“Melissa went far beyond expectations! She came to my home a few days before to meet my old puggle and I. Right away, I knew she was the right fit. Warm, friendly, very communicative and understanding of my older dog and patient with his little quirks. After talking and showing her around, I had no hesitation trusting Melissa with my home and my little world with 4 paws. She sent messages with photos letting me know she was handling his separation anxiety with patience, some humor and of course, treats! She is a true animal lover with a lot of knowledge of different breeds and older dog behaviors. I would highly recommend Melissa! Kind, dependable, responsible and overall really good person! It’s not easy for me to leave my little old man, even for one night, but will not hesitate to hire her again. Thank you Melissa! Brutus adored you.”

About: I’ve worked with dogs for the past 7 years of my career. Have done dog sitting for the last 4 years. My current job is with animals. Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work full time but have one day off a week and have weekends off. Will stay in your house and can take them hiking or for walks. I prefer to care for your pets in your home where they are most comfortable in their environment. Take them for walks and play with them however they like.
About: As a lifelong animal lover who has cared for everything from birds and fish to dogs and cats since childhood, I understand how important it is for your pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. Currently a pet parent myself and working professional, I bring both personal experience and reliability to your pet's care. My time volunteering at animal shelters has given me hands-on experience with different animal personalities and needs. I know how crucial it is to trust that your pets are receiving attentive, loving care while you're away, which is why I offer dedicated drop-in services that keep your furry (or feathered!) family members happy at home. I'm a teacher, so weekdays the availability for drop-ins would be in the morning, after school and in the evening. On weekends I am available for morning, afternoon and evening. I am a teacher in our local school district and consider myself very trustworthy. I understand there is a high level of trust needed to allow someone to drop into your home and care for your pets. As a pet parent I also understand the need to have a reliable sitter, rather than use a kennel. I hope I can fill that role for your family:)
About: I've been and animal lover since day one! for eight years, i cared for my family dog as the primary caretaker, and since then I've become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. From playful pups to cozy cats, giving pets loving, reliable care has always come naturally to me. I'm currently in between jobs, living with my parents, as I am taking care of my mom while she is receiving chemo treatment. My availability is very flexible and will try to make it work with you and your adorable fur babies! Safety and trust come first. I create a safe, calm environment where pets can relax and be themselves. Whether in my home or yours, I follow their routine, monitor them closely, and make sure every meal, walk, and cuddle happens with care.
About: Having spent my early years with our family dogs, I have come to an appreciation of the anxiety and work families go through in order to go on a trip without their beloved pets! Keeping your family pets in their own home reduces the stress on the family and the pet! We own a seasonal resort so we have limited availability for overnights June/July/August but are available for walking & attention throughout the day. Our resort is closed is mid-September through mid-May when we house-sit as well as care for our neighbors pets in their own home. Ideally we would like to meet the family and your pet before agreeing to home & pet sitting as we want a good match. Services offered: drop in care, pet walking, house sitting. Because we live in rural Minnesota, our fees reflect the additional transportation costs going to your home for services. When our seasonal resort is closed I am available most days and weekends. I have regular families on my schedule but only take one family reservation at a time. Prior to pet sitting in your home, I require meeting the owner and the pets. This will determine if we are a good match and the family can be confident your fur baby is well taken care.

“Eric was a great sitter for our two dogs at our home. He was very responsive, sent pictures while we were away and flexible with our requests. I look forward to using Eric again!”

About: I have 24 hour pets access it’s hard to transport pets across the United States and take care of the pets needs and make sure that they stay healthy and well take care of them I work for 10 hour days and they’re basically all evening shift times until early in the morning, but I have three days off during the week time to help take care of your animals and pets I took care of my pets like they’re my own kids. I have freshwater and fresh food that I will give them every day. Play with him. Make him feel welcomed take him out to the bathroom at least as much as they need to go outside to go to the bathroom, specially the dogs, the cats I have plenty of kitty litter and pans to take care of, and I will not let him outside
About: I have had at least one dog to take care of since I was 10 years old, and my extended family has always had numerous additional dogs. I feed, give water to, and entertain multiple dogs, of multiple sizes, on a daily basis. I have been responsible for a variety of breeds, as well as both indoor dogs and outdoor farm dogs. Raising sheep and working on horse/cattle farms throughout my middle and high school years has taught me how to care for all kinds of animals, big and small. I am currently waiting to ship out for Navy boot camp, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m available most days of the week. If overnight care is needed, my roommates are able to look after my dogs, which allows me to stay with pets for extended periods when required. I care for pets based on what they need most. Sometimes that means simply being there to keep them company, letting them out, feeding them, and spending time playing or relaxing with them. Other times it can mean giving a little extra attention and monitoring for pets who need more care.
