent care—whether it’s morning playtime, midday snuggles, or evening walks. I make sure to incorporate pets into my own daily tasks, ensuring they have plenty of enrichment, comfort, and companionship. With my experience in managing multiple animals, I’m well-organized and ready to adapt to any pet’s schedule—whether it's a cat's quiet time or a dog’s afternoon exercise. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, I ensure pets have a secure, comfortable space where they can relax, play, and explore. I keep all doors and windows securely closed, and I’m mindful of any areas that might pose a risk, like stairs or other hazards. For overnight stays or visits, I maintain a calm and clean environment, with cozy spots for cats to hide or sleep, and ample play areas for more active pets. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow the pet’s routine to keep them as comfortable as possible. I respect boundaries and make sure they have a familiar space to retreat to. I also take extra care with special needs like medication, feeding schedules, or any pet-specific rules to keep everything running smoothly. Whether in my home or yours, I treat your pet with the same love and attention I would give to my own.

Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam pet parents share their Rover experiences
Diego did a wonderful job caring for our dog Brody and cat Beelzebub during our trip away for two weeks. He was very thorough and professional from the start, taking time before our departure to meet with us and both pets, and going through our entire routine to make sure he understood their needs. Throughout our time away, Diego sent daily photos of Brody, which gave us great peace of mind. Both pets were clearly happy and healthy when we returned, which speaks to the quality of care Diego provided. The house was also the way we left it, which we appreciated. The only minor issue was that our cat had done some clawing damage to a piece of furniture during our absence, which Diego didn't notice or address. While it wasn't a huge deal, it would have been nice if he had caught this and redirected Beelzebub s behavior. I also take full responsibility for this as the cat 🐈⬛ has never clawed at furniture in the four years I’ve had him, so I didn’t give Diego a heads up about it. Overall, Diego is a caring and reliable pet sitter who we would definitely consider using again. His preparation and communication were excellent, and our pets were well-cared for in our absence. Thank you Diego!

Rebecca took amazing care of my dog, Bella, and my home while I was away! She was so thorough and attentive, even noticing that one of Bella’s nails needed to be cut. She was super responsive, very flexible, and easy to work with. I appreciated all the updates, along with the pics and videos—I looked forward to them every day, and they really helped me enjoy my time away. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Sofiya was amazing with our senior dog. She was attentive and loving and truly cared for him like he was her own. She also went above and beyond looking after our home and watering plants while we were away. I will absolutely request her again for our next trip. Thank you Sofiya!!

Megan was simply amazing! Great communication, constant updates & pictures, kept our dogs and their area spotless, and most importantly treated my doggos with so much love and care! She even brought over her own treats to spoil our babies. Over and over again I would and will choose Megan! Amazing sitter and person!

Emma is a great sitter. I came home to healthy and happy dogs :) She stayed in my home to house/dog sit for 8 nights. Throughout the stay, she kept my house clean and sent occasional updates with photos. As someone who is an anxious mess when leaving my pets with someone new, Emma helped to put my mind at ease. I would absolutely book with Emma again, in a heartbeat! Thanks Emma!

We’re so happy to have connected with Anuhea via Rover for dog and house sitting services! She treated our fur baby as if she were her own, walking and feeding her every day, giving her daily medications, playing with her, comforting her while we were away and sending updates and pics of our baby all the time so that we could truly enjoy our vacation. Anuhea is a dream to work with — kind, compassionate, intelligent and she was also very respectful of our home. 100% satisfied and would definitely use her services again. Mahalo!

Skylar is the BEST! This is my first time using this app, or any pet sitter ever, and she exceeded my expectations. She stayed in contact with me all day, I didn’t have to worry about my babies at all! Not only did she care for my pets, but she loved them. She sent me photos and took the cutest Polaroids of them with the sweetest note. There’s a reason she’s highly rated, has 5 stars, is a repeat, and is a top recommended person! She is my new go to gal for sure.

SEAN- the man, the myth, the legend. Solid dude. He’s so personable, prompt, considerate. Our cat, Luna is a diva but Sean embraced her. He house sat for us and we couldn’t even tell he was there. He left no crumbs…if you want a quality sitter, look no further.
