“Kimberly was very patient with Rio, who was very intimidated by her beautiful, big Ridgebacks. Kimberly seemed very willing to let them get acquainted slowly, but Rio was shy and needs more experience with other dogs. Kimberly followed all my instructions for feeding and treats. She has a big yard and a large shaded patio for the dogs. They are able to also go into a big enclosed garage- like space to get out of the heat or cold.”

About: My Place: I have a pampered 13 y.o. Malti-poo that I spoil with great pleasure, Coco Chanel. I know first-hand that finding the right sitter for these babies is difficult. Especially if yours doesn’t travel well and aging. I provide overnight services in my home accepting 1 “guest” only so they can have the attention and pampering along with Coco. Guest is 8 pounds or under and has a non-aggressive disposition. Will walk Will meet prior to booking. Will medicate if provided current prescription bottle with directions. Can pick-up and drop off Minimum 1 night up to 7 (exceptions considered) Your place: All visits, number and size of pups as well as your location are considered after an on-site meet and greet. Please note: Due to a high amount of cancellations, please note there is a 7 day notification period to receive complete refund. I am 100% retired and a dog lover. I will provide your fur babies with all my attention, love and care! Please see my reviews from past clients. Your fur baby will be treated as if my own. Not all dog owners understand the attention and care they need or how close we are to our sweet babies.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from yorkies to German shepherds. I am unable to commit full to have a dog of my own just yet, but still want to provide the love and care to other dogs. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

I especially love taking my furry friends for fun-filled long walks or having an impromptu photo shoot at your home to show off your pet. I'm comfortable with young, active pups and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats who require medication or other extra care for individual needs. When I housesit, I am happy to include additional services beyond pet care, such as bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, bringing the garbage and recycling cans around, and alternating lights to ensure it looks like someone is around while you are out of town. I have many years of experience walking dogs and pet-sitting overnight in my former hometown of Austin, TX, as well as in the Washington, DC area, with many highly satisfied repeat clients. I would be happy to have a meet and greet with you and your dog or cat (or rabbit or birds) to discuss more details! I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day and on weekends and holidays. If you'd like me to provide some socialization for your small dog while I'm walking them, we can see if our pets get along first. I only care for one household's pets at a time. Let me know the pet rules for your home (if fur babies can sit on the bed or what else might be off limits to them). I am very careful to properly harness dogs when taking them outside. Your pet will never be left unattended while in my care.
