I was traveling internationally, and would have otherwise been incredibly nervous to leave my baby as this was the longest I had left her, had it not been that she was completely comfortable and smitten with this lovely couple. During the stay, Julian and Jocelyn were super considerate of me being in a different time zone and sent update every single day such that I always woke to adorable updates of my baby. Not once did I have to reach out to them for updates of my baby, the updates came like clockwork. It would not have been such a wonderful vacation for me, had Julian and Jocelyn not been such a superb host for my baby. I could tell that they really love dogs and cared for Brooklyn. They even exercised my little chubber and provided training to my silly girl. This couple has been a Godsend and I am so glad I have found them! ”
About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from farm animals to house pets. I have owned many dogs and cats in the past and now. I currently have 2 huskies and 2 cats of which I completely take care of. I also have work experience when I had a job in Texas working at a doggy daycare, I learned basic training methods along with gaining the proper experience to understand dog behavior. I have a relatively open schedule, I do work two other part time jobs one being mostly night time shift and the other is whenever I choose to work. Please know I try my best to help anyone even last minute requests, but sometimes I may not be available if asked to late! I always am happy to try to be available for everyone. This makes me pretty much 24/7 available, but it’s usually best if you schedule at least a few days to a week in advance. Prices for all of my services are not negotiable, depending on the service/details. To ease your comfort I offer a free meet-and-greet visit before any paid service is handled. This isn’t required before services, and I’m usually confident enough to go without one, but it can help answer any questions you have and ensure your pet is comfortable with me. If issues were to arise while I take care of your pets their safety is the first priority to me. I will be gentle and patient with any pet cared for.

I will take care of your furbaby as my own. I work from home and can have your doggie at my feet all day :) I can also provide many many more reviews that are not shown on rover - I am happy to share upon request I currently work part time at home. I have 2 kiddos that I drop off/pick up at school. I am flexible when it comes to accommodating to your schedule/needs. Your pup will stay at my house where he/she will receive lots of love, cuddles, be fed, let outside, and play. Did I mention cuddles? :) can’t wait! I live in a rural area away from the road. There is lots of privacy and woods around us. Lots of space to run and play both outside and in. I have a wireless collar available if that would make you feel more comfortable, it provides a specific perimeter to keep the dog from running far off. I also have a lead available. For safety and comfort, I make sure to feed pets separately. and for peace of mind, please know that I will be with your dog the entire time.

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.

About: I’ve spent many years volunteering at shelters. Dog walking at a very young age started walking dogs in my neighborhood as a kid. It’s only progressed from there. I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I’ve had dogs around my entire life! Currently I have two pups of my own, a black lab and a Belgian Malinois! Whatever needs you have I’m confident I can handle! I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule to help accommodate, I do not work weekends. I work in St. Albans so I have a wide range between my home and work place. I live on the lake in Franklin so my dogs get plenty of outdoor time! Between swimming and daily walks. I have lots of enrichment activities for pups as my Malinois requires physical and mental activities! I crate one of our dogs so I can accommodate any type of care for your pet.

I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my girl Olive is still finding her confidence as a previous stray and working on her leash reactivity! It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). We usually leave Miso at a boarder, but since our trip was going to be longer than usual we were hoping to find someone local that could give Miso more personal attention and affection - Aaron made us feel comfortable leaving Miso with him for an extended period of time.
