1. Grace G.
“Grace took care of our two yellow labs for several days while we were on vacation in August 2021. She was amazing! Took our boys for walks, trips to the pond for swimming, and played with them at her very dog friendly house and surrounding property. We are so happy with the service and the wonderful home that she provided that we are hoping that she will be doing this next year so we can have her care for them again! Anyone looking to board their pups should feel extremely confident that they will be well taken care of!”
2. Laura & Bill M.
“This is our first time using Laura and Bill to care for our dog Blue overnight. They were terrific and Blue seemed perfectly content and happy with them. We will certainly use them again. Thanks to both Laura and Bill.”
3. Eliot J.
“Eliot was wonderful! She was so good with our dog and even gave me some great tips on a type of lead that might be more comfortable for our dog and still prevent her from pulling. We will definitely use Eliot again if the need arises.”
4. Michelle R.
“Michelle was super professional, kind, down to earth, and passionate about taking care of dogs. Our two dogs immediately warmed up to Michelle, were relaxed around her, and loved the different activities she did with them. Michelle took our dogs out for a couple walks over the overnight stay, gave them free roam is her fenced in yard, and spoiled them with loads of attention. Our dogs were happy and engaged while spending time with Michelle. We would 100% recommend Michelle to others in need of a sitter for daycare or overnights, and we would go back to her anytime!”
5. Alicia R.
“Alicia and her family were great. They took such good care of our elderly pug. Alicia communicated every couple of days with updates and pictures. I will definitely use her again.”
6. Elizabeth S.
“I’m lucky to live next to Elizabeth! She is such an amazing pet mom to her dog and cat. Elizabeth also helps me with my dog when I leave town and sends me photos regularly and takes her on walks. My dog is always so excited to see Elizabeth. I trust her to go into my house whenever. She is an amazing candidate for Pet sitting!”
7. Ashley G.
“Ashley is a colleague of mine whom I've known for 2 years. I have seen first hand her love for dogs, and the respect she has for them. She is the most organized person I know, so if you give her special instructions on your pet's specific needs, she will honor them completely. Her home is warm and inviting, with plenty of access to areas for dog-walking and playing. She has done pet-sitting for the dogs of several of our colleagues, and they all are extremely excited when she can care for their pets. Your dog will love his or her time with Ashley (and Brady).”
8. Lori S.
“Lori is an amazing human, animal owner, and compassionate person. I have known Lori for many years and have been consistently impressed with her trustworthiness and great personality. She cares greatly for her own animals, and is always willing to take care of her friends and neighbors pets when needed. She opens her home and heart to all! She is an outdoorsy, adventurous and healthy person. I always feel confident and comfortable leaving my animals in her care :)”
9. Susan B.
“Susan was a great pet sitter. She communicated quickly and was very flexible. Her home is a great spot for dogs who love the outdoors. Highly recommend”
10. Dawn D.
About: I have cared for dogs from puppies to senior pups. I have taken care of family pets for family and for friends. I have also cat sat for many of my friends and family. I am done with work around 5pm so there is plenty of daylight to get in a good walk for your dog or a good game of fetch! I currently care for our 3 dogs with multiple walks through the day and hikes when time allows. Also I play with the cat atleast once a day
11. Kimberly N.
“Kim was a wonderful sitter for our very timid and slow to warm dog, Betsy. Betsy took to her very quickly and enjoyed her stay. Kim has a cozy home and great yard and was very attentive to Betsy all weekend. We look forward to future stays with her!”
12. Sarah B.
“Sarah is not only a consummate professional, she is conscientiousness and caring. She was so incredibly patient while caring for my elderly dog, (for 3 weeks!), who had very specific medical needs. She was communicative and thorough in relaying the type of care she provided. Sarah also comes from a family of Airedale-lovers...and her doggos are the rambunctious sort! I have seen her handle her own pups (3!) with reams of positive energy, kindness, and authority. My suggestion? Hire Sarah. She understands dogs and their needs. I was so pleased with the service she provided that I have no hesitation recommending her as a walker. She will love your furry friend as her own.”
