About: U of I student with flexible availability. I love to walk dogs, throw the ball, play tug of war. I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments. Flexible availability. About: I’ve owned pets from bearded dragons, tree frogs, Guinea pigs, hamsters, and dogs big and small. I love animals and I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, tarantulas (assisting with shedded skin stuck), and exotic frogs. I’m currently working full time until August where I will then work full time as a pet sitter. I’m available after 5:30 PM M-F and the entirety of the weekends. I have a small dog that could keep your dog company. I don’t just consider it my responsibility to keep your dog safe, but mentally stimulated as well. About: I am that lady who will cross a busy street just to pet your dog. Most of my clients are offline but I am moving on to Rover in an attempt to broaden my current client base. I am open to boarding in my home but I do live in an apartment with an unfenced yard so the best fit would be small, mellow couch-potato types. I understand the need for a dog to wander, smelling each tree and finding new routes. I have been around dogs my entire life and have an automatic caretaking demeanor when faced with a furry lil friend. I was the lucky human to a wonderful pup named Georgia O'Keeffe for the last 12 years and unfortunately had to put her down in January 2026; please let me spoil your dog in honor of my best babe! My schedule is very flexible and I have a reliable car to get me there. Right now dog walking and sitting blend seamlessly around my other work. UPDATE: I was in chemotherapy all summer for a cancer recurrence and had my final treatment in October 2026. I am finally reopening my bookings and building my strength back up. I will be taking limited bookings at this time and will be a good fit for low energy pup, though they will still receive multiple walks a day and all the love and attention their little hearts can handle. Pets communicate through their own signals, telling us what they need. It's up to me to get to know your pet by learning their behaviors and patterns. That way I can make sure they are getting the best care available. To me, this is not a hobby or side job to make some extra cash; I take animal care very seriously and have made it my profession so that I can spend my days pouring my love and energy into the animals around me.
About: I've provided pet care for clients, friends and family my whole life. I love adventuring with my dogs ie walks, hikes, going to the beach. I use positive training and discipline techniques. I've taken dog training classes. I've cared for dogs of all ages and breeds. I love adding to my pack! I've a lot of availability! About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals since I was young. Anything from guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, etc. My family has had a variety of dogs, so I have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages. I have taken care of senior dogs with special care required regarding seizures and numerous medications. I’ve also assisted in training for younger dogs for basic tricks and potty training. I’m currently a PhD student, so I’m on campus around half the week! Weekends are very open/flexible for me, and I’m also available in the mornings/mid-day/nights. About: I will accept any type of animal as long as information about how to care for it is given. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for about 6 years now. I can walk your dog as many miles as you need. If asked, I can also house sit which would include taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, cleaning, and checking on everything that you would need. I am CPR certified for both cats and dogs. I hope to meet your fur baby soon, thanks! I’m a student, so besides going to classes, all of my free time will be available for animals! About: I have had extensive experience caring for livestock animals, and have done some dog sitting and care here and there. About to graduate with an animal science degree this upcoming fall! This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
