I most certainly will talk in a baby voice to them :) As a UofK student, my availability includes Mondays and Wednesdays (before 1 PM and after 5 PM), Fridays (before 1 PM), Saturdays (before 5 PM), and all day Sundays. About: As a trusted home-body I’m always the one to watch family and friends’ pets when they go out of town. And I love it! I’m a freelancer who works from home so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have more than enough time to play, cuddle, train, take walks, and give your dog all of the attention and care they deserve! I have a large fenced-in backyard and two dogs of my own to keep yours company during their stay. I have one 6 year old chihuahua and one 10-month old rat terrier puppy with plenty of friendly, playful energy. We have tons of toys and treats as well. If they’re kennel-trained, I have a kennel they can feel safe and secure in.

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was young and have also always had cats and dogs since I can remember. I am very experienced in pet sitting and you can trust me with your fur babies!! I’ve always loved taking care of animals. I have pet sit for many years and have always enjoyed it. I love being able to take dogs on walks and enjoy outside time and also just giving animals affection and love! I have no problem visiting clients home, I have done it many times before and it worked out fine! I don’t usually bring animals to my place just because I have animals myself.

My professional background includes working as a veterinary technician, zoological specialist at Busch Gardens, marine mammal biologist, and dolphin trainer. Throughout these roles, I've gained extensive hands-on experience in animal husbandry, behavioral observation, training, enrichment, and providing individualized care. I've had the privilege of working with animals ranging from horses and household pets to dolphins, giraffes, and other exotic species! My veterinary background has also given me valuable experience recognizing changes in animal behavior, understanding health and wellness needs, and remaining calm and attentive in situations requiring extra care. But beyond my degrees and professional experience, I'm simply someone who absolutely adores animals. I understand that pets aren't just pets—they're family. I have fairly open availability as much of my work and school work right now is all in house. For boarding I have open availability. For walks I can do anything after 12pm. For drop ins again ai can do anything after 12pm. Pet care is the upmost importance to me, and we can customize the schedule to what your pet needs! My apartment has a dog park attached to it so we can go outside and run and play! My neighbor has a large amount of sidewalks and grass that makes for great walks and sniffing time. I have a cat in the house that adores dogs and other cats and just wants to cuddle all the time, all of her stuff is raised so dogs can’t get into it. I want your pets to be happy and feel safe so if they need a crate or need anything else specific to them let me know and we will work it out!!
