“Erika has been awesome! My boyfriend has an odd work schedule, which generally leaves me booking less than a day on advance. She always takes Avila for a long walk/play in the creek and follows my directions on giving her lunch and whatnot. We appreciate you, Erika!”

6. Rachael S.
About: Hi, I’m Rae! I love pets and have lots of experience with small animals, dogs, cats, and horses. I have previously worked in Animal Control and as a veterinary assistant, and I’m comfortable giving medications and injections if needed. I also send multiple updates a day to the owner. I’m available for drop-in appointments 7 days a week. I have experience with horse, birds, dogs, and cats. I’m also comfortable giving injections if needed for insulin or other medications. At this time I only offer care in the clients home. I prefer a meet and greet prior to the first visit, and written instructions for feeding, medication, and other things important to the care of your pets.
7. Emily G.
“My husband and I were relocating to a new home. We had a season where we could not have our dog at our temporary rental. Emily took our dog in for us and kept him happy and safe during this transition. It was such a comfort, knowing he was safe and being cared for. Thank you so much!”
8. Lacey L.
“Lacey was very communicative during our trip . She watched my two dogs for two weeks and I felt so at ease throughout the whole trip with how communicative she was. She took care of my dogs really really well and I will book with her again.”
9. Jeanne R.
“Jeanne is the best. We travel a lot, but after our senior dog couldn’t handle the stress of being kenneled, we needed someone trustworthy and responsible to stay with him in our home. Jeanne has been the perfect fit. When we travel she stays in our home and cares for both our dog and cat. They both absolutely love Jeanne, and bonus: we come home to a spotless house. You would never know she had been there. Our cat ended up getting really sick when we were in St. Lucia, and Jeanne called us as soon as she noticed signs of stress. She then took him to the animal hospital to get checked out. She was quick to collect a urine sample in a baggie for the vet, which was very helpful in determining the issue. After the appointment she administered the meds our kitty needed until we returned home. She literally saved our cat’s life. Jeanne has a magic touch with pets, and so much love for them. If she is available when you need her, don’t hesitate.”
10. Kyle C.

17. Darya O.
“This was my first time using Rover and having someone that wasn’t family or friends watching Idgie while I was gone— Draya was so kind and calm from the beginning. Idgie immediately warmed up to her! Draya is an excellent communicator and so sweet to send me photos of Idgie! As a nurse, I work 12 hours shifts which unfortunately was leaving Idgie alone for long periods of time. Once Draya started to come over while I was at work, Idgie instantly became so much happier because of the love Draya’s given her! I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my experience and genuine love for animals, combined with my ability to care for pets with diverse needs. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rats, and birds, allowing me to develop an understanding of various species and their unique requirements. One of my special skills is caring for senior pets. I have experience providing compassionate care for aging or ill animals, including those with specific health challenges. For example, when my mom went on vacation, I took care of her 18 year old senior dog that was blind. I carried him up and down the stairs into and out of the house, closely supervised him in the unfamiliar-to-him environment, and cleaned up his frequent accidents. Another time, I cared for her very ill dog while she was on vacation. I had to administer IV fluids to him several times a day to combat dehydration from his illness. I have had pets that needed oral medications and have experience giving pills to dogs and cats. These experiences demonstrate my capability to handle a variety of pet care needs. Additionally, my adaptability and commitment to personalized care make me stand out as a pet sitter. I recognize that each pet is an individual with distinct preferences and requirements, and I am prepared to tailor my approach to ensure their comfort and happiness. My background in caring for a wide variety of pets has also equipped me with the knowledge to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. In summary, my experience, passion for animals, ability to care for senior pets, and adaptable approach to pet care set me apart from other pet sitters. I am confident that my unique skill set and dedication will provide pet owners with peace of mind, knowing that their beloved pets are in capable and loving hands. Pet care has always been an integral part of my life, as I've been caring for a wide variety of pets since I was a child. Over the years, I've developed a deep understanding and love for animals, which makes pet care a natural fit into my daily and weekly routine. With my current flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate the necessary time and energy to properly care for pets in need. My day typically starts with a morning routine that includes feeding, grooming, and spending time with my own pets (two small dogs and a cat), ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Throughout the day, I take breaks to play with and exercise them, and I make sure to keep a close eye on their health and well-being. When pet sitting, I would prioritize the needs of the pets in my care by adjusting my schedule accordingly. I am skilled at multitasking and can easily adapt to the specific requirements of each pet, whether it be administering medication, providing special diets, or accommodating their unique exercise and play preferences. I am also comfortable with various types of pets and have experience in handling emergencies if they were to arise. In short, pet care is not just a task for me, but a passion that I seamlessly incorporate into my daily and weekly routine. My experience, dedication, and flexibility make me an ideal candidate for a pet sitter role, and I am excited to share my love for animals with others who need assistance in caring for their pets. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priorities are ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of the animals, while also respecting the client's property and privacy. To achieve this, I follow these key principles: Communication: Before starting any pet sitting assignment, I make sure to have a thorough discussion with the pet owner to understand their pet's specific needs, preferences, and routines. This includes gathering information on feeding schedules, exercise habits, medical requirements, and any behavioral quirks. Safety: I am vigilant about maintaining a secure environment for the pets in my care. This involves double-checking doors and windows, ensuring that potentially harmful substances or objects are out of reach, and being attentive to any signs of distress or illness. Trust: I respect my client's privacy by only accessing areas of their home that are necessary for pet care. I also ensure that I am punctual and reliable, keeping the client updated on their pet's well-being through regular updates and photos. Environment: I strive to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the pets I care for, by cleaning up after them, ensuring their living spaces are tidy, and providing the necessary exercise and mental stimulation they require. In summary, when caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize safety, trust, and maintaining a comfortable environment, while also providing personalized care that caters to each pet's unique needs. My commitment to these principles ensures that pet owners can have confidence in my ability to care for their beloved pets responsibly and attentively in their own homes.
