My name is Amy and I would like to offer my services to look after your animal/s while you are away from home. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and ages and love cats as well. Please reach out and let me walk your dog during the day or take care of your pets while you are away for the week or weekend. - $25 for 30 min walks. Time slots available from 10am-3pm in the Portland area. Mon-Fri - $50/day for sitting. Give your pets some company with overnight care. I will visit with your dog twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) or I can stay overnight. I'm happy to travel to the following locations: Falmouth, Yarmouth, Portland, South Portland, and Cape Elizabeth. During the week or weekends I look forward to hearing from you! About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was five, and have lived with cats for three years. I've bathed, cleaned, walked, gave medicine, I've done it all!! My work life balance helps me be more able to shift around my schedule for morning or afternoon shifts! Weekends are usually pretty open for me as well! I have a backyard and park near my house for plenty of walking distance. I am also on the edge of a college town so I am able to choose between walking them in a more social or quiet area. I'm more than happy to help with socializing pets any way they are learning.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and wouldn't have it any other way. Throughout my childhood, I helped my parents raise cows, goats, pigs, chickens, our llama, and a few more little critters on our farm. We've always had dogs and cats, and my love for them doesn't compare. I've helped feed, walk, bathe, cut toenails, and give shots and medication since able to do so. I've helped out family friends with walking and pet sitting for their dogs. I love forming bonds with all kinds of animals and having them be a part of my day. I'm 18 and taking a gap year before college to travel. I'm working for a few months and pet care is my main priority! I'm very flexible and have nothing but free time. If within a close range I can spend an hour or a few with your pet, or spend a few nights if you're traveling away. My goal is to suit your needs in whatever way I can. As with my pets, I'll make sure your pets have plenty of time outdoors to get their energy out, feed and water them, and finally whatever else is communicated to me. Brushing, nail clipping, bathing, medication. Whatever suits your pet's needs. Of course, most importantly I will give them love and companionship while they're in your absence :))

About: I’ve lived with dogs for my entire 45 years - even through college my parents would drive our family dog to my college apartment (where it wasn't allowed) because they trusted that I would care for him best. I just love being with and caring for all dogs. I’m currently in between jobs, so outside of driving my two teens and walking my 3 dogs, I’m available to provide dog care as needed. You can make the rules as to how I care for and walk your dog in your home. I appreciate that dogs like a routine and I will follow it accordingly.
