About: I’ve had and cared for my own dogs most of my life, and now that I’m retired and live alone, I truly enjoy meeting and spending time with new pups. I love getting to know all their unique personalities—it’s one of the best parts of what I do! Their company and the feeling of being needed keep me young, and I genuinely enjoy having someone to care for. I’ve been with Rover on and off for over 5 years, occasionally taking breaks due to health reasons, but my love and passion for animals has never changed. I’m always happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, if you’d like. I do have a small chiweenie named Bella who is also a senior citizen. She’s sweet, quiet, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her chunky little body. She’s never had any issues with other dogs—even larger ones—and is happy to share her space. Rest assured, I’ll care for your baby as if they were my own. 🐾❤️ I’m available full-time and very flexible with scheduling, since I no longer work. I’m happy to provide care at whatever time or date works best for you—just give me about three days’ notice so I can plan accordingly. From time to time, I do watch my son’s three grand-pups, but I always try to block those dates out in advance so there’s no overlap or confusion. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority! I do want to be fully transparent—I live in a trailer in a quiet trailer park, which unfortunately isn’t an option to select on Rover (they only allow “home,” “apartment,” or “farm”). While my neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, I promise it’s much friendlier than it looks. All of my neighbors are senior citizens and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. My best friend lives next door and helps keep an eye on my little one if I ever need to step out for errands or groceries, so your dog will always be safe and looked after. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard and typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. That said, if you prefer your pup stays inside and is only let out for potty breaks, I’m more than happy to follow your routine. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. 🐾❤️
About: I’ve taken care of animals since the young age of 10 and have always been an animal lover of all animals and have owned several dogs. I have always trained my own from potty training, crate training, to shaking hands, and have always done amazing with them. I’ve rescued several animals and strays. I absolutely love all fur babies and enjoy taking them on hikes and would love to take your fur baby on a hike or to play fetch. I work a full time job Monday-Wednesday with having a very short work day on Thursdays. I always have the spare time throughout my off days and will be able to take good care of your fur babies at all times. I have a huge yard with one fur baby that could keep yours company. My fur baby is friendly and would love to have a play date. I also can easily crate your animal if i ever needed to do so.
About: I've had a dog in my family all my life. They truly are our best friends. They deserve the best care, love, and attention we can give. I'm currently retired, so I have an open schedule. I am reasonably flexible and should be able to work with most client's pet's special needs. I have a big yard with open surrounding pasture. Currently, I don't have closed fencing. I let my dog, Duke, go outside without leash under my supervision. As is dogs nature, I like to allow him his sniffing time. Also, he loves to burn off energy playing keep away with his favorite toys/sticks. He is amiable to other dog friends. He is crate trained and there would be a crate available, if needed, for a friend's visit.
About: My first pet was a black lab when I was 5 years old. Ever since then, I’ve owned a few kinds of animals. My first sitting/boarding experience was when I was 18. I took care of two Rottweilers and one chocolate lab for a year until my friend got her own place. I have two black labs here at home. A male named Jefe (Boss) and a female named Lovey. They're sweethearts and have been great with every dog they’ve come across. Your dogs will be well taken care of. Puppies, elderly, and every doggo in between! Typically, I’m only available afternoons, evenings, and weekends, but my schedule is open right now. I’m home every day of the week doing homework and attending my online classes :) Your pet will be staying in my home (minimal furniture and very few things to knock over) or in my fenced-in backyard. My neighborhood has sidewalks that I like to stroll on, and we have two parks nearby. The only other person living with me is my girlfriend, and I have two black labs with their own indoor living space. My dogs can be kept in their room and outdoors if your visit requires it. :)
“This was Jays first visit with Dustin. Jay loved it and we are looking forward to his next visit. Dustin was very responsive to questions, communicated with us during the visit and overall made the process very easy. 5 starts.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a very walkable neighborhood with ponds and trails. If needed, I also have a crate available.
“I would like to give her a rating of more than five stars. Even after taking care of my rambunctious puppy, she described her as "sweet." Moreover—despite it being our very first meeting—she listened earnestly to my various requests. She is a truly trustworthy person.”

