About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I take my own dog on walks, hikes, or to the dog park every day and would be glad to do the same with yours. Ample exercise = a happy pet! I care deeply for animals and will do all I can to keep them safe, happy, and health. I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. I follow all leash rules and will never let a dog go unsupervised while playing with a toy or eating a treat to eliminate choking hazards. I am intermittently available for either one or two weekend days/nights that welcome other dogs into my home to stay, potentially the whole week!