13. Annika M.
About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and wouldn't have it any other way. Throughout my childhood, I helped my parents raise cows, goats, pigs, chickens, our llama, and a few more little critters on our farm. We've always had dogs and cats, and my love for them doesn't compare. I've helped feed, walk, bathe, cut toenails, and give shots and medication since able to do so. I've helped out family friends with walking and pet sitting for their dogs. I love forming bonds with all kinds of animals and having them be a part of my day. I'm 18 and taking a gap year before college to travel. I'm working for a few months and pet care is my main priority! I'm very flexible and have nothing but free time. If within a close range I can spend an hour or a few with your pet, or spend a few nights if you're traveling away. My goal is to suit your needs in whatever way I can. As with my pets, I'll make sure your pets have plenty of time outdoors to get their energy out, feed and water them, and finally whatever else is communicated to me. Brushing, nail clipping, bathing, medication. Whatever suits your pet's needs. Of course, most importantly I will give them love and companionship while they're in your absence :))
14. Michelle H.
“Michelle deeply loves and cares for not only her own animals but those she takes care of while their owners are away. She will go above and beyond to make sure that your dog is well taken care of. I knew my Blueberry Pancake dog was in good hands for the month of travel I had recently which allowed me to fully enjoy my time away.”
15. Mia B.
“Mia was amazing with our dogs! The dogs loved her, and she them! Baxter our oldest can be slow to warm up, but not with Mia! Thank you so much!”
16. Melody R.
“Disco came back tired and seemed to have fun with the other Spaniels and farm animals :)”
17. Celeste R.
“I had a minor medical event which resulted in my having to stay an extra night and Celeste was very flexible and took the best care of Edie. Edie was very happy to run and play in Celeste's yard with other dogs. I highly recommend!”
18. Luana P.
“I’ve been using Rover ever since I adopted my puppy nine years ago. Over the years, I used a few different sitters. Luana is by far the best and has been my go-to sitter for the past 3 years. She is caring and kind and my shy pup immediately sensed this. He’s never been afraid around her. I always know what’s going on because Luana sends lots of pictures and brings up any concerns if she thinks something is unusual. Luana is easy to communicate with and also flexible with drop-off and pickup. Thank you Luana!!”
19. Brittany L.
About: Please read my entire profile: Hi there! My name is Britt, and I live in Tamworth, NH. I am the proud owner of two cats and one dog. Between 2014 and 2021, I worked as a kennel supervisor at an animal care center, where I took care of 50-120 dogs every day. I am also a certified veterinarian assistant and have experience in administering medication through various methods such as IM, IV, SC, PO and topicals. Currently, I am attending college part-time to pursue my BS in Environmental Science. In 2016, I started pet sitting after witnessing how some animals were affected by being away from their homes while boarding. I noticed that while some were okay, others were incredibly uncomfortable and anxious. As a result, I decided to offer pet sitting services. I am generally available throughout the entire day on weekends and during the week before and after work. Facebook: Happy Tails In-Home Pet Sitting ** Medications: No charge for PO admin, however, $5 charge per IM or IV, $10 per SC. ** Dog Walking & Drop Ins: My profile is set to available 11am-3pm Mon-Fri. This is not true- unfortunately I can't set my availability for that time only for weekends. I am available 5-6am or 3-6pm Mon-Fri and open all day Saturday and Sunday. ** It's important to note that I do have a full-time job, so I won't be present at your home 24/7. However, I assure you that I will take care of your pet(s) as if they were my own. Besides cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for chickens, goats, and exotic animals. ****** One more thing to keep in mind is that I prefer not to book or accept payments through Rover. I accept payment via check, cash, Apple Cash, PayPal, or Venmo. Thank you! ****** During the week, I work in Fryeburg and have a half-hour lunch break. If you live nearby, I can take short breaks for bathroom visits. While I'm not home, I can either crate your dog or close any baby gates or doors to confine them to a specific area. My dog has access to two rooms of my house, including his crate.
