“I can’t recommend them enough. My husband and I were really not able to do much because Ryder has separation anxiety. Charlie and Casey sent us updates through out the day and our baby looked so relaxed and happy. I definitely will not use anyone else. Thanks Charlie and Casey.”

“Joan is AMAZING! She took care of our Cookie boy like her own. She is kind, loving, provided daily updates, and followed his schedule/routine like he was home. He came home happy and content. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Daniella was wonderful. She responded to our last minute request immediately. Daniella's family treated Zack as their own as we were sent many photos in their home. Will definitely book Daniella again.”

“Mary was very professional and kind! She checked in with me everyday with photos and updates on how my dog was doing. She was easy to get into contact and fast to respond. Great dog sitter!”

“Andrew was great and took good care of my boy Leroy. His dog Jeff is a sweetie and I would definitely book with Andrew again so Leroy has both a human and canine companion he likes while I’m away!”

“★★★★★ I had a fantastic experience with Trey! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I really appreciated how he kept his availability updated, allowing me to make a last-minute reservation. I could immediately tell, at both drop off and pick up, that my dog was going to and did receive lots of love and attention. And with my busy schedule, it's so important to have someone reliable and flexible like Trey. He was incredibly friendly, trustworthy, and I wouldn't hesitate to rebook with him in the future! Thank you so much Trey!! I can tell Nico was well taken care of and comfortable 🫶”

“I can’t say enough good things about Kayla. Gunner gets separation anxiety but had no issues this time while we were gone for a week and half. She took great care of him, sent adorable photo updates, and brought him home cleaner than we sent him!”

About: I've been taking care of 4 legged animals since I was 6 years old. I am able to understand animals body languages and feel out their vibe and match it I am looking for employment so they might be left alone for some time but I have a partner who works from home and can look out for them I have an unfenced yard, 5 dogs and 4 cats. Everyone gets along but take a second to warm up and get the excitement out
About: I have had pets for my entire life. I have experience giving oral medications as I have had geriatric dogs. Your pets deserve to have as much of their normal routine as possible while their parents are out of town. I am available for full day care on Wednesday, Thursday, some Fridays, and weekends as a supplement to my full time job. I no longer have pets of my own and would love the opportunity to love your pets as if they were mine! I will care for your pets as if they are my own. They deserve to be comfortable in their homes, maintaining their normal routines. I would love to help!

“I can not say enough good things about Asia. She watched my dog when I went out of town and it was my first time using rover. She updated me the entire time and sent pictures of my dog and how she was doing. I would highly recomend her to anyone, she took care of her like she was her own. Thank you again it was really a stress free experience.”

About: I have been a dog sitter/cat sitter, off and on for 20 years. I love animals! I treat and love them as if they were my own. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have plenty of yard around my home. I prefer smaller dogs, but I am flexible. Must be good with kids! I have a 14 year old who loves animals and can't wait to give them attention they need. I will be happy to come get your dog or meet you prior to watching your dog. I have a full-time job. I leave the house around 8, and I'm home most days by 4:00. My husband will be here to help out as needed. I will walk them, play and care for them as they are my own. I own a large crate so if you are crate training I can be consistent and provide that service.
“Our dog Cowboy has loved staying with Becca! She has been so accommodating of last minutes boarding requests and takes such great care of him. We get tons of updates and pictures throughout the stay and feel great knowing that he’s in good hands. He definitely enjoys running around in her fenced backyard and playing with her pup! Thanks Becca!”

“Karen made such a great home away from home for our 2 collies that they did not want to leave when we picked them up! It was the first time leaving them in years and we are so happy to have found Karen because we knew they were getting the best 1 on 1 care and attention! She sent us updates and pictures while we were away and they got to go on a lot of walks which made us so happy to hear! 1 of our collies has lots of health issues but this was not a problem for Karen while we were on vacation. Thank you again!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Jacksboro home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Jacksboro.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Jacksboro sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
