About: I've taken care of/had the pleasure of sharing my time with the following: dogs, cats, farm animals (horses, cows, chickens, turkeys), snakes, tarantulas and turtles. I've also cared for ill pets/pets with very specific daily routines. My wife and I currently have two loving, energetic dogs (2, 7) and three clingy cats (11, 11, 10). I'm currently very flexible with scheduling as I mostly do contract and-or gig work online. I'm available every day of the week, and generally any time requested. I'll ask questions to determine the level/frequency/type of care your pet requires, and will ask that you're specific in your requests. A meet and greet will be required, barring emergency circumstances.

About: I’ve been a go-to caretaker of pets for family, friends, and neighbors since a young age. Every animal is an individual with their own unique needs, motivations, things that bring them joy/comfort, and routines that support their wellbeing. I have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, horses/mules, farm animals, and some parrots. Senior and medically complex pets are some of my favorite critters to care for, and with years of dog and cat rescue under my belt, I’ve provided direct care to some animals in dire situations with confidence. I trust my ability to handle emergencies should they arise and behave in a manner that is in line with modern best practices of care. Additionally I am a sport/working dog handler and very comfortable with high drive breeds like shepherds, collies, and heelers. My daily life is dedicated to the wellbeing of my personal animals. Their enrichment and comfort is an utmost priority. At least once a week I go on outings away from our 6 acre property to get the dogs in new places and work on their training/getting to do fun things (I.e. going to the river, training at big box stores, joining a friend for a meal at a restaurant or park). The dogs are trained several days a week but also allowed time to just be dogs and goof around. Our cats are indoor-outdoor and live full and social lives. Our rabbit is a house rabbit seasonally, meaning she’s outside when the weather is nice, and inside to hang with the cats in the winter. She gets grass time and lots of back porch time where she can be her wild self. I will maintain your pet’s routine to the best of my ability, and they will be cared for to their unique preferences depending on their needs, wants and daily rhythms. Frequent potty breaks or litter box cleanings, access to fresh water in clean bowls, checking bowel movements and keeping up with medications, play time, walks, maybe an outing if possible, and appropriate rest periods to promote balance and wellbeing. Dogs in my care are transported via safety crates (ruffland) to greater ensure safety should we get into an accident, this also prevents issues with any animals that might be escape artists or destructive when left unattended or get bored easily. I travel with first aid materials on hand and work closely with several local veterinary practices who provide varied levels of care, from minor cuts/scrapes, to emergency events.

About: Spent whole life with dogs and cats. Am owner of service dog and work consistently with him daily; therefore, I can participate in any training your pet may be involved in. I am confident with all pets of all ages and happy to take care of your dogs and cats. I am certified cat and dog CPR/First Aid. I am EKU student on summer break so my current schedule is wide open. I plan to continue offering pet care services when school starts up again in the Fall. I have a large, well-fenced yard for your dog to play in, with a few nice shade trees as well. Love taking dogs for walks and our neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. Dogs can also come inside to enjoy AC if it’s too hot outside. My dog + I are happy to come to your home also, to care for your pets.

About: I spent my college years working at kennels for cats and dogs. I’ve also been known to house sit for friends with multiple dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens. I work part time at Frito Lay. I write full time (and take the occasional class). I travel a lot with work but keep a flexible schedule. About: I have taken care of not just dogs and cats but also bunnies, rats, fish and ducks and all of them were wonderful learning experiences I am a university student and some days are busier than others but I will always have time between classes to come check on animals. I have had dogs and cats my whole life so I have some experience working with them. Mine are crate trained and I know they need to be checked in regularly.

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. All my fur babies have been trained by me. if you have a puppy that is still in training I have no problem with that. we have all been there. I worked for a year at a local animal rescue. Where I was able to strengthen my knowledge on behavioral training and pet health. I am a college student and am free lot of the time but class are during the day. So breaks away from your fur babies might be longer during the semester. My top priority is to make sure your animals are safe and secondly happy. This means checking on not only your fur babies but also your house to make sure there are no new problems arise. About: My family has always had dogs in the home since I was 6. I’ve had my two dogs for the past 5 years, one of them is 5 and the other is a 12 year old rescue. I have experience with potty and crate training. I am a SAHM which allows me to give our pets as much attention as possible. I’m home for feedings, potty breaks, and daily walks. I do not have a fenced in yard, my dogs do a good job of staying within our property limits. However I also have different leashes to go out with them.

About: I have lived with a variety of animals my whole life, and began regularly taking care of family and friends' dog and cats when I was 17. I am very attentive to the needs and body language of both dogs and cats, and adapt well to their unique behaviors and routines. I have experience with aloof/aggressive pets, senior pets, and young pets 6 months or older. I only work a couple days a week so I am comfortable with providing constant care to pets who cannot be left alone. I like to operate on a schedule so I am good about keeping up with bathroom breaks, feeding times, medications, etc. I am consistently available to care for your pets Sunday-Wednesday, and may frequently be available Thursday-Saturday as well (I do my best to update my calendar appropriately as far in advance as possible). I will request information about your pet's personality and care requirements prior to meeting with you. I ask that you allow me to meet your pet outside under your supervision before the stay begins, for both mine and your pet's safety and comfort.

About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. About: I have had animals my whole life and love them!! I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I care for them along with many animals of my friends and family. I have a wide variety of experience from all sizes, breeds, and ages. I promise to love your animal just as they were mine:) I am a nursing student at EKU and I am just looking for something that will allow me to balance my school schedule as well. I have a pretty open schedule except for Tuesday’s and Thursdays which I am not available from 8:00am-4:00pm due to classes. I am not able to be at home with my animals so why not accompany the ones around me😊 I pretty much do whatever the client wants me to do or what the animal is used to. I do not crate my animals at home due to someone always being in the household with them but am understanding of any demands or routines.
