About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

I have had two dogs in my lifetime that were my sole responsibility. I have had one cat that I shared with my mother. I love to play fetch with my own pup and go on hikes with him as well. I had a lop-eared bunny I rescued as well, during my move to Kentucky I had to give him to my best friend.

I am currently available to take care of your pet when I do have my days off, I will start substitute teaching soon so this could potentially affect my daytime availability. About: Hi there! I have been pet sitting for a couple of years and have also been employed at a dog training and daycare for roughly seven months. While I was there, I learned all about dog behavior and how to handle it when things get rough. I am comfortable around animals and my ability to recognize their needs. I adopted a kitten one year ago and have loved taking care of him. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, I am now only taking care of my cat but still love dogs deeply. I work a time variable job. During the week I’m usually up and out of the house by 5:30-6am and home by 3. Sometimes that varies. I’ve been home by noon some days. That being said if your dog needs potty breaks frequently, I would not be the best option for you. It’s important to me and your pet that I keep them comfortable and safe. I love to give animals the time and attention they deserve!!
