About: I personally have 11 cats in our house and seven dogs. Most of the dogs are 30 pounds or less but we also have a golden retriever and a labrador. I have some experience giving medication but depends on how open your pet is to their meds. I currently work full time hours but have time for overnight stays on the weekends. I also have time for drop in/checkup visits and walks on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after 6pm. On Fridays I have time for drop in visits noon or later. Exact details can be discussed based on location. I only offer services in the comfort of your own home as I have too many animals at my house to make accommodations. Having your pet remain in your home will help them feel more at ease in your absence.

About: I've lived with animals ever since I was a baby, but I've been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, I am now19! I'm currently going to school to be a veterinarian so taking care of fur babies helps me stay motivated on my long journey. Right now my college is on summer break! So I'm free until night/evening time, when my team has practice for two hours, but other than that, I really don't do anything. Your fur babies will have my undivided attention! When I enter your home and meet your fur baby(ies) for the first time, I will give them the time and space they need to adjust to me. Once they open up, I'll give them all the love and attention they need, and follow the instructions you leave for me to a T. Your pets care and comfortably is the top priority for me.
About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, from fostering puppies and kittens from the animal shelter to raising many dogs and cats! My family raised me to be an animal lover as we care for animals in such a different way. I have done overnight sittings, walkings, and day care visits for many friends and family and decided to join here to expand my abilities! I love getting to know all different kinds of animals and being able to provide them the love and care they need while their owners are away. I am currently going to start sonography school and I am not able to work a full-time job as a result I would love to watch your babies.I usually like to go for walks so it would be easy to fit any animal in my schedule as well! I have a big teddy bear of a dog that is the most spoiled rescue dog ever! If i am staying at the owners house I let them feel comfortable sleeping with me and I always clean up after myself if at someone else’s house and make sure to always keep the house tidy!
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, fish, and other beloved pets — learning that every animal has their own personality, needs, and way of communicating. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and lovingly care for their pets while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, active, and genuinely loved in my care. I’m reliable, attentive, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like family. As a gentle added touch, I’m also experienced in animal reiki, which I’m happy to incorporate during visits if welcomed by both pet and owner to help encourage relaxation and comfort. Whether your pet loves playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience and reassurance, I’ll meet them where they are with love, warmth and care. I currently work part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am available most days and weekends, including most holidays. I have a fenced dog-friendly where your dog can roam and play. I have a beautiful lawn and a beautiful tree lined neighborhood for long walks.
“He was asking a lot of questions about Maddie and that says a lot. You can tell he loves animals and this isn't just a hassle for money. Maddie had an instant liking for Rafael and that isn't common for her. Will be using Rafael again for sure.”

About: With over 40 years of hands-on experience, this original dog whisperer brings a lifetime of calm confidence, intuition, and genuine love to every home and every tail wag. From energetic puppies to senior companions and special needs dogs requiring extra patience and attentive care, no temperament or situation is unfamiliar. Decades of working closely with dogs have built a deep understanding of behavior, health, routines, and the small details that make each pet feel safe and secure. As a trusted pet sitter for neighbors year after year, I'm known for reliability, gentle leadership, and the ability to step into any home and create an environment where dogs feel relaxed, understood, and truly cared for. As an early retiree, I’m fortunate to have the time, flexibility, and energy to truly devote myself to pets and the people who love them. Without the constraints of a traditional work schedule, I’m available on a consistent daily or weekly basis, allowing me to provide dependable, unrushed care and genuine companionship. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding routines, medication support, or simply being a calm presence in the home, I’m able to give pets the attention they deserve while giving their owners peace of mind. This season of life allows me to focus on what I enjoy most — caring for animals with patience, reliability, and heart. 🐾 I provide flexible, personalized care based on what each pet and owner need most. Whether staying in a client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment, dropping in for scheduled visits to handle feeding, playtime, and medications, or simply stopping by for a refreshing walk and some exercise, I make sure every visit is calm, attentive, and tailored to their routine. My goal is to maintain consistency, reduce stress, and ensure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away or busy.

About: I used to have an auggie, which I sadly had to give away when we moved. He was very hyper and loved to play. I walked around the neighborhood with him, took him to the dog park - or played with him at home in order to tire him out. I am a college student currently taking online classes, I have plenty of time before or after class to take care of your furry companion(s) I like to make sure my own pets have a clean and comfortable environment, refilling and cleaning their food and water dishes as well as any litter. I also love to play with them and give em treats. I'll make sure to give your fur babies the same treatment!
“Margaret took great care of the pups. I think the dogs had such a great time in her care, they would have liked us to take a few more days of vacation. In all seriousness, Margaret is responsible, caring and we'll definitely reach out to her the next time we need pet sitting. I highly recommend her.”

About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.
“We had Brina stay with our pups for four days and she really bonded with them in that short time. She has maturity and is very responsible, paying attention to the details and our pups were very happy and quite calm upon our return. She has a gentle and mellow personality which mirrors that of our little cavaliers. Brina took great care of our babies as well as our home in our absence. We are quite pleased with Brina and we look forward to having her stay in our home for a longer, extended time. Thank you Brina.”

“Susan was easy to communicate with, on time, and spoiled our senior blind dog. She stayed at our home over a long weekend and walked and fed our dog everyday. Thanks so much!”

“This is our second time working with Diana and we can’t recommend her enough. Our old dogs can be pretty high maintenance, but she does a great job caring for them when we’re away. Thank you!”

“Elizabeth house-sat for us for a few days while we were away and took wonderful care of our fur babies and garden. She was thoughtful, incredibly detail-oriented, and kept us updated with photos throughout our trip. We always felt confident that she was responsive, trustworthy, and attentive to everything at home. It gave us great peace of mind knowing everything was in such capable hands. Thank you, Elizabeth!”

“The best sitters in the world! Mariam and Dominic are incredible and give us peace of mind when we need to leave our pup behind knowing he’s in such great care. They go above and beyond in all aspects and we won’t use any other sitters because we and our dog are so spoiled!”

“Rebecca was AMAZING! Our pup has never warmed up to someone so quickly and he seemed to have so much fun. She was the credible with her communication and keeping a close eye on him. We will definitely be booking her again for our next trip! Thank you SO much, Rebecca!”

About: Hi! My name is Brianna and I'm a dog mom myself and would love to watch yours :) I’m a volunteer as a dog walker at the Antioch shelter along with the Martinez shelter on my free time. I have no restrictions when it comes to breeds and I’m more than happy to take extra time to get acquainted with your pets! I don’t have any “professional” training experience but I’ve trained many shelter dogs with basic commands like sit and lay down, and with walking on leash. I use positive reinforcement with low calorie treats to achieve this. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet you and your pets in the near future :) I’m currently on summer break from college so I have a lot of time on my hands! My hours are flexible and I’m happy to work something out. I can provide any service you request in your home, from walking your dog to watering plants to anything you need! I’m familiar with crate training and will be sure to take caution with securing your home when I'm going in and out.
About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

FAQs for House Sitting - Isleton
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,661 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Isleton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Isleton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Isleton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Isleton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Isleton. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 93% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
