My Sadie must have played hard with her Ridgebacks because she was exhausted when I got her home. She only got up to eat and back to sleep. Haha. Just what I wanted. About: My Place: I have a pampered 13 y.o. Malti-poo that I spoil with great pleasure, Coco Chanel. I know first-hand that finding the right sitter for these babies is difficult. Especially if yours doesn’t travel well and aging. I provide overnight services in my home accepting 1 “guest” only so they can have the attention and pampering along with Coco. Guest is 8 pounds or under and has a non-aggressive disposition. Will walk Will meet prior to booking. Will medicate if provided current prescription bottle with directions. Can pick-up and drop off Minimum 1 night up to 7 (exceptions considered) Your place: All visits, number and size of pups as well as your location are considered after an on-site meet and greet. Please note: Due to a high amount of cancellations, please note there is a 7 day notification period to receive complete refund. I am 100% retired and a dog lover. About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

I would love to start taking care of new clients in Albuquerque. I especially love taking my furry friends for fun-filled long walks or having an impromptu photo shoot at your home to show off your pet. I'm comfortable with young, active pups and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats who require medication or other extra care for individual needs. I believe in creating a personalized experience for each animal, based on their preferences, activity level, and health. When I housesit, I am happy to include additional services beyond pet care, such as bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, bringing the garbage and recycling cans around, and alternating lights to ensure it looks like someone is around while you are out of town. I have many years of experience walking dogs and pet-sitting overnight in my former hometown of Austin, TX, as well as in the Washington, DC area, with many highly satisfied repeat clients. I would be happy to have a meet and greet with you and your dog or cat (or rabbit or birds) to discuss more details! I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day and on weekends and holidays. If you'd like me to provide some socialization for your small dog while I'm walking them, we can see if our pets get along first. I only care for one household's pets at a time. Let me know the pet rules for your home (if fur babies can sit on the bed or what else might be off limits to them). I am very careful to properly harness dogs when taking them outside. Your pet will never be left unattended while in my care.
