Since I am home full-time, I am able to dedicate my entire day to the care and well-being of the dogs and cats I look after in our large, two-story house in South Burlington, which features a big, secure yard where they can safely run and play. I have the experience to care for any type of animal, including puppies that require extra attention, patience, and routine. For your peace of mind, I provide very regular updates and frequently send photos of your companion throughout their stay. Please note that since I have a 20-month-old son, any dog staying with us must be perfectly comfortable and safe around young children. I ensure a safe, organized environment for both visiting dogs and cats, strictly following their regular feeding, potty, litter, and medication schedules so they feel right at home. At your home: I follow your exact instructions to respect your pet's routine, whether I am dropping by for a 30 to 60-minute visit or taking your dog out for a walk. I make sure your home stays secure, doors are locked, and your pet gets their regular feeding, fresh water, and potty breaks exactly as they do when you are there.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

I offer adventure walks on Mondays! This is a 1-2 hour hike that can be booked on its own, or added on to boarding, if your pup loves to get out on the trails. I am more than happy to accommodate with longer or off-leash walks, extra cuddle time, allowing your pup to share my bed, or helping them to feel comfortable in whatever ways your pet needs.