“Brittany is AMAZING!! My family and I adopted Poppy a year ago from an animal shelter and she has definitely stolen our hearts. So naturally like any one who loves their pet like a valuable member of the family, we wanted her to go somewhere safe where we knew she would be well cared for. I was completely blow away by how quickly she adjusted to Brittany and her family. Along with us, they are now a part of the Poppy pack.”

About: I currently work with a local rescue and have worked with rescues for two years now due to my love for animals! I foster dogs of any age as well. I am currently a stay at home mom so I would be able to spend endless amounts of time with your babies!! I have two small children as well who are well versed with dogs and are used to being around them. I have one furry baby of my own and almost always have a foster dog in my home as well. Your pet is welcome to stay in our home the same as they do in yours, whether that’s crated at night, on their dog bed, etc.
“Kimberly was amazing! She helped us by taking our pup for the day while we enjoyed a day in the outdoors. She is so sweet and clearly has a deep love and appreciation for animals! Thank you Kimberly!”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors for 30 years. When it comes to pet care, I don’t just “watch” animals, I learn them. I pay attention to the tiny tells, the tail angles, the side glances, the way they circle twice instead of three times before settling in. That means your pet isn’t getting a generic routine, they’re getting care shaped around their personality, quirks, and comfort. I communicate clearly and consistently, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. With me, your pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and you feel confident know they're in capable, attentive hands. I'm currently a homemaker and would be able to accommodate your schedule through the week and on the weekends with pet care in your home or ours. Both of our boys are rescues and have been enjoying their furever homes. Kevin (dog) found us and hasn't left our sides since coming into our lives. Uncle Ricky (cat) was adopted from a shelter and has become the most loving cat we've ever had. They are loved and spoiled beyond belief.
“Michelle has exceeded my expectations for Diggidy Doo. Her love and expert training is apparent in Diggidy Doo's trust and love of her. She gives her all and Diggidy Doo will have the fullest experience that I desire for him.”
About: I have a lot of experience caring for pets and also have experience with babysitting children. My approach is to provide a nurturing and fun environment. Right now I only do school and have plenty of time to spend since I am in a hybrid program and am currently only doing classes online. I take care of my pumpkin baby by letting him out frequently, but most of the time he stands by the door when he has to potty or go outside. And I also cuddle him and put on the TV for him. His favorite shows are Kitchen Nightmares and Strawberry Shortcake.
About: I am a highly efficient caregiver with a passion for animal care and safety; dedicated to providing exceptional services for you & your fur baby! About: Friends refer to my home as the petting zoo! A pet friendly location a safe distance from any major roads. The closest neighbor is National Forest, as such, my own animal friends are usually freely scattered throughout the property. I have always respectfully penned the goats upon request while I host guests. As clearly stated by our references, I am an experienced animal keeper. We are that family who will set in the floor to converse with pets while visiting. Together our family has raised an exhausting list of species, worms, bees, beetles, dogs, cats, snakes, tarantulas, bunnies, ducks, turkeys, chickens, peacocks, goats, fish, huge Oscar fish, squirrels, rats, snais, guineapigs, cattle, frogs, tortoises, name one, we have possibly managed one! My 3 children range from age 14 up. There are no little ones or any untrained kids here to hurt or annoy your dogs, but she will surely love and spoil them! We have recently had an old kitty to pass, as you can see in photos this kitty has always stayed by her side while she practiced piano, shared a chair with her when she did school, waited at the bathroom door for her, sat at her feet while she was in time out and beside the tub while she bathed. My oldest daughter manages animal welfare in a prominent pet store. While working she is trusted with transporting their animals to the vet. Anything I haven't yet learned; she is only a phone call away! I have always had dogs, either working, playing, or just cuddlers, I have raised, trained, or sat many breeds! This is an animal home; you can feel the atmosphere as soon as you pull up. I reside on a mountain, All dogs will be leashed while taking potty breaks and outdoor play time. This is a mini farm. I gladly offer overnight, and consecutive day stays. If you're not interested in having me spoil your babies, I may not a favorable choice.
